One thing I love about UTP is, besides the greens and fresh air, is perhaps, because of the people here.
I've never thought that in my life, I would make friends with people from Africa, South Africa to be exact.
UTP's just one good place, where all the races mix together, as one big family. Integration is never a problem here.

What I liked most is that I've joined UCITY-a Civil Engineering society. Something like STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL, but only, we represent the Civil Engineering faculty.

Part of the Communication and Welfare Department, headed by Yours Truly. I've never thought of being bestowed with such heavy responsibilities, because we always have this perception that such important positions are being dominated, but I was wrong. Clearly, we all live in a harmonious and happy society, where everything's shared equally and fairly.

Where else can you find people with different colour being seated together??
Other than in UTP. Smiles which are so true, that You can hardly believe that when I said, we do fight once in a while.
But we make up faster too..

Where can you find such sweet integration? Where we can eat and smile, and share the same jokes and laughter?

Part of the UCITY crew.
Maybe they give me work pressure once in a while, but I guess I am tough. I am still living.

p/s: I am still waiting patiently for my fate. I hope it's nothing bad, but I am growing stronger each day. Just hear what I have to say.

There's always a rainbow, after the rain.

I learned a lesson this time around.

You have people who only sticks to you to know what's the story,
those who pretend to care about you,
those who dare to talk loud but fear to admit,
those who are glad that he/she is not involved,
those who are angry because they got affected by me,
those who run away upon seeing you,

BUT
there are also those who really cared.

And for that, I, truly, appreciate. Forever indebted.

You could have many friends with you when you drink, but probably none when you are gone

Sorry for the lack of updates.
As you all may have know by now, I got into some trouble with the authorities lately, but it's all sorted out now.
So, am moving on, going back to the blogging flow.

Two *toot* tests tomorrow.
And I still have no *toot-ing* idea what the 2 subjects are about.

Counting down to the Mid-sem break in 2 more days now.
I really need the break.
And some decent rest.

From the nonsense I have, here.

I love Test Weeks. They give you the sort of exhiliration that you can never anticipate in normal lecture days.
Test gives me the feeling of anticipation, the kind of feeling that you have something to wake up to, each day.
They give you the reason of not sleeping so early at night, the alibi for you to chew on that piece of Chocolate bar in the middle of the night.
Test magnifies the guilt trapped inside you.

I had 2 tests yesterday. Back to back, with 2 hours break.
Don't ask me how I did, just remember that Tests are not our foes, rather the mirror, reflecting ourselves.

The best assurance in life, depends on the insurance you purchase. Don't you think so?
You always have door-to-door insurance agents, some trying to introduce you to their companies insurance policy, some will try to scam you into buying a policy which you might not benefit anything from it, I don't know much about insurance, but certainly, insurance is something which protects you at the end of the day.
I, actually have alot of friends working for different insurance companies, and personally have 2 top-selling Cousin who always appear in the newspapers. 2 of them, drive BIG-BIG cars and sometimes, I think that perhaps I chose the wrong path to my career. Insurance agents can afford those things, whereas, Engineers have to build their way to success, which is kinda takes a long time to achieve that goal.
One insurance that is important to me, is my Car Insurance. As you all can see, I am a safe driver, who drives at the minimum speed, and rarely get a summon ticket for speeding, but how much I tried to avoid, I tend to be accident prone. Cars always tend to bully smaller-car drivers like me, and you know, when my kancil gets hit, it's like wayyyy easier to crumble than milo tin. It was just pure luck that I managed to escape safely from the 05-05-05 accident.
Unfortunately, my mum didn't buy an expensive insurance to cover my car, only the basic 3rd party one. So, not very much worthy lah. You don't get the pay you desire at the end of the day. That's why my dad always warn me that whenever accident happens, both parties will come out losing.
Hmm...

The roads will be quiet for 7 days.

It's gonna be another 7 days before seeing this again.

Aww, the serenity and tranquility of Bandar Tronoh for 7 days.
7 days to replenish the dead cells, and reenergized after 8 weeks of pure torture, suffering, pressure, mental issues..

Another 7 days before the real battle begins.

FOR NOW, IT'S PARTTTAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY, people...!!

What makes me happy? What makes me happier? What makes me happiest?

Does that really matters, whether I am happy or not. Happy is just an adjective, to express our feelings, our day.
But how happy is happy really is?..How happy can one person claim to be?

The only thing which made me really really glad, is that the people around me are happy.
And that makes me happier.

The most important in life, is to create a difference in the world. And how can we achieve that, is by making a difference in one person's life, and that would change everything.
Being happy doesn't mean you have to stay in Big houses, or driving Big horsepower cars, or having lots of cash stashed in the bank..
Being happy can simply be something simple. Something cheap. Something that you really enjoy.

OldTown Kopitiam, Shatin Park branch (2006)

When some magazine writes about a successful 20-year old, earning his first bucket of gold, does that mean he is really happy?
The feeling of happiness can mean alot when you don't have to spend your new years alone. You have ample of calls and short messages, all waiting for you to get back to them about new year plans. And not merely sitting in front of your computers and documents, sulking about the costly drinks and food outside.

I am happy that I am still alive till now. When hopes were gone, and I had wonderful friends and parents to advise me and teach me to return to the correct path of life.
I am happier that I still have my grandparents with me, and they are really cool ones. Who understands the way I think and there's no generation gap, at all..

Ah Gong's 80th birthday dinner (2007)

Happy because they still live eventhough they are growing old. I am glad that I do not have to experience death in a young age, that I was able to spend most of my life with them.

We can simply be happy with just normal eat-outs. Random hang-outs. We can be happy without being under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

Dinner at 2+1, after huixiang (2008)

I can be happy, just by seeing the smiles I carved on people's face. When I joined the rural service, organized by the MCA, I regretted to have hesitated at the early stage. Because at the end of the day, I changed a family's perception towards education. And how education can change one's perception of life. And how education can help to build stronger minds and change their fate.

I am happy that God gave me the high EQ to be able to mingle with anyone, anytime. I can talk to someone, ranging from 8 to 80 years old.
Thus resulting me to mix with people from different faculities, different mindsets, different backgrounds.

