I wrote a very long entry about my New Year's celebration in KL, and STREAMYX was being a bitch, and everything was gone after that.
G-O-N-E!!!!

fUCK.

Anyway, I did the countdown at The Curve. There. Pissed off already.

**The connection has better to be good now, because I don't want to end up loosing my entire entry, just because the network sucks or something like that..

Anyway, for those who still hasn't know already, Shangri-La hotel serves the best buffet lunch, for me, so far. I mean, I've been to plenty of buffets, but this is the first to keep me eating for 3 hours straight, even though I had diarrheo the night before. I had 3 rounds of dessert, and I still can't finish all they had to offer. Pastries, tarts, chocolate moouse, chocolates, ice-creams, local kuihs of various kinds were lined up, and eventually, "they" find their way into my mouth. There was a chocolate fountain, with fresh fruits on sticks, waiting to be dipped into the rich, creamy chocolate fondue. Ah-ha, I had plenty of those!! Only the dessert section itself, kept me occupied for quite some time. Well, you can't blame anyone to keep going back for more, because everytime you go back, you discover something new, and tasty!

It was my first time trying the Sesame-flavoured ice-cream. (Marvellous creation..)

Then, before that, there was this Cold Storage section. With constant flow of fresh oysters, crabs, lobsters, prawns, tiger prawns, clams, mussels, all kind of shellfish, I had that the most, after desserts. Imagine that. I didn't care whether I looked like some jakun fella, eyeing on the fresh seafood, filling them onto my plate, and digging my teeth into them..I didn't care really..What was most important then, is to satisfy my hunger, and craving. Sushi, and all those normal food, I only managed to try alil bit. Didn't want to ruin my appetite in trying food like Satay, right?

Lunch was on my Aunt and the husband. Heard it was about RM100 per pax. Not really that expensive if you are paying in Pounds.

And that was the story about me, ended up in a buffet, filled. We ought to do that some time. When we really saved, and wanting to splurge. Would be a good time, but I reckoned to make reservations earlier. Crowded during the weekends with families especially.

New Year's eve was spent in The Curve, Damansara. JiaLin and I, strategized the night before, parking the car in the parking lot in the morning. In that way, we could avoid the crowd in the evening. We then walked around, took a cab home first, when her dad would fetch us to The Curve at night. Everything went as planned, and we had a nice dinner in PHOP. As usual, big portions, with a 'long' bill attached to it. After dinner, we went to meet up with Foo, Jiang and her friends in TGIF. Did a brief catching up, and managed to meet with Jiang's friends. About an hour, JiaLin and I decided to queue into the Laundry Bar, while waiting for her friends to arrive.

"Miss, if you are entering with 5 people, you have to open 1 bottle.." (pushing into my hands, what seem to be (I think) the price list)
"How much??" (malas to read the list..)
"About RM300 per bottle.."
"Hah?? Only the 2 of us, how to drink??"
"Oh, then you can come in and order 1 bucket.."

Thinking that we managed to cheat our way in, we entered the club, to find ourselves a place to seat. The place was already full then. Getting served was even harder than getting seats for ourselves. None of them would wanna serve buckets of beers to us, instead, they kept insisting on us opening a bottle. Like Wth, How can we, 2 girls, even finish half of the bottle ourselves, right?

I didn't want to leave actually, I was even dancing to the beat of songs. There were 3 rooms, with 3 different DJs, with 3 different kinds of music. I wasn't able to leave the place yet! But it was pointless to stick around, especially when you look like an idiot, wandering nowhere, so we took the high road-we left. We ended up opposite Laundry bar, [Empress Cafe], ordered ourselves a bucket of Heineken [RM88.00], while waiting for her friends to show up. Her friends did show up, did alil self-introductory, and we moved outside to wait for the fireworks.

The Curve's fireworks was late for about 10 minutes. Many started to do their own countdown, every single minute, while the rest roared at the sight of the first light. Hands and hands rose up, with their digital cameras+phones, hoping to record the fireworks. I was one of them. However, people not only watch the fireworks, but also sprayed "fake SnowFlakes" which resulted me, having difficulty to breathe and had to leave early before the show ended.

I thought by leaving as soon as the fireworks ended would lead me home, straight. But no, I was trapped in the carpark for almost 2 hours, and only reaching JiaLin's place, another 2 hours later. All in total of 4 hours before we reached home, when the house is only 10-minutes drive away. If it wasn't because I was a great racer, I would've still be stuck there till the next morning.

The next day was spent in, the whole day. I couldn't bring myself to wake up, though I had 12 hours of sleep. Hehhe, I, however, managed to meet up with my cousin, Gillian, and her friends whom I promised to meet, months earlier, at night. Before that, also accompanied JiaLin to meet up with her friends as well. Again, new friends were made.

That pretty much sums up about how I spend my New Year's. Knowing new people.
I didn't get drunk. I didn't puff a single butt.(though I was much tempted to)
I got high, my own way.

Abit too late, but Happy Ushering 2008. Bad year for Rabbits I heard. Aww, poor Bugs Bunny.......

Never ever tell someone that he/she is " 没家教.. " or if you don't understand Chinese, that would be "Kurang Ajar.." in Bahasa..or better still, in English, it would be " Parents didn't teach.."

I always think it's wrong to say that he/she "没家教.." (direct translation: 'mou ka gao'). Not only you offend the people you said this to, but also indirectly telling everyone that his/her parents didn't teach her anything at all.
Heck! Different families have different kind of teachings and rules. If you can't adapt to the family's teaching, then just let it go. How can you comment on how they brought up their children, how their children act..??
And "没家教.." is a very strong comment, and very rude one too!

Before anyone going around saying such mean things about people's children, probably to those who have their own family should look into theirs first. Look at how your children are being brought up, whether they like you or not, whether they are acting as a family or not..
Even successful businessmen who we assumed to have everything, potrays a happy family in the public, doesn't mean they are really that happy. Think about it, behind your house doors, how much conflict a family has, solve your problems first, before going around, talking and commenting about other people's family and children.

