Final paper ended on Monday, 12pm. Do not even mention the status of the course now. Looks like I've gotta retake the entire course again next semester. I really despise the lecturer who not only did not do his job properly, yet he decided to kill all of us throughout the entire course. Not only he gave such a difficult paper for tests, he gave us a super-killing Final paper which I doubt, not many could have completed the whole paper. As for me, I sat there the first hour, cursing him. I hope he falls into a man-hole or something, this Hitler-lookalike lecturer of mine. Damnit!
Enough talking about this lecturer of mine. As soon as I finished my paper, Jialin called and said that her dad will be coming to pick us up at 5pm. Darn, and I thought we already planned to leave the next day. So straight after I exited the exam hall, I sped back to my room, and clean it. It was in such a big mess, especially during the exam period, all my notes were everywhere, and my textbooks were occupying almost 2/3 of my table. I opened the huge cupboard of mine, and chucked everything into 2 big luggage bags, 1 camping bag, and 2 school bags. I only managed to bring 3/4 of my stuffs back to Ipoh, and vowed to come back later after the holiday in KL.
Straight to KL, I dropped by her place and her parents were glad to see me. I am afterall, a good, well-educated girl in their eyes, especially her mum, was happier to see me than her own daughter.(Bah!) Watodo..good girl ma..
The next day, it was filled with loadsa activities which includes the malls. My purpose of going down this time, is to really makan-makan around the whole KL.

The first day, was to the new wing of Sunway Pyramid which was supposed to be better and bigger. However, to much disappointment, not all the shoplots were opened, and to get from one place to the other was difficult. The maps were confusing and we had to depend on our instinct to move about. However, we managed to get to Kim Gary's and have Sarapan ala HongKong, yang amat cheap in KL with the total of RM4 for the food I ordered. As soon I took breakfast, we went to the Bar-B-Q plaza to take our 2nd breakfast. The food was so-so, it was the experience which was priceless. For dinner, we went to Paddington's for pancakes, another breath-taking experience with a painful jab on my wallet, of course.

Guess where I went the next day?

It was cold. December and all.
Haha, we went to Genting Highlands, it was a one day trip thing, and we had lotsa fun. Damn, it was nice catching up with childhood, and darn, it was foggy that day, so alot of rides were closed down. We, however, were lucky enough to watch the premier of Enchanted in Genting that day. Nice movie, with alil twist. Cliche.

Came back after 5 days. Darn. Now looking for job. No money.

I sibeh cannot tahan people taking their display pictures with their bIG-bIG SLR cameras..and usually, most of them, are pornography, no, wait, photography lovers.
So, being the horny me, no wait, naughty self..decided to play around with my 3-months old baby Olympus which took my entire life saving to purchase it. (Now, I am left broke, looking for a part-time job!).
Anyone can help me?
So, from now onwards, can I call myself a camera-lover instead??

p/s: I am going to change all the display picture into this.

What a good way to kick-start the holidays back at home.

At first I thought it was something to do with the bed bugs, but no, after I changed the bed sheets, this thing started growing more and more. For the whole night, I was busy keeping myself awake, crawled into one corner and scratched myself, like a dog full of fleas.
It was till one point, I cannot tahan already, went in front of my dad, showed him the bite marks, and the first question my parents shot me was,
"Were you been drinking??"
Adoi. I wished I was, but I hadn't had a single drop of alcohol, even when I was in KL for 5 days. Yeah, tell me about it. Laundry bar was so near, but nope, I didn't make it there, not even for one night. Only 1 person knows why. Ask her.
Anyways, that's an entire different story. So, parents bought me to this clinic and the doctor certified that I have...
I have...
I HAVE....

NO,WAIT..the doctor didn't tell me what it was in English. Man, all I know in Cantonese, it's call "Fong Mok" which you can get if you have an allergy or something. Mum reckons that I have ultra-sensitive skin so when I brushed against something, I can get one of those.
And, it's probably the "kerang" which I had for 3 consecutive days. Shhh..do not let my parents know (or they will murder me!)
So, after having the medicine, and it made me so drowsy for the whole night, having to wake up every 2 hours to pee-pee, and I had to walk in a sway manner to the toilet everytime because I felt so dizzy. Anyway, according to my dad, pee-pee is good coz the toxic are all coming out from my body. So, there you go. Pee all you can.
Sigh, bummer weh. Now, the thing all subsided, and the itchy feeling is no longer day, but the effect of the medication is still lingering, so gotta take naps in between.

Just had another lesson with Programming earlier, when I tried to fix the html codes of my blogsite and somehow, I am really thankful that I have alil basic with codes. Though not perfect, at least got alil bit ma..no half pail, also have quarter le gua??
(Afterall, I got myself a B for Structured Programming okay..consider not bad already lor..)
I've signed up for Pay Per Post, and am not sure whether my blog will be accepted. It was rejected earlier because they said, the search engines couldn't locate my blogsite. Hah, I deactivated that, when I was pretty sure I do not want my family knowing what I write here. But now, in need of money, watodo..have to limit my privacy, expose everything lor..am pretty sure no one is gonna backtrack my entries la..
Anyway, continue to drop by la..though I will focus more on posts which brings in money la, albeit alil boring, but it's factual and all, come back la k? and if can, click on the ads, and entries la..click d, means I got money. If I have money, then can belanja you guys la..starbucks ka, paddington ka, victoria station ka, oldtown kopitiam ka, uncle cheng beef noodle ka..you know..THAT'S IF I GET PAID FOR MY ENTRIES LA..otherwise, mou dak keng!
Speaking of which, I had yummy uncle cheng's beef noodle that day, when Yiling decided to risk my life, and I had to drive all the way to SS17. And have to find a coffee shop named "kafeteria khasiat". Eh, deyy..kafeteria means the canteen in school okay..mana pula ada good food, except the ones in MGS, which I exceptionally miss once in a while. So, there I went, Hunting for this kafeteria which was not located in a school..

As I was driving, then Jialin was just beside and kept hitting my arms, saying "there it is!!".
Aiyo, so secluded man!
Hopes weren't that high, so nevermind la, important part was to meet up with Yiling la..