Teluk Batik after Finals (2006)

I am happy that I was given the strength to continue smiling, eventhough being burdened with workload, pressure and stress. I am glad I was gifted the ability to shut my mind from unhappy thoughts and the courage to keep on moving each day.

HSE Group Project (2007)

I am happy with how we can still cope with one another, eventhough there were minor setbacks. But we managed to laugh it off, every semester.

I am happy that I have 2 loving parents, who loves me very much. Who accepted me for who I am, for what I gave them. They, who guide me, eventhough I messed up so many times.

I am happy that distance failed to bring us apart, because it only make us closer.

Friends scattered all around the world. (2008)

I am excited to wake up each day, to learn new things, to meet new people, to simply just chill out with anyone.

Hydraulics Project in UTP's mosque (2007)

I am happy because I make people happy. And that makes me happier.

Beds are one of the must-haves in a household. A good bed is essential, for a good night's rest. With a good bed, you can reenergized in comfort. With good rests, you can wake up and face the worst possibilities. On the other hand, if you do not get enough sleep, you can be grouchy, and then perhaps, lose concentration. Therefore, it's important that one should get enough sleep everyday.
The structure of the bed is not important. Whether it's made of leather fabric, or it's the latest design, or whether the style fits your interior design, that is only half of your queries. The most essential part of your bed is the mattress. Mattress have to be the right one for you, despite how ugly the bed post is. Time4sleep has recently came out with the latest revolution in sleep. They have worked hard to source a range of memory foam mattresses that will put an end to your quest for a perfect nights sleep. Made from pressure relieving visco elastic memory foam, all mattresses in this collection have been specifically designed to respond to your weight and body temperature.
Finally you get a mattress which fits your needs, instead of you trying to adapt to it.

I personally like the Flexcell 1000 Visco elastic memory foam mattress. Not only it's the premium range mattress, yet it's also affordable. The price ranges from 499Pounds up to 599pounds, depending on the size you desire. The Flexcell 1000 is constructed with a very high quality 55kg density of visco elastic memory foam and the best part is, it's covered in a soft removable cover. This will prevent the users from staining the mattress directly. The Flexcell 1000 has a 10cm top layer of premium grade visco elastic.

499Pounds may sound alot, but what is the price for comfort and good rests? How much are you willing to pay, to pamper yourself?

Watching short video clips of the Parliment meetings, as well as the Ceramahs conducted lately.
>>No comments on the ceramahs, but the Parliment meetings are so funny, it beats South Park and Family Guy, HANDS DOWN!!
There's no need for Russell Peter, we have them all here, local.

Having a place of your own, shows a great sign of independance in you.
It's not easy to rent a room nowadays, without having to fork out a large sum of money every month; let alone having the entire lot to your name.
Didn't I say earlier that it's not easy?
Lands are so expensive these days, that a simple double-storey house cost you RM300K-400K at the very least..and that's in a simple, humble town, like Ipoh. What about houses in cities, like Kuala Lumpur where land's scarce and people simply can't afford to own their own houses?
Mortgages has been pretty common these days, even among young adults who just came out to work. Simply, because it has became a necessity to have a roof over your head. No more being able to stay under your parents' wings anymore, as soon as you are up and working, you are expected to have your own abode, all to yourself. The heck, your parents need their own space and time, having to raise you for more than 20 years!
As tempting as it may sound, some banks may offer low interest rates, which would lure any TOM,DICK or HARRY to buying their own place. But beware, make lots of comparison, and also a lot of reading and researching, before signing the agreement. It's always easy to buy a house, but to maintain it, that's the difficult part. Choosing the right bank which cater to your needs is very important. There are so many banks who cater to the needs of those who are interested in mortages, so do not be afraid to approach anyone of them. There are also websites who put news and stories about mortgages in UK and around the world.
Get your own nest, have a little freedom to yourself, but at the same time, be wary about burning a hole in your pocket.
Be a smart consumer!

I am sleepy, but it's the 10th of March 2008. Marks my 21st birthday, and I don't want to miss the day, by sleeping through it. So, let me write here, about how I spend my birthday eve with my family.

What I heard from dad over the phone, was he had invited the close family members to have a small gathering in conjunction of my 21st birthday. I resented to that idea, because I am not keen to dress up (no doubt in frilly dresses), and to do abit of socialling with them, isn't what I have in my mind exactly. So I pushed the idea, just enough to let him know that I am not into that sort of thing, but at the same time, trying to remember that this is perhaps what my parents want to do, and I should just go with the flow.
And it turned out that only 6 people were at the dinner tonight, and I am so happy about it!

Apparently, my dad knows that I hate 'being such a fake puss-ie', going around entertaining family members, responding to questions like, "Where are you studying now?, How many years to go?, Got boyfriend mei??, Why like getting fatter and fatter??"
Ok, I don't need depressing questions on my birthday's eve, so he put the idea off, and proceeded with a dinner, involving my own family and my grandparents. Good enough. Comfortable enough.

I went to the dinner in Capri pants and a pair of Crocs sandals. Chilling. No formal dresses. No make ups. No nothing. Comfortable, casual look.
I don't care whether the rich uncles or aunties look at me in a disgusted look, as I walk into Tai Thong Restaurant. Eh, please. You come in, eat, pay and go. I come in, eat, dad pay, and go. So same-same, no difference.

I shall not elaborate what was served tonight. So pandai-pandai look at the pictures, and have a wild imagination on how it tasted.

'Lang-pun'-Cold dish.

Shark's Fin soup.

Suckling pig.

Mixed vege, stir-fried with water chestnuts and lotus root.

Longetivity noodles.

Let's sum up the dishes with 2 words. TARAK SEDAP.!
Initially we wanted to go to Overseas Restaurant, because I mengidam their STEAMED GRASSPRAWN. Sweet and fresh! But their restaurant was booked, full, thus resulting us into trying TAI THONG. Ok, our last time there already.

I know you must be disappointed to see such mediocre dishes on my birthday. But mainly because my grandparents can't take prawns, crabs, so we didn't order. I can always eat such good seafood, but grandparents have to come first. ALL THE TIME.