Just because you think you are right, doesn't mean you are right all the time.
Down to it, we are all humans and who are we to say "Eh, you and you, 没家教!!.."
We have our own mistakes at least once in our lifetime,  so suck it up, correct them, and move on.

Worried about your weight, or rather your waist-line..??
No longer able to fit into your old pair of jeans, or into your 1-month-old polo tee which you've just purchased not long ago?

If you think you are the only one facing this problem,..well, you are absolutely wrong!
In fact, I am one big, fat living example that has the same problem, and am at the verge of going for liposuction soon!
Mum has not allowed me to snack in between meals, and portion has been getting smaller and smaller, soon, I believe, I won't be eating anything anymore!..
And I know the problem too! Coz it scares the hell outta me that I no longer can fit into my jeans and shirts, my sleeves bursting everytime I force myself into them, and the pants can no longer be zipped with me in it..
(Yeah, the situation is thattttt bad..)

Rather than giving up and shop for new clothes, I decided to search some info online, checking out stories and information about successful diets. Well, I stumbled upon this page, which did enlighten me.

I've thought of exercising in gyms, but the thought of having to grow muscles then not being able to maintain it later, made me worried, coz my size would be twice as big as now. I was so desperate that I thought of buying the electronic machines, uZap etc, to get the body shape I want, but my savings wouldn't permit. Popping pills was also one of my solution, but who am I kidding, I don't even have the guts to kill myself slowly.
I can't cut down the portion of food I have now, because simply, Malaysia is a food haven, and I am not gonna sacrifice that. Till I saw this page. This is not your ordinary weight loss program, in fact, I am sure, this website works wonders!

The author had written about his experience on how to get back the body shape you once had before, or even better! You don't have to diet that much, and still manage to keep yourself fit! I've read through the webpage, and the author did sound very certain about the book being able to help any of us to lose weight.
Well, when you are at the verge of being overweight, anything is possible to work! Give it a try!

I've had the most tiring+interesting day of my life today.

Imagine having to entertain 16 Hongkie, with your 3 other MALE friends. Picture that. Ok, Males are basically dumbass not-so-smart, and you can probably imagine me, running around the whole day, making decisions. Can you picture that?!

Anyway, I was just being mean lah. I've my equal share of fun today, with the companionship of 3 hunky seniors. Ooo, make that 4!

P/s: Psst..HongKong girls can be realllllllyyyyyy HAWT!! *hoot-hoot!!* HOT, baby! Hot!!

iTunes: Love is Free, by Sheryl Crow.

I totally dropped dead today, and Sunday just passed by without me, in it. I was in bed, with the fan on full speed, trying to sleep my migraine away.
The pain is still there. Pills wouldn't work. Fuck. I think I am going to try menstrual instead. They say menstrual doesn't work accordingly, but rather, they cure headaches. How ironic. Some even said Panadol never works. Probably.

iTunes: SOS, by Jonas Brothers.

You can probably guessed how slow I am, typing today. Songs played by very quickly. Mum thinks my headache is due to me sleeping near to the computer, when it's powered on. And my handphone. (Psst..I managed to slipped the little information about me having late-nights phone conversation, but, she can do without that piece of news). I used to think she said those things to scare my brother, but I am seriously, beginning to think she might be correct. (I hate thinking that she's right, for once!!) But my computer needs to be on, for quite some time. I am doing something G-R-E-A-T with it..(like that's right!), but still, you can't expect me to be AWAY from it, right.
I don't know-lah, if this continue, I am seeking professional advice tomorrow. Professional= Doctor lah. There goes my money to see him. Probably a Chiropractor(spelling may vary from the actual one) coz of my backache. I feel old, really. Backache at this age. Was thinking about looking for ChehShing, asking her whether her dad would be able to help me instead. Can't see her online in MSN though. Exams, I reckoned.

iTunes: Year 3000, by Jonas Brothers.

One more week and I would be heading back to Tronoh. Albeit the short distance, but still, I will be away from home. Oh, wait..it wouldn't be a bad idea afterall. I can eat anytime and anything I want to, then. But no, Rtn Arthur did drop a comment about me, gaining weight yesterday. Shit!.I really need to stay home and starve myself. Darn.

iTunes: Bruised, by Jack's Mannequin.

About yesterday, we dropped by Kellie's Castle, brought the 'tourists' around. It was however my first time going there, after such a long time. I remembered I dropped by once, when I was about the height till my dad's knees. I am pretty sure the tour guide there have added some spice to the Kellie's story now, coz I certainly don't remember having to see Kellie's image carved on the pillar. I would post the image, but it's freaky. I think better not.

We were on the rooftop of the castle, everyone doing their own stuffs, and I can tell you, this bunch is camwhores okay. They take 5 minutes to arrange themselves in positions just for ONE picture. It was kinda funny how many pictures were taken when they were in UTP, but that's an inside joke.

Chester and Kong, risking their lives to show us what-not-to-do at high altitudes.

Planned to visit the Sam Poh Toong, but closed. Then adjourned to Perak Toong, also closed. It was raining, probably the bats wanted the cave to shelter from the rain, but then again, I wasn't that keen to bring them visit such boring places. Imagine having 4 cars convoy together, and it was hard for the rest to catch up with my car..(buahahaha!). Aih..

iTunes: Ain't No Mountain High Enough, by Diana, Mariah, Donna, Faith.

Tour spots sudah tutup, apa lagi, do what Ipoh-ians enjoy doing. MAKAN time!!
Bean sprouts, Chicken, Chicken feet, Fishballs, Gizzards, here we come!! The favourite place of all time: Onn Kee Restaurant.
Contary to popular beliefs, Lou Wong serves the best nga choi kai, but I personally think Onn Kee is the best.

I can't seem to get their names right. But I will try. Cherry. Queena and..urm...what'shername..Fuck! How can I forget her name.!!( I will remember!!soon..)