Nice and clean coffee shop, unlike the ones in the busy city. This was pretty clean, and not many people were there, must be the time when everyone has already left for work. Plus it was a weekday.
Being the smart alec me, I went to the stall with Yiling and approached the man.First thing I asked was,"Can we have 'mei fun'? (bihun in canto)", and he was like, "Hah?"
I thought he did not hear me properly so I repeated my question. Yet, it was the same response, and I quickly spoke to him in English. Little did I know that he was an English speaking fella, who sells beef noodles.
Not bad ah, no wonder people say nowadays deglee not enough, at least must get PHD. Yeah wat, hawkers also speak Ingrish, then Professionals must do more than that already.

The fella, named Julien, came and talked to us. Told us the ingredients of the noodles, but I cannot tell you here, because if I tell you, mai no fun already right? Better you go and see him and ask him yourself. Don't worry la, though he looks abit tough from the outside, he's quite friendly. And from his 20-minute conversation with us, he opened up my mind about alot of things. Though I can feel that he very pro-christianity, but it's okay wat, he believes in whatever he wants la. All I care is about his food la..right??
Anyway, I won't tell you where the place is at la. A hint earlier, it's in SS17, in PJ. But really wanna go ge wah, give me a call la, I go with you better. Scared you get lost. Call me, better. Bring you there straight
p/s: Pictures courtesy of Yiling's brand new Sony camera. Cun-ted la..I heart Carl lens..

What is seVen months to You?
In seVen months, anything from the impossible can become the possible.
In seVen months, the best can be the worst; the good ones can rot.
In seVen months, you can earn your first Gold.
In seVen months, you start to realize you are growing old.
But for me, in seVen months, a relationship is growing strong.
A relationship which knows nothing about turning back.
A relationship, with just You and Me.
Hand in hand, waiting for the eiGhth month to come by.
and with God's grace, for many to come too.

Sometimes I would sit down, try to space out the yellings and shoutings out of my head.
I will try to avoid such loud noise to get to me.
Thinking that it's another phase in life to endure and to put up with.
I seriously hope that they will stop arguing and fighting.
Not about financial issues, not about our education, not about whether there's food on the table tomorrow.
We can work this out. We are family.

I am thinking of changing my blog to be less-dramatic.
Less ranting, complaing, whining, bitching; more interesting read-ups.
Was thinking of becoming a Flogger (Food+Blogger)
But then, I often forget to take pictures of the nice food because I was too engrossed to having them fill my tummy. (Yeap, food I eat are sooo good that I can't really focus at times!)
So, in the mean time, I shall see what I can do, and hopefully, earn some money from the internet.

I used to go to Kwai Woh Tong for Gui Ling Gao every time I come down to KL. Because Ipoh simply doesn't have Kwai Woh Tong, and perhaps, I enjoy Gui Ling Gao so much that I do not mind paying though they can be abit pricey.
So, you could probably guessed my look when I saw there's Kwai Woh Tong in Genting. And you guys know that food in Genting is never cheap. Anything lesser than RM10 is considered to be cheap there. So, without any hesitation, I pulled my partner-in-crime and ordered a big Gui Ling Gao. Costed me RM10, for something which was not filling, but then again, it was temptation that I couldn't resist.

No snacks in between. OMFG! OMG!
I think I am going to turn bullemic soon. It's just a matter of time.
It rained the whole day today.
Stickgirl is really good with art. I was like this the whole time today. --->

The morning didn't start quite well. It begun with a drizzle, then, a heavy pour. Pretty much sums up how I should be feeling today.
Sue Ann's getting married. Oh, Sue Ann is my mother's brother's second daughter, which means my cousin, is getting married today, in Syuen Hotel. The wedding lasts for 3 days, with tonight, the wedding banquet, then tomorrow the 'chao fun' night, and the following day, the ceremony. So troublesome that the whole family has to be on call throughout this 72 hours. I really dislike the idea of formal events, because that day, mum dragged me to get a dress for tonight's wedding. I hate dressing up, and I can't turn up in jeans, because the 'sam gu lok po' of the family will talk behind our backs, questioning why am I still dressed so casually. Damn!!
So, tonight, I am going to sulk, wear that pathetic-looking dress, which I had to close one-eye and pick, (I think it looks hideous, like some funeral-looking thing) and hopefully lasts through the night, without having any of my uncles, aunties, and cousins laughing at the way I look.
And to top my misery, my 'AUNTY' decides to drop by, and give me extra kicks on my stomach. Darn, the cramps are terrible this time around, I wonder why. But the 'aunty' is nowhere to be seen. Fuck!!!
So in a horrijible mood right now. And I've gotta wear a farking dress tonight. How fucked up is that?!!

Walked into the Grand Ballroom in Syuen, expecting a dream-like Royal Wedding. This was according to mum, the wedding of the year. Their side of the family have been preparing for this wedding for almost 2 months now, and honestly, from the whole event, I could see the end results.
As we walked towards the reception, on our right, there's a huge notice board, with all the guests names and which tables they are supposed to be seated in. This was a good idea because you don't really need much usherers to bring the guests to their respective tables because the instructions were simple.
1. Find your blardy name on the board.
2. Check which table number you are.
3. Walk in and sit down.
See, simple. Unlike the other cousin's wedding I went that day. There was a huge commotion because the guests do not want to be seated with the people whom they do not know. However, last night's was pretty organized, everyone was seated happily.
I've known Szu Ann for almost my whole life (Duh! She's related to me) and we used to have sleep-overs, albeit the age gap. And Keh Jun came into her life, when she finished High School, and they were friends since. Keh Jun is one heck of a rich guy okay..at the age of 20, he was already driving a BMW (father punya la but still..the car is the highlight here!). These two is a pair made in heaven. Seriously, the most patient and understanding couple on earth! Remember when Jack (my stupid brother!) went over to hang out when he was very young and he was being a pest, but Keh Jun handled him quite well. Brought him to bowling with Y-han(my other cousin) so that they have something to do, instead of berkulat-ing at home.
Did I tell you that Szu Ann graduated from UTP also? With First Class too! Okay, nevermind about that lil info, coz mum has been bugging me with that piece of news every semester when it commences.
Anyway, since my uncle is a respected well-known doctor, so he had Dato' Ong Ka Chuan and Dato' Aziz as the Guests of Honour. The whole event was done in a organized way, and so formal-ish. No 'dai kum cheh' (the bising woman who always talks on the stage(non-stop)). There was this woman instead, who talked in a professional English speaker, introducing Szu Ann and Keh Jun, and handled the event pretty well. I heard she got paid a total of RM1500 to do this. Man! Why didn't I apply for that job? Hahha, but alas, she also spoke very good Mandarin and Cantonese, which I do not do so well, of course!
Food was so-so, just the atmosphere was good. I was feeling uneasy with a dress, so I didn't do much standing up and walking around. Only cousins who stopped by and say hie once in a while. Fortunately, all of them said I looked nice in the dress, but I was skeptical. Kept asking them whether they were in alliance with my mum. Well, perhaps, it's the time for me to dress casually in skirts once in a while eh? (<-- this is for my mum if she ever reads my blog!)