Aku punya datuk dan nenek. Cun kan?

Keluarga aku.

After dropping my grandparents off, we then went to Indulgence for my birthday 'slice-of-cake'.
We can't get one whole piece of cake because it's pretty obvious a family of 4 can't finish half the cake. So, we don't splurge on these, just so we can take pictures with the camera.

My 2nd birthday cake this year.

To make things more different this year, I was granted 2 slice of cakes!

Nice?

Shall write more about my birthday celebration tomorrow morning.

p/s: My mum forced me to dye my haircolour again before my birthday. Thus the dark shade of my hair. Aah..

10th of March 2008-my 21st birthday.
Probably one of the most miserable birthday I've ever spend. I spend the day, sitting in front of the laptop, receiving smses and messages in friendster and facebook. None of them were around. None of them were in Ipoh.
But I am happy that people still remember this date. 10th of March.
Ok, perhaps 3/4 of them were reminded by either the Facebook, Friendster, or their calender, but nevertheless, the thought of sending a text message worths alot to me.
That doesn't mean I am still not upset the fact that I spend my birthday at home, in my room.

No self-reflection this time around, because to be honest, I spend the day thinking why am I at home, wasting the day away.
No one was around to 'layan' me, no surprises, no cakes, no candles, speaking of which, I should have a birthday cake, lit up with 21 candles..Where is it?!!! No point grieving about it, it's over, 11 minutes more, and it's gonna be 11th of March. Hmm, Looi's birthday.

Anyway, a big thank you to those who text me, to which I replied, "Hmm..thanks!"
and those who called all the way from Australia and UK-which I didn't manage to answer..(Eewan, was it you??)
and those who left me online messages via Yahoo Messenger!, Gtalk and MSN. And those who 'Superpoke' me or left me a message on my SuperWall in Facebook. And those who are still stuck in Friendster, sending me comments and messages.

You can read some of them here. And here. And here.
Those are different blogs. Read them if you have time.

Anyway, am glad that people do remember. Sending me text messages, reminding me how old I am getting. Ok-ok..
and what Dai said to me in facebook..I will always remember you, Dai.

I can't thank all of you individually, and listing them out would really kill me. You know who you are. Thanks alot for making a difference!

I spend the night with CheeWeng. I know..I know, so random..Out of the blue, he called, and out we went.

Don't see him like that ooo...One of the richest kid in Ipoh..Weh..konon single lah, I heard...

Then right after that, William called and asked me yumcha.. We were in Breeze Cafe.

This year I spend my birthday with the most random people on earth. Never did I thought I would be spending the night, talking to them. It was good, no regrets..

So, now, flash back to Thursday night, on the 6th of March, the people in UTP held a mini-birthday celebration for me. Oklah, they always do something stupid at the beginning before bringing out the cake.

Let me write here. That night, I was rushing my 2 important assignments which were supposed to be handed in on Friday. As panic as I was, I received a random call from Ong Yuin Yee around 11.40pm., telling me to come down, coz he wanted to pass me something from Kok Hock. I already suspected something, because when I asked him what was it, he answered, "Pendrive", when padahal, the "Pendrive" was returned to me, like a week ago.

I knew something fishy was going on, so I quickly 'Gtalk-ed' TeeHooi, asking her whereabouts, but I found that her status was idling. Ok, confirmed! I send a text message to Jialin saying that "You guys better don't do anything stupid ah!"

I walked down to meet Ong anyway. Someone has to go along with the flow, right? I reached the place where we were supposed to meet, when Ong told me that he accidentally left the Pendrive in his room, asking me to follow him back to retrieve it. I agreed to it, but while we were walking, I noticed that he was unsure where to go, but it was his room, we are talking about, so I told him blatantly, "Ong, I hate people who lies to me..."
He was stunned for a second. Then he brought me to a dark place.

As I was walking towards that place, I heard people whispering, talking..and they were scheming to hide or something, when suddenly someone exclaimed, "Ohhh, she's here already lah!.."
I burst into laughter. So dumb lah...Want to con a smart person like me wor..You all raise the tails, I also know what's planned already lah..
But I was so happy, that someone, or rather a group of people who purposely sat down, and think about how to celebrate my birthday. Went all the way to Batu Gajah to get a nice piece of birthday cake, which tasted superb. Tiramisu beb!

They did the usual. Look at me, smile, laugh and then sing Happy Birthday song. 2 versions.

I always hate to be in the centre of attention, and I did blush for a minute.
Paiseh what...

C*bai KeeHui, smashed my face onto the cake when they asked me to pull the candle out from the cake using my teeth. Darn, I knew that was going to happen. See, so typical man..

Luckily I ada learn KungFu, managed to stand firm on my legs to prevent myself from landing entirely on the cake. The cake damn sedap ooo, wasted if used for entertainment purposes..

Right after wiping myself clean from icing..

Right after wiping myself clean from icing..

The two who made that night possible. Thanks XiYi, Thanks JiaLin.

After eating the cake, we proceeded to taking pictures.

Kenneth and I.

The Ducks and I. No, no..I didn't pay for 4 of them. I only wanted One...but which one? Hmmmmm...
Hehhe..Joshua, WuiKeong, YewTeng and Kenneth!..They bestowed me with a duck figurine, and I wonder why..I don't want to be in the Duck Club okay..I am not even qualified, I just want to pay for them, not work as one!

Although from different house, but the relationship's quite good. Don't need me to name lah, you probably recognize all of them..All also kaki clubbing lah..haha, except for Pinky. She should come join us one day!

Uncle Teng, Rubber Duck and I. Kenneth forced us to take this picture. Looks nice lah, no regrets..Kakakakaka!!

Diversified friends I have.
TeckKiong (red), Chan(Black), Kian Chiew, Ong, JiaLin, Me, LeeTeng and Xiyi.

Although not many people came, maybe coz I am not popular enough lah! but to those who made an effort to take a break from work, I thank you with my deepest appreciation. Thank you for making me feel wanted, once again.