11 girls from HongKong University, 5 guys..Swt! I can't really remember who's who. But all, ALL of them were very nice. I can tell that they were generally pretty nice people, not some people who pretends to be nice. I can tell. Yeap, it was my mistake to not join them in KL for 3 days, but I just came home. My atm says it's not the right time to spend, coz the credit is reaching ZERO fast.

We took pictures in front of Onn Kee Restaurant.

More pictures actually, but have to wait for them to send back.

The night ended with us, watching movie, had tong sui and them heading back to UTP, while I stayed back in Ipoh. What a great day it was, indeed. No disappointments, No regrets.

Well, not bad. 25 songs have been played throughout this entry. Not bad indeed. Indeed a slow writer today.

I am in a slight pissed off mood, right now.

Breach of privacy. A matter of trust. And darn, UTP management to be so stoopid, having their system to be hacked, so easily.
Either we train pretty good hackers, or the system is really lack of security.

Eitherway, I am not looking forward to going back to UTP. Maybe because I still don't know how to deal with people. Or simply I am still as naive as ever.

I really need to consider the people whom I am expected to call "Friends". I just realized we don't really know one another.

I guess my EQ level is pretty much lower than I expected.

What a way to think of Year 2008. It doesn't really matters now.

*toot-toot*, *toot-toot*, *toot-toot*,.....(well, technically my phone is ALWAYS on silent mode, but you get the picture..)

*picked the phone up, saw the caller id, must be someone from abroad-weird number*

Following will be our conversation. PC=Peichie, Me=Me -lah!!

Me= Hello...?
PC= EH!
Me= Hello, Hello...Who's this..??
PC= Hey! Guess who..
Me= Errrr...who lah...
PC= Guess...
Me= (tulan mode) Tell lah, tell lah...
PC= PeiChie ah!!
Me= Huh?? Ohhhhhh...Peichie...how are you doing??
PC= I am fine..using the office number to call you...how are you doing? Saw your MSN nick, so emo..that's why I called you lah..
Me= Huh?? You online meh??? Didn't see you one..You okay ma..how's Germany...

The following conversation ALL censored. But my point is..I've about 50 people online in my contact list last night, but none of them reacted to my [EMO] state. Ok, there was Benny..urm..JiaLin, Yeesan,Jiang...but other than that, no one really bothers about you and the state you are in.
Anyway, it was err..rather touching that Peichie called all the way from Germany..it shows that somewhere around the world, someone's missing you.
Those who are away from home, away from their loved ones, you will know what I mean.

Driving alone, with no sense of direction, can be really interesting. Despite the frequent warnings of the fuel price (by dad, of course!), I still love driving, looking around what the city has to offer. It's like how some people enjoy looking at the world from the lens of their cameras, I enjoy doing so, from the windows of my car.

What would you do to relieve stress? Smoke? Or drink? Or do you excercise like there's no tomorrow?

A great night with my cousin and aunt. Though the big age gap, but it wouldn't matter, really, when you need some distractions badly. Take things off my mind for a second.
I am growing a beer belly, I think. No longer can zip my pants. Time to scream?

Old song, but still leads someone to deep thoughts..:S

I wonder if anyone did change..

Even after 4 years from high school, I reckon we barely changed. At least, we didn't change drastically. KarMun is still..erm, Karmun.. . Michelle is still the one I always disturb..Hoiwan..urm..Hoiwan is still the one always disturbing me...and EuQueen..well, we always meet..so..
No one did change drastically..

Hoiwan did mention that none of the 5Science1 students used to be nerdy..well, almost none...heck! make mental note, to wear my contacts if I do meet up with them in the near future..hehe..

Here's a better shot! --without Hoiwan ma..hehe..Joking lah...

So, the plan was to meet up with Karmun ONLY, since I know she's the only one who's still around. Ended up we called the noisiest bunch in 5s1. Ok, wait..PuiYeen, Dai, Lydia weren't there. So technically, we aren't the noisiest bunch lah! Omfg, I just noticed, the picture above..Erm, I was surrounded by 3 prefects!! Lol..
Aah, usually, Yeesan will always be around, but not this time. We even planned what to do during Chinese New Year's gathering, but no Yeesan..haha..

It was my first time in Breeze Cafe. Heard about it sooooo many times, but never really stepped into it. So, it was my first time. Apparently there are games which you can ask from the waiters, such as Jenga(the cheap version-China brand one!), Poker cards, some board games which were in Chinese, and not all of us knew how to play..etc.

It was ladies night, so we got a Jug of Skool-driver (that was how the waitress pronounced it) which I found, hilarious. A milder version of Screwdriver I supposed, and certainly it was! One whole jug of orange juice, but only (ONLY, I guess) a few drops of vodka. I couldn't even taste the vodka okay..So, free Skool-driver for us. Paiseh, we ordered a plate of french fries to go with it.

The drinks didn't last long, (obviously!), so we tried to browse the menu, looking for something good to drink. And then!!, And then!! we saw this thing..err..brocheure (whatever the spelling is!) and they are giving a free Heineken bottle opener for every bucket we order. There were 5 of us, and one bucket has 5 bottles, so I coax them into having Heineken. After much persuassion, we did order the bucket. But the story wasn't that short lah, to summarize it, I got the bottle opener la..Limited edition one..HAHAHA!!

Tilt your head yo!

The bottle opener lies in the small minature Heineken bottle. If you look closer, you can see the bottle with musical instruments printed on it.

Chio boh?? Chio boh?? (ok, wrong imitation of Hokkien!) but you've gotta love that right??so err..classy lah..

One bucket only RM48.00. That day, they really hiked the price, for bucket of 5, they wanted us to pay RM88.00. damn cilakak one lah.! Somemore no give the opener..!! Aaaargh!!

Only ONE bottle already like that..Cis~

Anyway, we are gonna meet up again this Friday, for a movie, AT night.
So, those who wanna join us, can probably give me, Karmun, OR, Michelle Lee a call, so that we can purchase tickets for you..