Picture taken with my 2-MP camera phone, and their smoke effect was tremendous!!
A total of 55 tables last night, was one of the biggest wedding dinner I've attended since my uncle's wedding in 1998, with a total of 80 tables in a large hall. Hmm..I shall break the record..with only one table during my wedding dinner.
(Mum would kill me!! I told her I do not want a wedding ceremony and she threatened to slap me and said, "Girls must have wedding ceremony okay?? No matter how small also have to do..later people think you pregnent already, malu want to kahwin!"
Ok,nevermind nevermind...enough publicity for my cousin's wedding. Just wish her luck with her new wedding. I know a big secret of Keh Jun anyways, which will ruin their marriage but it's her choice. And if Keh Jun seems to love her and Szu Ann can bear with it, then we shall just move on and pretend nothing happened.
Oh, they married at a young age lah..25 ok..no pregnency, no nothing..just both very much in love with one another.
*Jialak now! everyone keep asking me where my boyfriend is. Damn, how to create one boy out ah?!!!*

I shall leave you with a picture of me and my brother. Ok-lah, not so bad, 2 pictures ok wert...

I don't know whether any of you would remember the old phone I used to have, right before I switched to my new Sony baby?
The Nokia 3230 - a rather old phone, but with lotsa memories.
I don't really love that phone, giving the fact that it's always lagging, and for me to open a new application, the whole phone lags for 1 minute before resuming. However, the fact that alot of my sweet messages with her and her were still inside. So, I refused to sell the phone even though I had a better one, keeping it, giving myself an excuse that a back-up phone would come in handy. It's just that the memories were too painful to give up.
Lately, my brother's been bugging me that he wants the phone and he doesn't see me using it. After much thinking, and alot of growing up (emotionally and mentally!) decided to give it to him. So, of course, I promised that I would clear everything inside first before handing it over. So, what to do with the 2908 messages that were stored in the phone for almost 2 and 1/2 years now?
I deleted my past, in a mere 6 minutes.
Before I deleted them, I scrolled through, and had a minor breakdown for a while. How caring and loving MP and I were together once. It was as if only yesterday that we were in lovey-dovey terms. Just a short flashback, before I realized I have pressed the 'Clear' button and the process of deleting has started.
The whole 2 years of my life, spent, loving someone, deleted just like that. And I looked back to myself, how naive and childish I had been, clinging onto someone who didn't value me enough. How someone can change just because of the distance. Heck! Australia is just 5 hours flight away!
Aah, I don't want to talk about this. Life's changed for most of us, and for me, my life has just begun!

So maybe it was Dad's fault in the first place, but then again, who says Dad can't afford to pay the summon ticket?
He wasn't the one who suggested the 'duit kopi', it was the policeman who stopped him.
Mum and I were in the car, and me, being tad drunk after 3 shots of XO was enough to make me brave enough to take a video of them, without them knowing of course!
5 policemen were waiting on the flyover bridge at 11pm, whatever for?!!
There are better things to do, such as meronda-ronda somewhere, rather than sit there and wait for offences to occur.
See the damn faces also I know they want money only.
While I was taking the video, one of them sorta knew what I was doing, but I pretended that I wasn't doing anything much.
Corruption level running high in the country now, aih, see la..pilih siapa kita susah?
He was satisfied with a mere RM20. Oklah, maybe we were wrong to support 'duit kopi' but what to do, he already offered. Diam diam give only la..Plus who said if you pay RM200 they are going to do something good with the money right??

Wanna share something about the recent wedding I attended, which I hoped my time would come soon..(hehe!)
Uncles and aunties have been asking about the special someone.
Mum and Dad are wondering who's the person I am always talking to, through the phone.
Bro grins everytime I shove the subject off.
Anyway, 20 is still a pretty young age. Though it's just another decade before I turn 30 but still, a decade is still 10 years..I will figure out something by then!
Well, the wedding of the 'year' had caused a bit of hoo-hah in the family lately, but can't write about them here, in case my cousins stumble upon this blogpage, and I would have my head chopped off instantly. So, the wedding did last for 3 days, and the third day was the tea ceremony.
So, early in the morning, the aunties and uncles went to my uncle's house and waited for the bridegroom to come all the way from Kampar.

This is only part of the family. The rest of the other side of the family was busy enjoying the air-conditioner inside, which raised alot of questions and hatred. Anyway, that story aside.
*If you see closely, you would have noticed my parents*

It's the Chinese tradition to do loud honkings before arriving to the bride's doorstep. So, when the honkings came, everyone jumped into action, and the doors were closed. Oh yeah, it's a tradition that the ji-muis of the bride must 'torture' the bridegroom and his friends before allowing them to get the bride.
So, there, in the Mercedes, is the bridegroom, picture taken by the local papers' photographer. Well, these 2 families are afterall, someone important in the society, reporters are expected to come and join in the fun!

My cousin who was in charged to open the bridegroom's car door, but before that, they have to come to an agreement of the amount of angpau he can get if he opens the door. He's an important factor, because as long as he doesn't opens the door, the groom cannot come out from the car. Why? Tradition lorr!

Apparently they couldn't compromise with the price that was offered by my cousin, so he grabbed a chair and sat down, trying to threaten the groom. Well, money was not an issue because the groom came from a rich background, seeing the Mercedes he came with.

And my gawd, all his friends, a.k.a Heng dai came in big big cars. To name a few, BMWs, Hondas and Benz..enough to prove my point?
Anyway, they soon came to point when time was running out, and the Chinese believe in feng shui that kinda thing, so they sped up the process, and my cousin got his Big angpow, and no more fooling around.

even became good pals okay! haha, actually they knew each other quite well, it was all a show they put on to create a live-ier wedding ceremony!
Then, the groom has to pass through the ji-muis so that he can get them to open the door. Very good tricks and all, already took video of them, but photobucket is taking such a long time to load, so I will have to post them in the next entry.
Very funny, but all points down to one thing, the groom really understands his bride really really well, and he has good looking heng dais too! haha..very good ones, who did back him up when the ji-muis 'tortured' the groom.
After getting pass the ji-muis, the tea ceremony begun and the angpows were given to the non-married ones, took family pictures and then

the dad has to send the bride off. All the way to Kampar.
To end this post, a closer picture of me and the bride.