The night didnt end there. I ended up not completing my work, joining the girls for a Girls' Night In, in Level 4, drinking, talking and laughing.
Aah, work, that can wait...

That's about it. Closing this chapter of my life.
Happy 21st Birthday to me.

Watch any American comedies, sitcoms, dramas, you see their houses. Posh houses, the actors aside, peer into their interior design of their houses.
One good thing about watching the tv, is that you get to 'experience', see the way the people abroad live, and the way they keep their houses nice and clean.
Maybe it's just the set, but then, I am pretty sure that most of the houses in the States are like that.

You see any windows, I am sure they are either lined with curtains, or with blinds.
Speaking of which, wood blinds are pretty common these days, even in Malaysia. It's not as expensive as I thought it was, but what's abit of splurging if you get the 'class' into your homes..?
I really wouldn't mind spending a little for the house, if it's to make the house, a home. A lil bit comfy-er..

Check this website out..>> here and you can see so many kinds of blinds available.
There are just so many to choose from!
My personal favourite would be the 2'' Designer Basswood Wood Blinds. It's not the typical dysfunctional plastic blinds, but this is made of real wood, of the practicality of a horizontal blind. These blinds are carefully crafted to our specifications which brings out the design of your homes, or offices.

The website shows alot of other choices of blinds, and also, you are able to choose your own colours and type of finishing you want. For once, you are able to decide on what you want. There's also description of the product, so that you would be able to understand more about the products themselves.

It was a gloomy day. It has been this way, for the past few days.

The monsoon season is it? I like the rain, but only enough to balance the heat. When it pours too heavily, I hate the trouble they cause, like having to use an umbrella. And getting the entire body wet, even though an umbrella is used.
Troublesome betul!!

Anyway, I had a "Birthday Lunch", a treat by my aunt. This aunt is a close relative to the family, my mum's 2nd eldest sister.

This funny woman.

She suggested this newly-established restaurant, built beside Assam House.

Whole lots of Chinese Jargons..I can only read a few..but this is the Set Lunch menu. Would be better if you order the dishes from this menu during peak hours, they serve faster, but you know the quality lah right..Fast things no good..Good things no fast...

Chinese Appetizer>> Peanuts!

Then the dishes came....

Complimentary Soup. 菜干-'Choy Gon' soup..(Direct trans: Dry Vege soup)

Stir-fry Spinach

I don't know what is this lah..Pork lah I know..but dunno what pork...

Assam Seafood.

The biggest picture is the most delicious one lah!
Very nice seafood, cooked with hot and sour assam paste.

The bill kinda cheap also lah..but don't think I will be going back on my own account.

p/s: I don't think I can be a very good food critic, because definitely, I can't be neutral. Tarak Sedap lah! If continue to be like that, some companies are gonna sue me for good!!

Wanted to buy something that you really really like, but the bank account has nothing in it? Or you can't wait for the paycheck to come because you've simply overspend last month? You have a mountain of bills, waiting to be cleared, but you do not have extra cash allocated?
What would you do if you are in such situations?

You always come across ads saying "Web Hosting", "Web Hosting". Sometimes in large fonts, and sometimes in bold form. Most of the people would know what WebHosting is about, and eventhough you see me updating my blog 24/7, that doesn't mean I know the Internet Jargons, not all at least.
There are still noobs around, noobs who fear to pop such embarassing questions, because we feared to be laughed at. Coz we are the young adults, who frequently use the internet, yet we do not know most of the internet jargons, like Web Hosting. Or maybe some of us know the exact meaning of WebHosting, but we have other questions that are unanswered, and we want to know more. Don't worry, this website might be your solution (and mine!) >> webhosting faq. There, you can see all the frequent asked questions about web hosting. It's never too late to find out, never too late to update ourselves. Happy finding out!

The biggest threat to a home, are termites. It's therefore wise to do termites inspection every year to prevent them from moving to your entire house.
It's very easy nowadays to get termite treatment, with various termite exterminator in town. But to eliminate your enemy, you must first get to know your enemy. The website shows you details about termites, and provide you the information to kill them. What I mean is, you don't have to do it hands-on yourself, but you will have alil knowledge about killing termites when the exterminator talks to you. At least won't get conned ma! At least you won't look silly in front of them. This website also contains FAQs about Termites and the ways to killing them. I reckoned it's a pretty useful website, and it pays to know more about the pests.

Today, was perhaps the first time I send my mum and brother off to the bus station.

When we went and had our tea, we talked about alot of things. The 3 of us were talking in a nice mode.
We seldom sit together and eat, and talk nicely. But, I like how things were today.
Or, as matter of fact, I like how things were for the past few days.

Bro was always out having meals with us. None of us were in a pissed-off mode. No one yelled at nobody.

That's what I've always been dreaming about. About this family. How peaceful we can actually be.

So, when I was driving my mum and brother out, I didn't have the soul to turn the radio on.
Usually, right after I turn the ignition on, the first thing I would do is to turn the radio on, and put it in full blast.
But today, today was different. It was a quiet journey. All the way to the bus station.

No one spoke a word. Emotions were playing inside all 3 of us.

I found my voice, and talked to my mum.

" You have packets of tissue with you? Just in case you want to use? "
" When you reached, you give me a call okay?? "
" Jack, take care of mummy. Carry her things. "
" Phone got credit?? "

I didn't know what to say. I felt like sheding tears, but it was silly. They were just going to KL for 2 days.
But it felt something different to me.

I love my family alot. I realized how stupid I was to have spend all the years being angry, agitated, disappointed, at them. And suddenly the time passed by so quickly. I need more time with them.
So foolish to have wasted the time, not appreciating them at all. So rebellious to my parents. So ignorant to my brother's feelings.

I miss home already. And I want time to stop, for me to savour the moments I share with them now.

Have you called home today?

"I love you.."

How I wish I could have gather my courage and tell him that. It's just 3 simple words, yet how many are able to muster the courage to tell someone that.

"I love you.."