Just another day before I pack my bags and head back to the quiet, surreal town.

(I know, I know, some of you might say, "It's about time..!"

Heck! Not my problem if UTP happens to have the most and the longest holidays. Not that I have a problem with that, so lagilah I won't comment banyak-banyak. Well, this goodbye doesn't last long, because barely 2 weeks, I will be coming home again, coz it's the annual income time again!
(Angpows lah, doink!)

So, right now, it's back to my crib. And to mingle around with people whom we pretend to like one another.

Back to the place where we bury our heads in the books(like err..duh!), where I have to stop downloading movies and series and songs and all that kind of junk which occupies my free-time(or sometimes, the time I am supposed to do my work) from DC++, where the day begins at 11pm, where people calls it a night at 3am, where I am supposed to graduate at the year 2010.

Hopefully this semester with more field trips to come, less misunderstandings and bitchings done. More time to spend with my coursemates, housemates and friends. Hopefully a "Jalan-jalan cari Makan" group, which NOT only makan the same thing over and over again.

Foresee a hectic semester this time around, though the minimum credit hours this semester, but still, I foresee a heavy workload ahead.
Less fooling around, more time for assignments and projects instead. (*fingers crossed*)

Chinese New Year around the corner. Wonder whether we will have our usual "OpenTable" session, with alcohol.

I believe that's gonna happen, since Cres, Carina and Pau developed a case of ChorDaiDee every night before they go to sleep. Aah!

With one gone this semester.

A new semester to adapt to new surroundings. New challenges ahead. New courses available.

Everyone's changing, not sure whether it's for the better or for the worst, but nothing's gonna change what we had, once.
Just a matter of choice whether we choose to rekindle the feeling, or to move on, insisting to erase what was carved before.

"GoodLuck, July '05! SecondYearSecondSem, yay! Bring it on!"
能够开开心心就好啦!!

Damn, last night I couldn't sleep, knowing that I have to go back to UTP already.

So, I did what I was supposed to do, but took a U-turn and came home instead. I dropped my luggage, cleaned the room, and then went all the way back home.
Pathetic, I know, but what to do, I am so used to the comfort at home.

Another reason is coz my dad's been coughing badly since 2 nights ago. I am abit scared actually. The last time he coughed this way, he ended up in the hospital, to find out that his lungs had water in it. So, I am alil worried, spending time with him as long as I can.
In 2 weeks time, gonna be his birthday. Coming home again for the weekend to celebrate with him. Will do anything for my parents, just so lil time to spend with them now. Their hairs are greying, thinning, and their hearing is getting worst.

Aah, typing this made my eyes wet. Can't believe I used to hate them for being overprotective. So dumbass.

Meeting up with Karmun tonight. Yumcha for the last time, I think..Hahha..

My other fear, (besides the birds), is being alone in the dark.

When you are forced to sit alone in the dark, your mind plays tricks on you. You tend to think about loadsa stuffs which you chose to not remember.
The random insects which come out at night, tend to hunt for exposed skin to bite on. Mosquitoes can be quite pest, especially in the dark.

Tonight is the 5th time the electricity break down ever since I came home in November '07.
I am beginning to think my dad did not pay the bill, but the whole stretch of houses could not be doing the same thing too.
Or even the whole area. Up to Pengkalan. Certainly not possible.

What's TNB up to now? The electricity better not play any tricks now, I don't wanna lose my entire entry because of the incompetence of TNB workers.
No offence to the people whom I know, working in TNB. I am just so sick of the dark.

Flashed back 2 hours ago, before the dark.
Karmun called to go Yumcha with TatWoon and EuQueen. In STARBUCKS worr..Of all places.
Starbucks has been sucking my money ever since they decided to open a franchise branch in Ipoh Parade. Money sucking coffee company.
Always tipu me yang naive dan innocent.
I ought to be given at least ONE lot of STARBUCKS shares okay..I've been funding them so much already!

So, I erased the original idea, and brought them to my FAVOURITE (note the capitals) place of all time.
OLDTOWN kopitiam in Greentown.
I know, at this point, I ought to be getting alot of dagger stares, but certainly, it's wayyyyyy cheaper than Starbucks okay..

Anyway, since I know WeiJin's back, decided to call along, since everyone who's there, were from Maziah too.

Karmun and EuQueen were probably the noisiest there. So embarassing.
Karmun forced all of us to take MULTIPLE shots because her face looks distorted in the pictures.
Guess what happened to our cheekbones after the yumcha session???

Muscle cramp okay!!

From left to right: WeiJin, TatWoon, Karmun, Me, EuQueen.

Psst..I am going to tell you a secret. Among the pictures, there's one I like most.

Damn!

Barely 2 days away from home, and I've gotten Homesick. Took the high road, drove all the way back home at 9, at night. I must be silly to do so, considering the roads are still under construction and there's no, NO street lights along the way. It takes ones' guts to actually consider driving home at night.
But anyway, I am home now, and am glad that I didn't hesitate, even a second to drive home.

In 2 days, I was up North, in Penang. My 2nd visit in just one month, and am beginning to dislike Penang food. Getting sienz liao!
Anyhoo, in my first visit with my family, I stayed in Evergreen Laurel Hotel, Gurney. My 2nd however, was in GoodHope Inn, located just behind Evergreen Laurel Hotel. Downgraded liaoz..hehe..

I've nothing much to write about. Pictures only lah..

Famous TeoChew Cendol near the Central Market. Don't know what lorong.. This bowl of Cendol cost me RM1.50.

Oklah,..not that nice also..Don't know why so many famous actors and actress like to go there..The downside of it, because the redbean too lembik liao..plus I've always preferred my Cendul with nasi pulut in it, but this place takde sell..So, no star rating la..Tomorrow I want to go to the Cendol stall, located at the roadside near "Beng Yi Gong" (Ipoh) coz there, the uncle knows I like nasi pulut in my Cendol. Only RM2.10, and I become a happy person. Ok mar..! Worth it..