Need to do something fun, than spending time with the old women of the family.
Can't go down south to Singapore this Christmas, because my granddad would be celebrating his 80th birthday.
So, the family is gonna gather then, to have this big formal dinner, (and I would have to wear a goddamn dress (again!))
Anyway, it's a good thing that everyone's flying to Malaysia, from everywhere to be together, and we are gonna take a family picture in a studio.
Well, probably the last formal one, so everyone's kinda looking forward to it.
And people, you know my number. Call me if you happen to be in Ipoh.
I really need to talk crap already.

Guys are purely dumb, or they just wouldn't want to listen..?
Got to know this guy through my cousin, and since he's doing his degree in UTM, Skudai, Johor, he gets to know alot of people from all around. And apparently, because his friend was around, so he decided to introduce us, hoping we could hang out together. And this is the same cousin who tried to pull strings for me, even when I was in high school. *Scared I cannot get married!*
Anyway, this guy came all the way to see this girl, who obviously doesn't care about this guy's feelings. Thus this guy is pretty messed up, because his hometown to Ipoh is not that near, and he came all the way to see her, but she gives him the cold shoulder. Then he got sad, and he talked to me, though we barely knew one another, but we did talk, and I had to layan. Gave him some pretty good advice, to leave the blardy girl, and just move on, but guess what, the next day he wakes up, and he does the same stupid mistakes again. And we talked again, even though he went back to his hometown, yet we still keep in touch but he keeps talking about the same girl over and over again. He listens to me after I advise him, but goes back to the same old thing again.
My patience is running short, so can this AMC girl, kindly just leave him alone? Tell him that you don't want him, instead of just leading him on.
I really think AMC breeds people who tends to drag people's feelings, leave them miserable and torture them mentally.
I was one of the victims, so there, I am a living example!
*Eewan, why la?? what's wrong with your alma mater la??*
Anyway, that aside, my other cousin who I rarely meet, came and tell me that if I didn't have such gorgeous, lip-smacking boobs, I would have make out for a very good looking guy. Don't know whether to thank my mum for the genes, or to whallop my cousin for having to come up with such comments. She even asked me to camwhore, which I did..hehe..why, who doesn't love looking at themselves???

Anyway, if you don't like the above post, with my pictures on, you can just exit the browser. This post isn't meant for you either. I know, out there, someone misses me, and wants a foot rub badly. Well, this will do I guess..
So now, the most important question: Glasses or no glasses???

Look what I found, while clearing my study desk..

"BENE ORASSE, BENE STUDUISSE"
Aah! The days when I was running wild in Form 6. When I thought I wouldn't have to step into ACS to do Form 6. I had to. It was rather disappointing to receive a letter from UTP, saying that I failed to make into UTP. Well, what other choices were there, but to don on another set of uniform, and set out to our Brother school. But it wasn't disappointing at all. In fact, I couldn't be happier to remain in the comfort zone. There was no need to run to an entire new place, and to start all over again. Everyone whom I knew from MGS was going to be in ACS.
New people did came in from various schools. Poi Lam took the majority. Ended up in the Physics stream, supposed to be the best sciences of all. About 200 students thought the same way, thus, we were all crammed in one big lecture hall. Wow, the number is enough to scare any teacher who walked in to meet us. Out of the 200, only 6 were from MGS alone. We were the minority, but we took charge as if we ruled the school. Probably because we were the minority, and the ACS guys whom we knew earlier back in high school felt obligated to stick up for us.
Ming Nyet. Kok How. Me. Pooi Yeng. Mei Ling. Cheng Chien. Kiranjit.
Did I miss anyone?
Well, it didn't take long for us to mingle around with the new people. People from PoiLam, and the indian guys of ACS. In fact those whom I didn't know earlier, we clicked pretty fast. Theepan, the guy whom was assigned to be my assistant, (or is it the other way round) for the Teacher's Day commitee?
So many people whom I would recognize as soon as I look at their faces, but if you were to ask me to name them, I really can't do so anymore.
And there was this Sixth Form representative President: Justin.
See, I do remember, it just takes a little time for me to recall.
Thinking back, I remembered how I screwed up my Prefects' interview with the Hi-Com. Was so damn nervous in the meeting room that I became defensive, and sorta became rude. The girl seniors were mostly from MGS, and they were quite surprised to see a 180 degrees change in me that day. Well, the defense came in too strong, I guess. I did something with the teachers and the administration, and I was back in the game soon after. Many were talking behind my back, saying that I was too desperate for the position, but heck! I was already in Form 6, and if I don't get the experience of the tie suffocating me in the uniform then, when will my next chance be?
I swear I was too young back then. Really was immature and alil naive then. Wasted the time, doing things which didn't worth the effort at all. Well, it's those memories which keeps me alive now.
Everyday in Form 6, was fun. How I used to very close with my 'ji-mui' back in ACS. Ji Mui = Ming Nyet. But that was a long time ago, since everyone has parted into different paths. One week passed, and many left to different parts of the world. Some got offer to local universities, some got offer to join the millitary, some just do not want to waste time in the 2-year foundation.
The teacher who left an impact to me was Mrs Lim, the one who taught us MUET. She really did love MGS girls alot, kept stating that we were very good with speeches and public speaking. Padahal, none of us spoken in public before, and just because she compared us to the PoiLam students who had weak English foundation. I remembered she asked me to go out for a spontaneous topic, and I came out pretty well. Fumbled a little, but ah! who doesn't make mistakes, right?
The week after, she kicked me into the debate competition team. Wahliao, mana boleh. But it was fun, when I even went for the MadSoc thing. MadSoc is the school's drama production. Ah, if I didn't leave, I would've been involved in the school play.
The fun only lasted for 2 months, when I received another letter from UTP, telling me to sign up as a student in 2 weeks time. I left ACS with hesitation. I was beginning to love ACS, didn't stay long enough to be patriotic towards it, but long enough to forge a strong relationship with the teachers and students there.
But people always forget, they don't remember who you are after awhile, so people move on, and somehow, you are the only one who remembers that you were once a student in ACS.