A boy told me that when I was 15. That's very young, he probably doesn't know the importance of that string of words. I still remember he texted my mum's phone that night, and I left her phone in the living room. The next morning, I was awaken by my dad's stern voice, asking me to come out from the room. He showed me the text message, and I read it. Part of me, I was very much happy with how a boy can confess to me overnight, but at the same time, I was furious at him, for getting me into trouble.  Dad left me a stern warning, telling me that it's a silly thing to fall in love at such a young age. Puppy love. The relationship wouldn't last.

It certainly didn't last. Barely 6 months, we broke off. The romance died.
It has been 6 years since we were together, but we still keep in touch. Friends still.

Thank you, and if you happen to read this, you know who you are.

After the trip to genting, I felt so tired and exhausted. I slept through the day today. Managed to wake up, in time for breakfast and lunch, then headed back to UTP.

I don't have the patience to write about the trip, but just look through the pictures.
Thank goodness for Kenneth's SLR. and his tripod.

It's wrong to risk your savings on a simple game: Gambling.
It's also wrong to put your entire savings in risk, in investing. The best!: Keep your money under your pillow!
But how many are given the chance to save their butt, everytime they make a mistake?
Money made from gambling, investing, trading is easy to come, but easier to go. So what happens after you lose all your money?
Whereelse can you seek for help?

Bad credit is a reality for most of the people in the world, especially Americans. This make lives more difficult for the consumer to build the future they planned for themselves and their families. Thank goodness, there are lenders who are willing to give those with bad credit a second chance.

BadCreditOffers.com is a leading comparison website for people with bad credit, features credit cards, home loans, auto loans, personal loans and much more.
There's one section in the site, "bad credit credit cards", which compares 10 of the top credit cards on the market for bad credit, and once you click, you will be given an online application. That way, consumers are able to apply for the offer that's right for them, able to make payments in time, and get back right on track!

I miss her, and everytime I want to hear her voice, I rushed to my phone, tried to punch in the numbers, and wait for the dial tone. I just want to hear her voice, the voice of comfort. For her to tell me that everything's gonna be fine. To know that we are separated by the distance, but she's only the phone call away. I miss alot of my friends who are abroad. Sometimes, knowing that they are so far away, calling them can be pretty expensive. No more using landlines, when calls are only 4cents per minute. Now, one call can easily be 99cents per minute. And that's after a discount!

Thank goodness for calling cards. They make calls so much cheaper and affordable! Now I can call anyone I want from anywhere, at anytime, with the same call rates.
Friends in Australia, New Zealand, UK, US, Russia, Germany, Dubai! Await my calls! I miss alot of people these days.

Struggled the whole night, preparing for a test. All the effort down the drain, when the lecturer asked to postpone the test.
Not that I placed alot of effort in the first place, it was a matter of dying then, or dying 3 days after. But anyway, key word: DIE.
Foundation and Earth Structures. It's not as simple as its name.

Easter around the corner and off we went to buy eggs.

Guess where were the eggs from??

The original idea was from Kenneth, when he wanted to buy eggs for easter. I Pak Turut je, since he wanted someone to lead the way, all the way to Sg.Siput.

Costing only RM10 per egg, it's cheap. Ostrich eggs are known to be the healthiest eggs, low cholesterol. But One yolk in Ostrich eggs is equivalent to about 20 egg yolks of a Chicken's. You can feed about 20 people with just one egg!
(we plan to bring an egg to mamak...and ask them to deal with it! Add onto our maggi gorengs!)

Somehow, not only their eggs are big, see what else is big too....:

Drumstick! So huge okay...don't know how many times of the chicken's..!

Kenneth, who dragged me all the way to the Ostrich Farm.

A better look of the bird.  Can you imagine what if these BIG birds can fly? (And, psst..these birds are fugly creatures okay..) Still giving me the creeps..

Imagine the horror I had to face when he asked me to take a picture with the bird...T_T

So worried that it may fly out or ramp out of the fence, or something lah....and according to TeeHooi, she sat on one before..=.= ....iyyyyerrrrrrrrr!!

and look what the guys have in their minds...

Shortage of cash every month is a sign of overspend.
Some may get through this period of money-less time easily by stretching their dollar, but some may get themselves into debt, fearing that their money is not enough to spend.
How many out there, who has a debt? How many of you managed to pay your debt in the end?

I lose a couple of hundreds in Genting. Yeah, I am in a legal age, and we did have our little vacation in Genting Highlands, so all of us entered the "sinful" casino.
I lose money, but I was smart enough to not get carried away (that much). A couple of hundreds, was enough to learn a lesson. #have gotta wear red underwear next time!#
But what about those uncles and aunties, who were carried away by gambling? Some of them who lose their senses when they lose their money, and kept playing continuously? I see loansharks strolling, hoping to catch an innocent soul, in need of money. I see, ads on walls, in toilet cubicles, what about those who are weak and being won over to borrow money from ahlongs..? The high interest is enough to pay for the rest of the lives.
Indebted. Period.

Like I've said, it's better if we know our control limits, and not get carried away. It's always easy to hold out our palms and ask for money, but it takes a bolder man/woman to face their financial mistakes and take the harder way out. Being in debt is a scary thing. Why I know? Because I've seen beautiful familes breaking apart because of debts. How Ah Longs force them to pay by harassing the family members. How the people who are in debt are always in fear.

And if you are in a debt, there's a Debt Management Plan for you to get rid of the debt, and get a better new life.

My mum just bought herself a new ASUS laptop.
Looking at her, reminds me of a young kid, having a new toy.
Her anticipation, and excitement. Was worth a smile.

She jumped and clutched onto her laptop, worried that it may fall off her hands.
Shoo-ed my brother away, 1 metre away from her laptop: her new digital toy.

Asking me to teach her how to use this. and that.
I am happy for her.

Finding the right person, may require lots of sense of direction, and patience. Most of us wonder, whether the person sleeping right next to us, is the one we would want to spend the rest of our lives with. Those who believe in "The One".., are the ones you share an ice-cream cone with, or the one who holds your hands in the cinema, is really the One and only One for you? You may think you know the answer, but how correct are you?