Me posing with my bowl of Cendol, hoping that the tuan punya stall would frame my picture up and put in the caption, "LengLui was here for Cendol before!"
But, cis~ the tuan punya, no eyesight ('ngan kong'), didn't look at me at all..

Penang is also famous for its CheeCheongFun. Not the ordinary mushroom sauce you can get anywhere in your town, but CheeCheongFun here is served with Sweet Prawn Thick Sauce ('Ha Gou'). And no Preserved Green Chilli in Penang. Weird lah, but damn nice okay the CheeCheongFun in Penang. One of the must-haves if you are in the Island.

Photo not that nice lah..coz after I take a couple of bites only I remembered to take pictures of the food. I was told I am not suitable to become a Flogger(Food Blogger) because I always forget about my audience. Always see nice food, straightaway mouth open first, brain dunno go where already.

Another one is Kuey Theo Theng, means noodles in soup lah..Delicious soup base, but this dish, only good in this shop, located in Lorong Selamat, Jalan Macalister.
Only this one is good lah, the rest not so lah...or I've yet to discover that stall yet. Anyone knows please tell me..

Daging khinzir yang kental dan rangup. The fishball hor..can used to play pingpong (got watch Stephen Chow's movie not???)..Soup base sweet lah..think got alil MSG lah..but still okay lah...

But the best in Penang is still this...

Ais Kacang. This one is my favourite coz the instead of the usual Gula Melaka or red syrup, this ones a Sarsi Syrup.
Won't tell you what's inside, but you can probably visualize it on your own.

Oklah, that's about it from an Ipoh Girl about Penang food lah..
Deng..excuse me for talking in such a "lala" mode..spend too much time up North liao...

I don't know about you, but I find books on racks these days, can be pretty expensive.

A decent book in MPH can easily 'rob' at least RM50.00 from you. Well, robbing is a pretty harsh word, considering some of you wouldn't mind paying that much to read. But some people like me, would rather spend the money for something else instead. Afterall, it's just some fictional stories, probably the same over and over again. Thus, resulting in me, not having to read much ever since money is a problem.

Or some of you out there, who loves reading a lot, but has no more space in the bookshelf to store your books..?
Mum constantly nagging to stop buying anymore books, or she threatens to throw them out from the room??

Ebooks can be just the solution for you!!
booksonboard.com offers the broadest selection possible, with agressive pricing. They currently over 190,000 ebooks from major publishers and small publishing house.
This means, if you want to read any books, you just have to browse through the website, find your desired title, paid a small sum of money (as low as $9.99), and your ebook would be send to you.
Wait, the books are either in Adobe pdf form, Mobipocket, Microsoft Reader and Palm/eReader format. So many ways for you to choose from! So convenient!

Now you can just read when you are in the subway, or when you are in the toilet! Or anywhere you want! Just from your computer, notebook or palm.

Psst..you can even get Webster's Pocket Dictionary into your Video Ipod and Nano too!! No need to carry phonebook's-sized dictionary here and there anymore..

What you waiting for??

Try Great Discovery: $ 8 Zenni Optical Rx Eyeglassess today and be amazed with what you can do online..

How many of you out there have a thing for glasses?
Like you would spend a bundle to have a brand new pair, every year, or like someone I know, who changes her glasses every 6 months.
-Not that her vision has a problem, is because like some girls who loves buying shoes; she loves buying glasses..

I love changing my glasses too. The problem is I don't have that much cash. My eye-power is quite high so the lens are quite thick. And you know-lah, the thicker the lens are, the more money you need to spend to make it thin, to avoid looking like a N-E-R-D.
Believe me, I've tried Contact lenses, but coz my eyes are freaking sepet, I have to put on my glasses to avoid any unnecessary attention (and laughters!)

With this page
, users can view all the kinds of glasses with different shapes and designs, just by the click of the mouse. There's no need to visit the optical shops anymore, because ZenniOptical offers a huge variety of frames, with single vision lens, sunsensor (potochromic)lens, tinted suglasses lens, bifocal lens and progressive lens.

And the prices are reasonably cheap. Dirt cheap! And the secret to their cheap-ness(if that's the correct way of saying this) is because they deal with the customers directly, and there's no middlemen, and no expensive advertisement. So, you get the lower price, for the glasses you desire.

Don't say "Cheap things no Good, Good things no cheap", because ZenniOptical's eyeglasses orders have

    • High quality stylish frame

    • Thin and Light  1.57 index lens

    • Anti Scratch Coating

    • Full UV Protection

    • Lens edge polishing and beveling

    • Quality Hard Eyeglass case

    • Microfiber Lens Cleaning Cloth

    • Full Guarantee

Read also don't believe right?? Go there to find out lah.!!
Smart users will always stretch their dollar, so don't give extra money to middlemen anymore..hehehe...

According to statistics, most people died of heart attack early in the morning.

So, to you, I may sound stupid, but for me, every morning, I will make sure the first thing I see in the morning, are my parents. Especially dad. Even when I am in Uni, I will make a point to text dad or call mum once in a while, to make sure they are still healthy and alive.

I started to be paranoid about this, ever since Dad got admitted into the hospital because he complained of chest pains. He coughed so badly, and was admitted due to his lungs were filled with water. The doctor also found out something about him. My dad has a weak heart, which means, the heart can stop beating anytime.

Can you understand how I feel now? To know that he could be gone anytime. But there's nothing I can do to help him, because he was born with the weak heart. Even my granddad was admitted 4 months ago, due to the sudden mild Heart Attack he had.

Hence, my mum forbids us to eat oily and high cholesterol food. (But I never listen..hehe), which is a bad thing to do. She's afraid that either me or my bro would have inherited the heart problem. Honestly, I don't really value my life much, for me, I can leave this world anytime, but I wouldn't want to see my parents go so soon. I need to spend more time with them, before it's too late.