NO CASH, NOWHERE TO GO?

Probably if you have been keeping track with my blog entries, I have been mentioning that I am in need of cash, especially during the holidays. I know, I may seem to look rather prosperous with the gadgets I am seen with, but deep down, there's a big hole in my wallet, and my parents ain't going to find about that. I tried reasoning with them, trying to find part-time jobs in shopping malls, but they refused to see the point of me, sacrificing my semester break, having to work my heart out, just to get some money.
Little do they know, their little girl is really in need of cash!
I've tried asking around, trying to find jobs such as data-entry where you can actually work from home, and even to the extend that I've been pasting numerous ads in my blogpage, making it look not so personal anymore, and for what? Because I really needed the money.
I've seen Goh, writing paid post which really brings in alot of extra cash for her. (Which explains her newly bought phone and iPod)!! So, I've thought to do some paid post to gain some extra cash. No harm, I will try to stick to my personal self, maintain the personal style of my blogpage, hoping to earn alil extra along the way.
She complained that I never learn to save. Trust me! My motto in life: "Enjoy now, worry later!"
None of my bank accounts have more than rm100 in them, why? because it's either I am running low on cash so badly, that I've to overdraft my accounts most of the time. So, with payperpost, I'm hoping that I can get the first $20, and it will go straight into my account. A start for me to save. A stepping stone.
Are you having your semester break like me too? And since the sales is on the way, you can use abit of the extra cash to get what your heart's been yearning. Check out payperpost.com, type out a few words, and you are on the way to becoming the next MILLIONAIRE(if you work hard-la!)

Ever since I came home, I've yet to catch up with any of my high-school friends.
Only been hanging out with my aunties, uncles, and cousins, who are likely wayyyyyy much older than I am.
Mixing with that kinda crowd, makes me feel old and (dry!). Don't ask me why, just old and try, will do.
Haven't be drinking, except if you consider drinking a much diluted XO during my cousin's wedding.
But other than that, I've been visiting all the franchise of Oldtown Kopitiam, and am starting to get really really sick and tired of the same food(and drinks!) being served.
So, last night, when I found that some people went to Sincero and not telling me at all, my heart was crushed. So crushed, coz I wanted to try out the new place, and no one's home to accompany me. And they went without me!! *stomps feet and wailllll*
Well, can't blame them, no one seems to know when I am home, and no one seems to know when I am away.
Being attached is really ruining my social life man!
I've been browsing through some people's blogpage, and realized they are still pretty mad about some issues, unresolved. Darn, move on already.

It's little things like this which gives me hope..

And this, he urged me to take it, and I was so tempted, so I did.

I sure hope he's not old enough to surf the internet, and somehow bump into my blog. He would probably loathe me, for the rest of his life.

I don't know about you, but lately, my bank account is showing signs that it's running out of cash. In other words, I am running out of money. And this kinda situation is not good-lah, especially when it's the Year End sales is on progress now. Damn, imagine seeing the pair of Nikes but you can't get your hands on it, because the ATM refuses to let you withdraw any money from it.
I wonder if any of you have such problems too? Like right now, or before?
Or if you are in need of emergency cash, for instance, one of your family members is admitted into the hospital and you need to pay a large sum of hospital fees and obviously, such problems you can't foresee thus you have no extra cash in hand.
Or maybe you just experienced a car accident and you need the extra money to fix your car?
Or maybe you asked for loan in your local friendly banks, but you got turned down, due to bad credit or maybe they doubt you can pay back after that?
Fret no more, because the solution is here!
Payday Loan offers you up to $1500 on the same day, and guess what, you can pay later with a fixed, low interest fees!
And you can do everything just by a click of mouse. Get all the deal signed up through online application. There's no application fees needed and all you need is just to provide them your proof of employment and monthly income and they will send you the faxless cash advance.

It's during the holiday seasons that people from abroad misses their family and friends back home.
Especially when this is the season to be jolly, and with Christmas and New Year just around the corner, people would more likely miss their family and friends back home.
People who are fortunate ones can afford to fly back every holidays.
Some, like Eewan whom can't manage to book a ticket earlier, would have to stay behind, be away from home, cold in the winter. (haha!)
So, when everyone is back home, enjoying turkey and fruit cakes, what would you want the most?
Listen to your family's warm greetings, of course! Have a light chat with your loved ones back home. Though you are miles apart, yet the voice of yours to your family can be very comforting.
However, call rates are not that cheap nowadays. Price hikes up, especially during the holidays. So how can you afford to make long distance calls, especially if you are just a student abroad, and have no extra money at all?
I know a company which offers a wide range of phone cards, which gives you the reason the call home even more!
PhoneCardAvenue has been providing IN-expensive international phone cards for a very long time now. And if you still don't know their existence, it's still not too late. They recently introduced a 3% cash rebate program where you will get 3% of every calling card or phone card you purchased from them. So, let's say you buy a phone card with the price of $30, you can get 3% of the price you've paid, back. They have a range of different prepaid phone card which you can purchase for your own needs.
There are so many phone cards available to cater to different needs. Such as Juicy Discount Phone card, which gives you more minutes to your conversation, Grand International Phone card, Hello Asia Continental Phone card, etc. Go to the website, and read more about the phone cards, and each of them can offer you different talking time to the destination you desire to call to.
Call your loved ones now, before it's too late. Call home, tell them you love them.

Jan McLaugLin - So Close
You’re in my arms
And all the world is calm
The music playing on for only two
So close together
And when I’m with you
So close to feeling alive
A life goes by
Romantic dreams will stop
So I bid mine goodbye and never knew
So close was waiting, waiting here with you
And now forever I know
All that I wanted to hold you
So close
So close to reaching that famous happy end
Almost believing this was not pretend
And now you’re beside me and look how far we’ve come
So far we are so close
How could I face the faceless days
If I should lose you now?
We’re so close
To reaching that famous happy end
And almost believing this was not pretend
Let’s go on dreaming for we know we are
So close
So close
And still so far
With the Christmas mood around, to those who lose their loved ones, and those who are still fortunate enough to have them by your side, I dedicate this song to you.