Have you tried Online Dating? The kind of dates you can get, just by browsing on people's profile, and selecting those who you have the most interest in common. It's a safer way to meet new people, and probably bumping into Mr. Right. There's no need for awkward embarassing First Dates. All you have to do is just surf the online dating websites, and you are safe to surf anyone's profile, and then you can already decide who's right for you. I have done review internet matchmaking and online personals websites and came across a few interesting websites. And I find it easier to meet the guys of your dreams that way. There's no need to dress up (sexily!) and sit at a bar, hoping to catch a glimpse of everyone who's potential.

In the website, there are already arranged categories which enables you to search for the right person instantly! Let say you are looking for Black singles, you just click on the category, and the people who signed up for this program would have his/her profile there. Simple eh? There are also different categories, such as College Dating (For kids), Senior Dating (those who are looking for a companion), and if you are concerned with a friend's relationship status, you can always click on "Matchmaking". You can even meet the people of the same religion if you want to!

Now, does this bring dating to another level?

Don't be left out again for Valentine's, Christmas, New Year's. Get in the loving mood. Get in love! Try Online Dating!

Apparently you can improve your vocabulary, and donate free rice at the same time!

They will give you a word, and you have to choose the right answer (synonym) lah!
Then for every correct answer, you donate 20 grains of rice to some people in the world. This is in collarboration with UN's World Food Program to end hunger.

Do abit of charity today, and while you are at it, you can improve your own English. You think it's easy? You will be surprised how shallow we are, at times.

After a whole stretch of boring posts, let me make you salivate again..

I don't think many Ipoh-ians know about this place but the usual place we call them would be, "The Curry Noodles near the Police Station".
Or better known as Chuan Fong.

Like your any ordinary Curry Noodles shop, they do serve curry. Very typical ahpek style curry noodles, with the choice of Bihun, HorFun, Yellow Mee.
And you can choose between Curry= Dry Curry, Curry Soup, or just plain Chicken Soup when you are not up for hot and spicy, and also "Kon Lo": Dry Noodles with Dark Soy Sauce.

But what make this shop extra special, and paying customers keep coming back, is the bowl of "mixed" meat served with curry sauce, their own recipe.
A lot of the shop I know tried to do this, but Chuan Fong has the best taste, and curry dip!

Like you can see from the picture, you can notice roasted pork, prawns, chicken meat, and beneath all those, are pig head skin and bean sprouts as well as other food.

They simple go well with the curry dip..Once you try it, definitely you will be back for more..

Fresh! See the big succulent prawns..and the "siu yuk"..OMG, mana boleh cari?

Curry Dip.

Pick any piece you want, then add to taste with Curry dip.

Method of eating:
1. Use chopstick, lock target and pick your choice.
2. Dip the choice of meat into the dip.
3. Place food in mouth and start chewing.
4. Savour the taste.
5. Get set for another piece.

Nice kan??

Since it's the weekends, I'd better do something for Eewan.

Got tagged by Eewan

The Rules:-
1. Link to your tagger and post these rules.
2. List eight (8) random facts about yourself.
3. Tag eight people at the end of this post and list their names.
4. Let them know they’ve been tagged by leaving them a comment on their blogs.

#Eh, ini TAG sudah banyak lama lah...saya rasa pernah buat...#

Anyway, apa-apa je lah..

Random fact #1: I do not like animals (coming near me). I mean, not that I takde sifat penyayang terhadap animals lah..I do, like for instance, if I see a dog, with bad skin, I feel really awful and I would want to do something for it. But, I won't do it myself. Get it? I will get help from someone, like the vet, but if you want me to touch it, then I won't. Because I am afraid of animals. Not to say afraid lah, but if the dog/cat comes near me, I would freak out and call for help. And yeah, did I not mention I am Avianphobic? Google the word yourself.

Random fact #2: I have (very) low self-esteem. Don't see me like a talkative person, who talks out loud, but in actual fact, I am concerned with how people look at me, comment about me, and talk about me. Very self-conscious too!

Random fact #3: I am never good with boys. As in I can really talk to them, about boyish stuffs, but when it comes to the person I like, I don't know how to react and I will always be shy. LOL. And although sometimes the way I talk to them is harsh, but in actual fact, I've always believed in Guys being the men of the house. (Pretty traditional eh?)

Random fact #4: I love driving a lot. And have dreamt to own a car all to myself, like a Ferari? Or I would settle with a BMW? But the sports cars aside, I love 4-wheels, like my dad's Pajeros, or maybe a HILUX. What to do, being an Engineer prompts me to settle for a bigger, powerful car. For now, it's Little Kancil for me, no money ma, what to do~. Yeah, once I did a personality test, and the results came out stating that the car which suits my personality most is a Mercedez Benz SLK. Forgot which model already, but after I had a look at it, sleek design weh, I don't mind having that car.

Random fact #5: I hate drinking. I started drinking due to certain issues, but I do not like the taste of alcohol streaming into my body. Although I may sound alcoholic in my blog, or the way I talk, but sometimes I drink because it's part of socializing. Not because I REALLY, REALLY like drinking and all. And that's goes for smoking too. No, I am not a smoker. Yet.

Random fact #6: I love playing sports. Like Badminton. And running around. But due to my health condition, everything had to be toned down. OKlah, I put that as the main reason, it's not entirely true, but partially is because I am getting lazier and would prefer the comfy bed, rather than jogging a few kilometres each day. (University is making me lazy!)

Random fact #7: I have a soft spot for people. Like I may look cool, or give you a stern look when you walk by, but in actual fact, I really wanted to say hie, give you a hug, and smile. But perhaps, it's because of the ego I have, or maybe I felt like it's weird smiling at random people. So, the next time you see me, you see a stern face, not because I do not like you, it's because my hormones are acting up.

Random fact #8: I love technology. Geeky?

Random fact #9: I love meet-ups. No matter how busy I am, I try to accomodate all the plans. Sometimes, even my mom complains I have "too-many" friends, and I don't have time for my family. But how many is "too-many"?

*Oklah, enough about me. I want to hear about you pulak!
Tagging
1) Aiting
2) Pinky
3) Faiker
4) Renae Lyng
5) Amy
6) Han Jim
7) Dai
8) Yiling (You think work already, can run away?)