Go to the website. There, you can learn more about heart problems and the sudden cardiac arrest. From the website, you would be able to watch a short clip about Sudden Cardiac Arrest, and a short clip about your heart. Read about the patient stories and how they cope with this problem.

Prevention is always better than Cure. Love thy family and yourself too. Love your heart, especially.

I don't know about you, but lately, my bank account is showing signs that it's running out of cash. In other words, I am running out of money. And this kinda situation is not good-lah, especially when it's the Year End sales is on progress now. Damn, imagine seeing the pair of Nikes but you can't get your hands on it, because the ATM refuses to let you withdraw any money from it.

I wonder if any of you have such problems too? Like right now, or before?

Or if you are in need of emergency cash, for instance, one of your family members is admitted into the hospital and you need to pay a large sum of hospital fees and obviously, such problems you can't foresee thus you have no extra cash in hand.
Or maybe you just experienced a car accident and you need the extra money to fix your car?
Or maybe you asked for loan in your local friendly banks, but you got turned down, due to bad credit or maybe they doubt you can pay back after that?

Fret no more, because the solution is here!

payday loans offers you up to $1500 on the same day, and guess what, you can pay later with a fixed, low interest fees!
And you can do everything just by a click of mouse. Get all the deal signed up through online application. There's no application fees needed and all you need is just to provide them your proof of employment and monthly income and they will send you the faxless cash advance.

From this website, there will be links to different sites which offers different kind of cash advance, totally suits your needs! Check it out!!

A day/night out with COURSEMATES.

Alil surprised? With me constant sighing and whining about the state I was in, now we are all out together? Actually they are not that bad afterall. I mean, we do come to our ups and downs, like we do bitch around at times, but I guess, after a long break, things are all cleared up by now. I mean, it's Year 2008, a fresh start, a new semester. I reckoned there's no point of us dwelling in the past, right?

So, we were supposed to have 2 lectures on Tuesday, and right after the last one, we sped off to Ipoh at 2.30pm. Almost all the Chinese in the group went, but one was left out. Anyway, we had an awesome time really, since Yew Teng has came by. Everything's abit better now I guess. He's like a JiMui to us. Although there was no getting drunk and drown ourselves with alcohol, I have to admit that we sorta had a good time.

Come to think of it, I think the Civilians do not drink at all. The only time, was when we were in the Concrete Field trip in Kelantan, but not everyone of them drinks. One small bottle of Heineken and that was it. Nothing more to go in their throats. Aah! Eewan, you are in heaven lah! Friends who drown themselves in shots!

We managed to watch "In The Name of King" and till this point, why are there NINJAs at that time?? Imported from Japan kah?

After that, Keehui, Josh, and BoonHow(alien from Chemical.E) left first, while the rest: Kenneth, YewTeng,Shiouting,Teehooi and mua stayed behind. It was a funny sight observing ShiouTing buying her comforters and bedsheet. Kesian the sales person lah! For supper, it was to Stadium. Not much variety of food, but heck! I don't know where to bring them anymore. (I also tak biasa come out at night oneeee....*wink!*)

No pictures for yesterday. Coz we forgotten to snap. Damn. Nevermind, hopefully, HOPEFULLY the peace stays for long and we can do that some other time.

Oh, today's a public holiday for THAIPUSAM. Means another round to Ipoh again later in the day, and aih, I can't go home...

Everytime I told my parents that I will be travelling around the country, mum will ALWAYS say that girls should not roam around so freely. Girls have to stay at home, do all the housechores and whatsoever girl-y stuffs, behind doors. I resent to that statement! How can modern girls stay in, when the world is our oysters? At this young age especially, it's better for us to travel around the world and see what it unfolds. Well, especially now when we are in a country with nothing much to offer, it's better for us to seek what's better outside..

So, when you travel, you would need a place to stay right?
Hotel Reservations can be made so easily nowadays where there's Internet. You can log onto the website before leaving off to your designated destination and be ensure that there's a comfortable room waiting for you. Via this website, you can view and book any hotels from the whole world. You will also be given special promotions and price offers, special discounts!!

So, next time, before you go travelling, don't forget to check out the website and see where you can sleep, safely and in comfort..

A little insight on UTP, or rather its management.

As I've probably mentioned before, the campus has 5 parts of hostels, which we named them 'Villages'. So, there're 5 villages: V1,V2,V3,V4 and V5. There's another abandoned village, so it's unnecessary to bring it up, but it's called Old V5. So, in each village, there will be a residential office, governed by One person. These "One" person, we call them 'Fellow'.

Ok, now that we've gotten the terms, I shall let you know about this one incident which involved me and this 'Fellow' from V5.

So, last night, my socket switch got burnt, and it's not functioning now. I can't use the plug to turn my computer on, I can't even charge my phone, and all I wanted to do was just to switch my printer on to print my lecture notes last night. But I guess the thing was overloaded, since the whole house's computers were on, and gawd knows what these people do in their rooms. So, the point is my socket switch cannot be used-lah!

And you probably can imagine how inconvenient without the socket switch. I can't do anything, and I seriously need my computer on like 16 hours in my daily life. Hence, I forced myself to walk to the office, under the scorching morning sun, and reported the damage. The students are supposed to report the damages in their rooms in a log book, and I assumed they just go back to their rooms and wait for the damages to be fixed.

I, on the other hand, cannot wait more than a day. So, after reporting, I walked to the 'Fellow' and asked him about the problem. Now, the senario is he was chatting there, with 3 other people, about the recent break-ins in the campus. During the semester break, all the cupboards with padlocks are being broken in, and things were obviously stolen-lah. Anyway, the conversation details I will go into them later.
So, the 'Fellow' and I had the following conversation:

Me: Mr.Mior ya? Saya nak tanya pasal socket switch kat bilik saya..
Fellow: You sudah report dalam buku ke? (he didn't even look at me, and showed me his muka masam face)
Me: Ya, saya sudah report..
Fellow: Aah, lepas tu balik tunggu contractor datang..
Me: Oh ya ke?? Nak tunggu sampai bila?? Kalau dia datang masa saya kat kelas, camne?
Fellow: Dia akan tinggal note kat luar bilik, pastu u call dia balik lah..