Those who love Timbaland a lot, please listen to "Come Around", by Timbaland feat M.I.A.
May I warn you that the tune sounds a bit weird, and many of them who I recommended this song to, did not like it at all.
Well, depends on personal preferences but listen to it a few more times, you will definitely get hooked onto it. ;P
To UTP-ians, listen to one of the phrase when Timbaland did mention "Let's go to UTP!". I swear that was what I heard!!!
Listen to it la yeah..
On an unrelated note, I can't fit into my jeans anymore!! I need to change like 4 pairs of them!!

I seriously think it's a waste of effort trying to meet up anymore. Tired.
Anyway, FINALLY, having to meet up with Maylee, Crystal (God knows for how long since we met!), Mei Yenn, Foo Yine.
Ok-lah, things were still the same, not much changes, and as usual, we bitched about alot of things, and people. What can I say, hmm..harmless bitching is fine really. Just to do some catching up with other people's life stories..Bitching is perhaps, one of the ways to know more..
So, for the information of those Ipoh-ians who are not in Ipoh at the moment, Jusco just had some minor changes. Shops are scattered everywhere, differently now. New renovations, look more modernized lah, in a way..But still, 40 minutes kao tim finished walking everything already..so pointless with the renovation la..You know what the management should do? They should extend the building, put in more shops so that we have more time to kill in Jusco instead. Rather than having to finish strolling, in less than an hour.
Was hoping to be able to bump into certain people, but nope, Only into Kyean, Some girl, and some girls..I also malas wanna name all already la..but it was fun..having to finally go to Jusco after such a long time.
##BY the way, Nokia 3230 second hand, for sale, just at the price of RM350++. Price negotiable!

I really should get going now.
MeiLing's probably out already, heading towards the place we promised to meet.
Wakakaka..I read a few blogpages today, really,I do miss the good old days, with people whom I first met in Uni.
Alas, people just move on, they became random.
If Shiouting were to read this, she must be astonished to have me, buzzing her in MSN last night.
Well, it's really good to catch up with your friend's lives, once in a while, though it might sound queer to actually light up a conversation.
I do it once in a while, with Pinky and Benny. Though there's nothing much to talk about, it seems awkward. Not to mention XiYi, haha, and that Chong Kian, who is from Ipoh, but I never gotten a chance to meet up with him.
I did it once with TeeHooi too, being sooo random.
And Huiching, and of course, my roommate too.And Jiamin, according to her, her place in Segamat is Flood-Free this time around. Well, good for her.
I probably should do it with Carina and TzeYang, if I do see them online. Hard to catch up with them, and their *akhem* personal lives.
Any UTPians, or MGSians out there, if you are reading this, let us not be awkward, and do abit of catching up too!
2 more years to graduation, 720 more days to go..minus the holidays and semester breaks, how many will be left?
Don't do things which we will regret one day, compensate BEFORE it's toooooo late~!!

Still don't get the big hoo-hah about why people just can't leave us alone?
Realised alot of kepohs around, and they just can't let go of certain issues..well, c'mon, let go of it already. I baca also sien already..
Not like u know, any of my personal life is worthy to talk about, I am no BradPit and Angelina Jolie, just random Khian-ey (Maylee calls me that!) trying to do what's right..
Anyhoo, I was supposed to have my usual hair cut at the usual hairdresser's but when I reached there this morning, the place was booming with people. Some even resorted to standing while waiting for their turns okay..so I got pissed and went off. Quickly texted Maylee, asked her any other recommendation, which she said, "A place opposite Syuen!"..Only one, Jazzmont..so I parked my car and went in.
While having my head massage and washed, the Maylee said "No, it's not Jazzmont, it's Studio B!".
Heck, imagine me leaving halfway of the hairwash, dunno what reaction I would get, so I stayed instead.
Damn, didn't dare to say anything, in case the hair stylist got the wrong idea and thought I wanted a new hair style, so I told him, " Trim abit only, not so short"
Damn, he cut my hair, now I look like the mushroom in the Mario game. Damn pissed liao.
But he charged me RM70, inclusive of a highlight also la..oklah, colour can see abit abit la..just like the way I want it, but damn, I have "Dong Ku Tao!"
Tomorrow, don't care aledi, gonna wake up early, 9.45am, wait at the hairstylist's shop, ask the usual guy to rectify this problem. So malu wey, got family photoshoot at the studio on Boxing day somemore..mhm..

Any of you knows that I am driving this "motor-kapcai"-alike-kancil..?
Ever since the 05-05-05 incident, and I had to see my car abandoned, not being fixed at all, for almost one whole year, the engine no longer performs as well as I first drove the car.
Those who had been in it, probably would have experienced the noisy sounds the engine makes, the slight vibration you feel everytime I start the engine, the aircond not even working sometimes, and my pick-up speed is like kura-kura..and fuel consumption (for kancil!) is very high for my car in fact.
2 weeks ago, my uncle let me tried this new product he's been selling for over a month now.
He tried talking my mum into using this product as well, but my mum, being sceptical as always, declined it politely. Me, on the other hand, had nothing to lose, so took up his offer and popped the product into my car engine instead. What harm can the small can of product do? Eat up my whole car..?!!

This is what I meant. "Engine Oil Additive"
I've never heard of such things, till recently, having been introduced by my uncle and cousin. I used to think, only engine oil is being used and it's sufficient, as long as the car runs well. But nope, little did I know, everytime I service my car engine, the mechanics would use the cheap engine oils instead. Well, some of you out there, who might be driving big, expensive cars, even if they charge you high service prices, doesn't mean you are getting what your money's worth.
Unless you see them doing their work with your OWN eyes, they most likely substitute the branded engine oil which they charge you for, for something cheaper. Way much cheaper.
So, what is wrong with using CHEAP engine oil, you may ask? The car runs, and you get to use it afterall, so there's not a problem right? Hell No! People who are shallow would think that way, but people, you who love your cars, please do consider this. Cheap Engine oils would damage your car engine pistons in the long run. There will be oil dirt stuck as time goes by, and your piston's surface gets rough and would be damaged eventually. So, as time goes by, the rougher the piston's surface get, the more fuel is needed to power up your car. Let me remind you, fuel is not getting cheaper by the day, and next year, an estimation of price hike would occur for fuel!
Then, when you know the problem, how can we minimize the effect?
This is when the Omega Engine Oil Additive comes in!
Carrying their tagline, "Omega, The Ultimate Lubricant!", this product has received many praises and assurance from various parties.
OMEGA is the world's TOP 5 brand in the current market, and obviously, if you googled it, there will be lotsa information about this product.
After I used this, just within a few hours, I noticed that my engine no longer purrs like a cat with its neck tied with a string, in fact, my engine didn't really make any extra noise after that. And there was as if my car engine was modified, because as soon as I stepped on my accelerator, the pick up speed was almost instanteneous. I've yet to be able to prove to you regarding lower oil consumption, but let's see the theory side here. This OMEGA Engine Oil additive is used to protect the car pistons, which it will provide an invisible layer of protection on the pistons, so that the surface would be smooth. So, in other words, lesser fuel would be needed to power up the car.
Well, this is very good, especially if you are in this, for the long run. Imagine if your car engine breaks down, and you need to haul it all the way to the mechanics, larger sum of money would be needed to fix it. With this Omega Engine Oil additive, you can prevent such things to happen.
All you need is just to pour one can of this additive into a hot, engine, together with the cheap engine oil you use, then let your engine run for 5-10 minutes to ensure homogenity of the mixture, and voila, you are all set to go!
*Half a can for smaller engine cars (kancil, myvi, kelissa, savvy, etc). One can for bigger cars (wira, honda, merc, etc)
"Prevention is better than Cure"
Those who are interested, can leave me a comment with your contact number, and we can discuss more about this.
Or you can send me an email at angkhian87@yahoo.com and we can do something about it too!