*Surprised? I know who's reading my blog, so you've gotta do this weh!

Had a short trip down to KL last Wednesday for OFFSHORE ASIA, '08 in KLCC.
Most of us wanted to know more about the Oil&Gas Industry, but I just wanted to take a break from the usual routine. Since Wednesday means Structural Analysis and Probstat Day..(tak pergi pun takpe..)..hehe..

The bus departed at 7.10am, really punctual. And I slept all the way to KL, suffered from insomnia the night before.

Anyway, nothing much to write about, since we didn't attend the conference. We just went and had a look at the exhibitions. For the conference we had to pay, and it was pointless for us to enter since there are so many Oil&Gas lingos which I wouldn't understand. From the exhibition, I sorta knew more about the industry and the pipeline industries. Gave me alil insight on the industry and what I would probably want to do for my career. Talked to a few "AngMohs", and now I know why it's hard for me to be attracted to Asian Men..Bwahahahahah..

The "AngMohs" I meet, they are pretty successful people. Loads of moolah stashed somewhere, older men, very appealing..*droolsss...*

Since Suria KLCC is just right next to KLCC, of course the main thing would be SHOPPING and CHILLING OUT!

F1 Petronas was doing some promotion thing at the Concourse Area.

You wouldn't imagine how much one of those are sold. I am not sure whether it's for selling anyway, but the point is, I bet not any Tom, Dick or Harry can own one of these..

TeeHooi and I. Right infront of the F1 Sauber car. Y'know, it's a privillege for UTP students actually, because we always, (ALWAYS) get to see this car in UTP. PETRONAS always come to our university, promote such things, and you see the display of F1 Sauber cars. Not bad eh..

And the dress code for the exhibition that day was supposed to be formal, but I had everything covered, except for shoes. My heels was in Ipoh, and there was no way you would want me to drive all the way back home to grab mine, so I opted to go with my new pairs of Puma's instead. So MIX-N-MATCH betul..and I believe I looked awful that day, but heck! at the end of the day, I wasn't the one who complained of blisters, sore ankles, bla bla bla..so, who's the smart girl here??

After spending time in the Concourse Area, we went shopping (walking around only jek: No money), and I saw this promotion on Diesel's cologne or something like that. Kinda like the way they promoted it, the concept was pretty cool..

Walked the whole KLCC and I ended up buying nothing. Got myself a new cone of NewZealand Fat-free ice-cream though. But couldn't buy anything. No money is like that der...
So, we went to the Art Gallery to kill time. What to do, it was free, so we all went in to have a look.

It's true that they say Engineering Students are "art-less". No creativity cells inside us. Coz once we went in, we couldn't understand what the art was about. There was this video of people, cutting the red onions, frying it, dry the oil, separate them in a plate and then at the end of the video, it was stated that this video won an award in UTM.

HAH??? All of us were clueless.

Like how clueless they are when they tried to understand the video of a man lying on a piece of concrete. The setting was in a dark room. All of them thought by touching the black box in front of the tv set, perhaps something different would happen to the man. It was super-duper funny to think with what kind of ideas Engineering has planted in us.

Certainly we were not up for ART. If only Kenneth was with us, he could perhaps understand, but he had something to do, so he left KLCC.
We managed to kill 20 minutes, 10 minutes for signing the Guest Book. And boy, Joshua's number was stated there.

His slogan was "ARE YOU LONELY TONIGHT? YOU WANT SOME ACTION? CALL JOSHUA!".
A well-trained dug.

When it was about time for us to leave, we had to walk all the way back to the Convention Centre.

Apa-apa pun picture first. Anyway, I saw this "matured" looking AngMoh sitting at the cafe outside KLCC, sipping beer. Damn yeng okay (for older men), so I purposely asked him to hold the camera for us..Damn chunted way to create opportunities right? Hehhe..

The ever-so-famous-shot-if-you-are-in-KLCC's park. Kinda good eh? Sorry, mine not SLR, DSLR, mine just super-short Olympus.

And then TeeHooi took a picture of me..

Quite misty that day eh? Just after a heavy downpour. I don't think this angle is right for me. Makes me look like I have double chin like that..*sulk* (must throw camera away..)

And then I spotted a Hunky Hot Korean (exaggerated lah), so I quickly asked him to take a picture of us.
I spoke to him in Korean, "Aah,..Can you take a picture of us?..Thank you....." *stares at him, blink-blink eyes*

Thus,

Sengaja-create-opportunity-punya-picture..but shhhh..none of them knew about this..LOL!

We left for UTP at 6, stopped by for dinner in Tapah, and reached about 11.
Not bad for a change. Just not bad at all...

It has been a almost 2 years since I last enter the court.
The sweat, the heart beats, the strained muscsle at the end of each game, it's all worth while.
The Dugs asked me to play with them today. Badminton lah deng!

I love the court. The smell of sweat which goes with it.
I played with 3 uncles man, and that's something.

My stroke is abit off. Must be the lack of practice.
I had to use a friend's "caplang" racquet. I miss my Carlton.
Should have brought it here.
But nah, one shouldn't blame the racquet, can only blame my laziness to train.
Skills starting to rust.

I miss badminton. Wanting to go back to the court again.
Tomorrow perhaps.
Or later, at night.

I do stress alot about phone cards, and how important it is for us to be connected to people, even though we are separated miles apart.
Like any other phone cards, therich.com offers a wide range of international calling cards as well as various phone cards which serves your individual needs.
Browse through the website and you will certainly find the names of the calling cards available amusing.

There are cards with names such as "Martini", "Mambo", "MaaLi", "Latina Star", "My Love", etc.
Don't you think just by listening to these weird calling cards' names, is enough for anyone to be curious about what kind of benefits each cards offer?

Therich.com however, just recently launced a new calling card, "My Love". The name could be inspired by the couples who are separated apart, due to work, studies, circumstances, thus it's important to keep in touch, and just by listening to the other half's voice is enough to motivate us.. Or something like that lah. I am just guessing.
Only $5 per card. You can even earn 3% Cash Back Bonus. And most of all, this card has no connection fees needed.