And all this while, he didn't even look at me, and he sorta showed me a disgusted look, like I was disturbing his work like that!
Fucker lah, I talked to him in a nice tone okay, siap calling him Mr.Mior..I felt like slapping him just now, but I walked away lah..Entah if I slap him, he ask me to move out pula..

Then TeeHooi told me that we shouldn't talk to him in a nice tone. In fact, we should fight fire with fire, and showed him our muka masam first. She did that once, and it worked. He seemed to be afraid. Now I learn a lesson already, should just give him my middle finger before I say anything.

Now, I am thinking of asking an Electrician from outside to come and fix it instead. God knows how long will they take to fix my socket plug lah.

If you happen to be in Puerto Rico, get yourself a Puerto Rico phone card and make cheap and affordable long distance phone calls.
It doesn't matter if you are not in Puerto Rico, because 3longdistance offers a wide range of Calling cards which you would be able to purchase them online, and make reasonably priced phone calls. I know I've been writing about phone cards which allows you to call without burning a hole in your wallet, but 3longdistance is not any different from the rest.
This online phone company has so many types of phone cards that you would be able to make Long distance and International calls anytime you want to! No more for you to wait till its midnight before you make that call, because right now, with 3longdistance's phone cards, you can call your loved ones anytime of the day.

Distance is no longer a problem, when your loved one is just a phone call away..

I know my blog's been getting random comments lately. Mostly they are about my paid posts, and something about my blogpage losing its touch.

Well, I've to agree that this blog is no longer personal. Not only it's about my rantings and complainings, but also with entries which can earn me a decent ringgit to save them up. Sometimes, some of you might think that I am getting money-crazy, constantly writing paid posts and promoting the OMEGA engine oil additive, as if I am desperate in generating more money.

WHO IN THE WORLD THINKS THAT MONEY IS ENOUGH FOR HIM/HER??

Even Lee Ka Seng (HK's tycoon) did not stop driving money into his bank account ever since he got rich okay? And why should I stop?

I don't really give a damn about people who gives negative comments about my blogpage anyway. You come, you read whatever you like to, and stop giving me negative comments;online or offline. At least I am 'working' part time by writing something in my blogpage. Although I don't really earn much from blogging, but at least, you can't say I am wasting my time now.

It's either you can stop coming, because my blogpage is not really worthy to be read anymore. No one leaves good positive, inspiring comments anyway.

On an unrelated note, shouldn't cultivate the habit to gamble. It cost me RM12.50 tonight.

I may sound stupid, but seriously my "Gingko Pillow" works!

For the past 3 days of me being here in UTP, I didn't even get to sleep much. The whole night would be spend to toss and turn, while waiting for the first glimpse of dawn. I knew something had to be done, so I thought why not get myself a new pillow since Jusco's having its annual sales. I was torn apart between a 'Feather Pillow' and a 'Gingko Pillow'.

The salesman told me that 'Gingko Pillow' has a scent to it, and it helps to a good night sleep.

And the choice was obvious. Since then, there wasn't a day I woke up to, being fresh. A good start to a day! Well, a RM39.95 well spent!

Yet another 'out-of-the-blue' hangout that none of us would have thought of going.
But what happens in the club, stays in the club.
No tattling about what happened in between, before and after the drinks start kicking in.

If you are wondering about us, getting drenched in sweat, danced our way to being 'high', get drunk with alcohol; you are probably 50% right.

Now, keep guessing what happened in RumJungle, The Lost of World of Tambun.

Nonetheless, it was a great night out, with the girls. After such a long time of being engrossed with our own lives, tonight, was just a way of reminding ourselves that it's nice to leave the reality out, and dance our souls out!

Madness--that's what u can say about the New Year shopping.

Everyone's practically (still) in a holiday mood, no one's eager to touch the books yet.
Poker cards are our favourite past time now. Money's always leaving me.

Moral of the story: Wear Red underwear before you go for a card game. Not sure whether it works though, but at least you've tried.

I can't believe the internet is freaking slow these days. Even my streamyx okay? I need to watch this series, with youtube, but after 30 minutes of streaming, it barely moved. Apa nak buat ni? No internet in UTP, even the one in Ipoh also like that..

I am not supposed to be at home this weekend. Planned to be in KL for CNY shopping, as well as to celebrate dad's 50th birthday.
But dad woke up on Saturday morning, feeling sick, so the plan was cancelled. Not that I am angry or disappointed, but more like I am worried about his health.
He's not showing any sign of recovering, but all I can do is just spend more time with him.

I didn't plan to go out this weekend, even when I am in Ipoh, I don't generally come out to Jusco.
Ask the people who are in Jusco, sometimes, when we are home, we don't even visit the shopping malls, sometimes for a month, or two.

But I received a call in the afternoon, asking me for help to lead the way to some place which I can't even give the directions to.
So, I went out with them, and led the way-lah.
"Buat baik berpada-pada, buat jahat jangan sekali"

Whoever taught this to their children, please, stop. It doesn't work that way anymore. Because I had my own experience yesterday, which caused a hell lot of misunderstanding and apologies.
and you know what, sometimes I can't help but feel tired of apologizing all the time. It's time for me to get mad and ignorant for once.

You know you are drunk when you..

  • need an 8-year-old cousin to hold your hand and lead you to the washroom.
  • on the way to the washroom, you suddenly drop by some random strangers' table and shout out "Yam Seng"!!
  • when you go and get your car, you walk for 2 big rounds before realizing that you didn't drive afterall.
  • you talked to your granddad as if he's your best pal. You know, like saying "What the fuck!"
  • you can't walk in a straight line and you ended up having to be heaved into the car.
  • your head's pounding.
  • you tell your mum how much you have in your bank account at the moment.
  • while you are typing this entry, you are moving to and fro in your seat.