(pops open like a can of soda! so ocnvenient!)
At the price of RM45.00, you have a better chance in keeping your car running alive, for longer period of time. Think about it for the long run..lesser fuel consumption which would help you guys to save a hell lot more.
Still feeling skeptical? Tell you what, try ONE, at least, and you will be back for more. Once, and you will feel the difference!

Picture post lah..since I've already written this entry earlier, but damn Internet Explorer got jam, and I had to shut down my browser and NO WAYY I am going to type out the entire post again.
So, there you go.

Myself and the birthday girl in front of TZ2
I got myself tipsy last night, went to TZ2 to throw a surprise birthday celebration for Maylee. Since no one's gonna be around on the 30th, we reckoned we should just do it earlier for her. Well, it's just an excuse really, for us to get together, hang out in pubs and get ourselves drunk and high!
If any of you are wondering, what's TZ2, well, urm, TZ2 stands for TimeZone2. Err, and why the '2', you may ask...Err, there used to be a TimeZone somewhere else, and they shifted to this new place, and perhaps they changed the managements, hence the number '2'!
We got there pretty early, around 9.30p.m. when there was no one in the pub except for the workers and bouncer outside. We were hoping that people would come earlier, so that they will stop playing stoopid lala songs, and the DJ can start playing some real tunes instead. It was a good thing that we went there early, and we managed to secure ourselves with tables, RIGHT UNDER THE BLARDY SPEAKER, because the entire place was fully reserved.

The small and empty stage. Just next to it, the DJ stand.
Only about 11pm, people started pouring in, the crowd grew bigger and bigger. Crystal bought her friends from ACS, and we danced along to the music. Funny how we can mix so easily with random people in dark, noisy places and feel no shame shaking our booty with them.
There was this 'uncle' (man in early 30's), dancing on his own, and he felt no shame doing so. I admire his courage but he did start the crowd dancing. He noticed us, (well, we were just next to him) and he smiled at me. Well, no harm done, clubbing is when you meet random, new people right? He wanted to buy me a drink, but no, I am not that guillable yet. I don't need anyone to buy me anything yet.
But he was real fun, we smiled, but that was it really. No small talks, not interested, I am only interested to dance to the beat!
It was really fun, and I can't remember when was the last time I really enjoyed dancing without feeling slight remorse.
It's probably the beer I took. I didn't even buy anything on my own, it was all under the guys. Oh, some random guy I met, belanja-ed, so well, it's good to get free treats. But not from the uncle lah.. I didn't really like his stupid grin, like ham sup lou..

Crystal and I, taking pictures before it gets dark and packed.

I really should do this more. With the right crowd, that is.
I kept drinking, and drinking, and drinking, and dancing, and dancing, and dancing, till they had to stop me from drinking. Hahha, but the guys, Crystal's friends, kept saying that I am pretty active. A good sign? Dancing is wayy much fun than shopping! Got myself so high man!
See, we don't need drugs to get ourselves high.

Dunno who got drunk and took this picture of me..hehe..this is how I look after my 2nd bottle of Heineken..
All we need is just good alcohol, and loud-booming music!

Cheers!!
p/s: Any of you noticed the new haircut I have??

One reason why I don't really like the aunties coming back home from overseas, is because they tend to forget their roots back home.
Keep yakking about how good is this, this and this..and everything's not nice in Malaysia. How the system is terrible here, and the weather, and bla bla blaaaabla!!
Oklah, let's face it, come to think of it, it's rather true-lah, Malaysia is still behind in terms of a lot of things, but do you really have to look down to your own country.
Well, technically, they are no longer Malaysians, but still..sigh..
Oklah, nevermind lah if they wanna kutuk Malaysia, but everytime they come back, they somehow has nothing else to say to me except, "Why you still haven't change one?"
And one of them had to ask me, "You don't like to let your hair grow??" Heck, the tone was as if I did a big crime okay..and so I did what I do best with them, I smiled and walked off. Gracefully.
Anyway, please don't cakap banyak banyak about my current look.
(Unless it's a good comment, otherwise, you can just stay on my good books!)

One thing I don't like about my aunties coming back to Malaysia, is that they seem to forget about their roots.
Everytime they come home, all they do is complain about this, this and this..but they always claim everything's nice and good over there. Heck, come on, let's be frank, Malaysia is still pretty much behind in terms of lotsa things, but there must be something back home, worth talking about.
There's family here, ya know..Just P-R-E-T-E-N-D to like this place for a couple of days, and shut your damn mouth, so that no uneasy feelings are created unnecessarily.
But fuck, they have to go ruin it all the time.
I can't even pretend I love having them back home.
And I don't know why they always pick on me. Since young. They always think I am not girl-ish enough, and they will find ways to talk bad about me.
There's always something. Like I am not girl-ly enough for them.
Well, how would they know? They only have sons in their family.
*Toot* them lah!
I was trying to 'like' them, but one of them have to go and ruin it somehow.
Like what they would always say whenever they come home, "Eh, why still the same one? Didn't change at all??.."
Eh, fuck you lah, at home I kena pressured by my mum, now you all come home, still wanna add into the pressure a?? Man, I am soooo gonna burst.!!!
Pfft.
And just now, one of them said, "You don't like to let your hair grow?..."
Eh, *toot* you lah..my hair also your problem izzit?..Go get your own daughter and boss her yourself lah!!
But I didn't reply her lah..I did what I always do best, smiled, and walked away.
Anyway, please don't cakap banyak-banyak about my new look.
(Unless it's something nice, otherwise, you would wanna remain in my good books..)

Have been pretty busy lately..catching up with old friends, making new ones..and to have the entire family to come home from all over, it could be pretty taxing actually..There have been numerous complaints about having nothing MUCH to do in Ipoh (and I've endured most of the negative comments!), but seriously, what can you expect from some place like Ipoh?
I would pretty much sum up that Ipoh is a nice place to grow up in, and a good place to settle down after retirement. (Agree, no?)
Certainly not a place to start a new career, or a place if you want to learn about surviving with the cold, harsh society. But definitely a good place, everyone can settle down and call, home.
Anyhoo, the reason why everyone's home is coz my Granddad's supposed to celebrate his 80th birthday this year, and you know how the old people is, they want Grand-grand big-big parties and you know how we are, we succumb to their wants and needs. So, we planned a "Birthday bash!" but in a chinesey dinner way..DInner was planned, 8 months back, and everyone had to make arrangements earlier, booked their flight, cleared their schedules, buy souvenirs and presents..and before you know it, the BIG day came and went so quickly that we forgot how hard it was for us to actually made sure everything goes on well..

My grandma and Grandpa. Honestly, I love them alot, whether they are both strict and abit old-fashioned. Nevertheless, this two is the only grandparents I am left with. Well, there's still a grandma on my mum's side, but she's not really my mum's mum. She's a stepmum to the family, so technically, we are not blood-related. I used to like her, but she keeps complaining and commenting on some petty things, and even said that I am not as bright as the other 'grandchildren' she has. So, since then, I've stopped liking her, and only talk to her whenever it's needed. So, I vowed to love this 2 grandparents I am left with, though my granddad can be really nasty at times. hehe...
You see the lays they're wearing on their necks? Look closely, it's actually dollar notes, folded and linked to one another. The green one is made of DOLLARS and the red one is made out of RM10 notes. Quite a good way to smuggle money out of the country, no? But it's a great gift, with abit of creativity. One way to give money to your loved ones, without actually having to give them a stack of money, but they can used it for accessories too!

Since it was Christmas, my uncle from Hawaii wanted all of the grandchildren to wear a Santa hat while singing the birthday song. Ok, my hat's abit different from the rest though. Something similar to Dr. Seuss..When my uncle showed the hat to me, I was like, "Hell..why do you enjoy embarassing us?..". He just answered my question by grinning.

Jon got the super long christmas hat, coz he's the eldest grandchild! The whole dinner could be considered ala-Hawaii coz the whole family has something over their necks!

Hahha, the leng chai is my brother..haha..nolah! Leng chai is my other cousin from London. One year younger than my brother (in red) but really, he is really good looking. If we weren't blood-related..hehhheeeeee.....
It ended pretty well, really..but with minor problems here and there. What do you expect, coz we had 10 tables, and the entire dinner caused our family about 7 grand. But what was most important is how my granddad feels about it, since he's the birthday boy. Just hopes he lives a long way, and there will be more birthday dinners..

I wouldn't be around for New Year's so probably would wanna do a lil recap about how's life, being 20..
I started the year, drinking 'Swing+Coke' and lotsa other liqour, which I have a problem to remember now. I knew a friend, whom had some troubles of her own, but we met, and we are still friends.
But, it was a great start, with no sleeping, and dimsum that very morning, and lotsa heart to heart conversations till the next afternoon. It was a great way to start a new year though.
Fast forward, had my 20th birthday 'lunch+tea' in Kopitiam Junction in Parade with a small group of friends.
How would I put it, it was a small lil celebration, but I wasn't really feeling the excitement. Can you believe it, I was practically emo throughout the whole thing, and have them to push you into the fitting room to tryout the skimpy clothes they bought for you..it added up the pressure. People were constantly reminding me that it was time to really change the way I look, wear sexily, do something with myself, forget about the stupid moronic past and just live happily..
Remember how I used to loathe 5th of May? (due to the stupid accident?..)
It had a little twist this year, with my wallet being picked from my pocket, and I lose all my important personal documents. However, I gained something in the end, or rather someone, whom I have been loving since.
Things were also not as smooth-sailing in UNi, when work started pilling up and I missed talking to friends back home. I practically left Ipoh for a few months, and no one knew where I was. Extra curricular activities took the toll of my life, and somehow, this time I wasn't complaining. In fact, things like this would be something I want to do, when I've graduated.

It was also during this year I've started to grow more closer to my other coursemates, especially the 2 people from South Africa, whom I respect dearly, which proves the point that "Colour isn't really much of a problem.." Imagine teaching them how to gamble with the Chinese and doing that in a field trip, when we were supposed to be doing something serious. It's things like this which you know you would never forget. I know I wouldn't.

Come 2nd Year of my degree, work gets more serious, people's colours seem to be more obvious. Their true colours, I mean. I've learn to be more independant, well at least if I want something to be done, my way that is. There were more field trips this time, and yes, we had to do mosque-visiting too..

We had our first 'BIG' group project with all faculties combined.

The same year I've learned that different people, have different kind of characteristics. I finally know why some people couldn't understand what I say, because I tend to mumble everytime I talk fast. The very 2nd half of the year, I grew more introvert, I excluded myself from my other friends, and stuck to a few only. And this year, I knew I made a mistake for doing so.
Being 20, going to 21, is not really as enjoying as I longed it to be. In fact, with the addition age, I am expected to act my age, with no temper, and to accept everything the older generation says. Yes, I had a fight with my parents, and my grandparents, and it was due to generation gap.
This year, I enjoyed my freedom, and trust bestowed by my parents, and I met a few new people. I learned how to accept who I am, and to come out from where I've been hiding. I've tried to correct my mistakes, and although flaws can't be eliminated thoroughly, but 2008 is still a new beginning. For me to start over, for the bad to end.
Happy New Year! (in advance!) and I would be celebrating (though I still have no idea how) in KL.
I am off to packing and shall see you Next Year.