Ok, I admit. I am drunk.

Probably one of the craziest thing I've done this Semester.

So, we stayed up till 2.30 in the morning, "investing" on a losing scheme. Losing, I mean by, me, always at the losing point, but yet, amazingly, you can always see me grouping my batchmates, and saying "Hoi Toi!! Hoi Toi!!"  .. Well, it's always alright to get indulged in a gamble game, as long as you know your limit and you don't bet as if you wanna win people's harta..Friendly game I would say. I seriously think Pre-Chinese New Year is always a good time for us to strengthen our bonds, otherwise, my housemates wouldn't even bump into the other housemates..Thus, let us look at it this way, in a positive manner, alright fellas?

[So, pssst..let's us have 4 more rounds to go, before everyone starts packing their bags and leave for the holidays..Aye??]

Perhaps "investmest class" wasn't that crazy compared to what we've done last night. After the gambling session ended about 2.30am, SOMEONE came up with the idea of going to McDonalds for supper. The idea wasn't realized, because WE WENT TO McD for BREAKFAST instead. We were having breakfast at 4.00 in the morning, when we should be sleeping!!

We managed to reach UTP about 6am, and then tried to get some sleep. BECAUSE, AT FUCKING 9AM, WE WERE SUPPOSED TO ATTEND HYDROLOGY.
I couldn't even open my eyes at 8.30am, and barely able to move my limbs then. But because the lecturer is kinda good, so I forced myself to attend the lecture.

Good experience though, with TeeHooi, Joshua and Kenneth. Not as fun coz I always kena kacau and bully, but oklah, there's first time for everything.

Tired of going the same old place for your anniversary?
How about a new place for a change? How about an
Alaska luxury cruise..?

Why the surprised look on your face? Alaska cruise is not something familiar which you can encounter in any of the tour agencies in Malaysia. Probably the market in Malaysia is not big enough, thus you can always see tour groups to China, Shenzen, Australia, Europe..but none of them would have been interested in going to the Alaska cruise. Simply because it's not common for people in Malaysia to go for such luxurious cruise. Besides the Alaska Luxury Cruise, TravelStore, Inc. allows you to book your luxurious to any destinations in the world. It's a easy website with details about whatever you need to know from the vacation that you choose.

TravelStore, Inc is different from other companies, as they have experts who understand the vacationers' needs and the trip to be well planned and excuted flawlessly.Even when you are uncertain about the right destination to spend your holidays in, there are Vacation planners who knows everything about travelling from A to Z, so that they would be able to give you a little insight about the place you might be interested to go to. If you are travelling with a tight budget, don't fret, because they have business traveller managers who will help cut travelling expenses and the exact vacation that you've always dreamt of without paying extra.

It's 4 in the morning.. (No pun intended to Gwen Stefani's fans) but seriously, it's early in the morning, and I still can't sleep.

Just after a game of investing, and I finally got myself a pair of Crocs today! I used to be a Crocs virgin, because I think it's kinda foolish to pay about RM150 and more, just for a normal pair of sandals. But coz I felt that it must be something special because apparently even the doctors recommend patients with sore legs to walk with such Crocs shoes. Albeit the hideous feature, Crocs offers the person who's wearing them, comfort.

I didnt get myself the hideous kind, just the normal selipar jepun kind, but yet, it still cost me RM139.00.
But nevermind lah, taking it as a treat for myself, since the allowance just came out, and I got a slight increase by the department.

I wanted to write about some certain things but time doesn't permit me to do so.
I really feel like stopping the beatings of the clock, and just let me rest for a second.
Now, don't come to me saying that I wasted my time gambling and having random chats, but my work doesn't last me till midnight.

So, before I leave to this time-sucking meeting, I shall leave you with a picture of us, getting random and high in RumJungle.
Like I've said earlier, what happens in a club, stays in a club.
Psst, by the way, there's a suggestion to go down to Ipoh and club the whole night away, before us leaving to our hometowns for the Chinese New Year.

Hmm, a good idea to relax, but I've a class at 10 the next day.
Now, let's weigh which is more important...Hmmm...

From left to right: Aiting, Shiouting, TeeHooi and Myself.

Pardon the lighting and the blurry picture. Night mode+Flash = Something like above..

I made a decision at last.
After being so fickle-minded for such a long period of time, even though I still feel that it's living within me.
I've became a part of it. For 5 semesters now, and for me to let it go all of a sudden.

Was given a chance to run the show again. Albeit the numerous comments about how I handled my committees, yet I've been given a chance to prove myself worthy.
I know, probably I was a mean HOD before, but sometimes, some people have to be the bad person in order to get the jobs done, right?

I think I have to take management courses after my graduation. Because it's not easy to deal with your colleagues, neither it's easy to deal with your workers.
You talk to them nicely, they will take you for granted. You talk to them in a harsh manner, they say you're torturing.
See what I meant by life's being so difficult at times.

I tried taking up the position again, even had many discussions with the Hi-Coms and friends. Some of them really think I should learn to let go. Seeing me cope under the pressure and stress, I am no longer myself, and honestly, I am behind my work and studies.
I became a nasty AngKhian, and constantly having to duel with myself in my mind. Freaking myself out at times.

And for me, if I keep staying behind, no one's gonna be able to be my successor. Everyone keeps leaving, changing departments.
Maybe they got freaked out with the way I work. Maybe they get tired being ordered around. But, let's face it, working world is like that..
Though not as scary as I described it would be, but heck, I really don't know the real way of working anymore.

So, long story cut short, I am still staying behind, trying to maximise my knowledge of EDX, hoping to pass my experiences down to the juniors. Though my experience is not as much compared to the others, but it must be something. It had to be..

No longer the 'dai ka che' that everyone wants me to be, but merely a small committee. Good idea to contribute to this "family". Less work, less commitment, but (hopefully!) a hell lot of fun.!

I am short-changing myself, I know. But what to doooo....Life's gonna go on...