Let me assure you, that according to their ratings, this card offers excellent quality and connectivity.
And it's rated 5 out of 5 stars. Must be something.

With this card, you can call to UK, for 536 minutes. Australia 1050 minutes. Germany 536 minutes. Singapore 1155 minutes. Russia 420 minutes.
All these destinations are the ones I call to frequently, and you know what, it's worth while! There are also many other destinations available, and it's all very reasonably priced.

A pretty frequent Internet user, maintaining 3 blogs at a time, yet till now I am still clueless about web hosting.
Good for us that I am sure that most of us, are also as clueless as I am. Though I always promote entries about web hosting but (psst..I don't bother to know about it myself!). But the good news is, there are people out there, who are always willing to educate clueless people like us.

Kaushal Sheth is one of them.
In this website, there are so many details about web hosting being shared. From the best, the cheapest, the most convenient, user friendly, all the best categories, each web host is being listed down and stripped to the naked truth of web hosting. Apparently, Host Monster is one of the top in his list. Cheap, Cpanel, and has a knowledgeble tech support. Oookay, whatever the jargons means..but I am assuming that's the best.

Click on the website, and you can tell Kaushal Sheth what is your opinion about the best host.

Many have heard of Viagra, but when I actually found out about Tadalafil, I was half sceptical with the effect like what was promised to be just like Viagra.
Viagra was the first ever effective medication for the treatment of this sexual dysfunction. Prior to Viagra, available medications for erectile dysfunction were not very effective, and could also be dangerous. These medications worked as whole body vasodilators, and could cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure. Viagra, when it was released almost a decade ago, caused an intense media and public interest, as it was the first ever medication to offer effective treatment for the disorder.

Basically, Tadalafil is your other alternative to cure errectile dysfunction. And all men (and women too!) knows why it's important to cure such disease. [means you are not gonna get real action in bed-lah!].  However what sets Tadalafil aparts from Viagra and other medicine on the racks, would be you will be getting longer, larger and harder erections! And that's something, every men has been dreaming to work.

So, do check out the website, and see whether Tadalafil could be just your solution to happiness. (or perhaps a one-night stand)

I've nothing interesting to write about today.
Spend the whole afternoon and evening in TesCo Extra yesterday, trying to get some things for the UCITY's family day this coming Saturday.
Got myself a new sleeping bag, since I will be leaving to GuaMusang/Cameron Highlands next Friday. Doing some charity work for the Orang Asli. Giving them a free health screening. Life couldn't be better!

I can't wait really. Have never met orang asli before. I just hope I am able to blend in. And yeah, the period doesn't come. Or else, everything will be ruined.
But that's another matter. For the time being, everyone's worried for the Family Day.
I am just glad I can help, even though it's a small small thing.

Such have picture entries this week, I hope.
And blardy, I have a 2-hour test this Friday. And then, it's off to Euphonious-Battle of the bands, the very same night.

" Wearing a Medical ID offers you and your loved ones a piece of mind. In a day and age where a few minutes can be the difference between life and death, medical IDs can help save lives.
•A medical ID can speak for a patient in a medical emergency if he or she is not able to, identifying ongoing medical conditions drug or food allergies, or other symptoms that could be misdiagnosed as common ailments.
•It can protect a patient from harmful medical errors that could be made when admitted to a hospital.
•A vital description of medical facts of a patient helps to ensure appropriate and timely care.
Having a Universal Medical ID: UK will help patients find peace, knowing that in an emergency situation, responders will have their critical medical information.

Offering a broad line of medical ID alert jewelry, Universal Medical ID: UK makes sure you'll find a style just right for you. Universal Medical ID: UK features custom-engraved medical identification bracelet and necklace styles. Important information on medical conditions, drug and food allergies, prescribed medicines and emergency contacts can be engraved onto the surface of a medical identification jewelry piece."

I read about this while surfing the internet. I always thought it's a cool idea to have a Medical ID with us all the time. Like for my grandparents, who barely can speak English. What if they have an emergency and fainted somewhere? Plus whenever they travel, they might have an emergency, resulting them being rushed for medical attention, which requires them to use English to communicate?

Medical ID is just the thing you can get for your parents, grandparents, or the kids. In that way, you not only show them that you love them, but also you will feel much comfortable if something bad happens to them. At least, the doctors will know what to do.

And now, to top up to that, Medical IDs now come with different stylish forms, such as Sportbands, watches, charms, expansion wristbands and even bracelets! And if you are not a fan for wrist jewelleries, there are also necklaces available as Medical IDs.

With such cool looks, you will even want to have them as part of your look!

After braving through Test 1 only, we've already made plans to enjoy ourselves during semester break, which is not long now. I think Finals is around 1 month's time, and semester break's gonna commence then. Means, about 2 months from now lah.. Most of them are going to Sarawak this time because of the cheap discount airline travel tickets available from AirAsia. In fact, their tickets are so cheap that they only need to pay for the airport tax. That's the right way to travel for students, only pay for the neccessities!
For me, I might be leaving to Indonesia with the Civil Faculty, for some official business, but we might have to go through an interview first. However, thank goodness for the subsidy, we only had to pay RM300 to cover all our expenses in Indonesia.
Other than that, I don't think I am gonna go travel anywhere. I am saving up on a nice PDA handheld phone. I know, I know, I've just changed my phone a year ago, but that's like ages back okay..and recently, everyone I encounter with, has a phone in his/her palm, and they were busy with their stylus! I am seriously considering iPhone. With the cool interface and all, and with my hard-earned cash, it's just possible for me to buy one for myself.
Did I mention lately, I am into dumbbells, and all kinds of exercise machines? I am thinking of toning my body a little and maybe dress up properly. No more leh-leh feh-feh lah..I can't believe I went to a rock concert, wearing a black-t, a pair of jeans, and my crocs sandals. I felt so misfitted, with a bunch of wild suckers..haha..
Meanwhile, I need to save, save and save! for more things in my list-to-get. I really need new wardrobe, new pair of sneakers, new badminton racquet, a DSLR, a..err...something something..man, shopping theraphy really works!

If you think Engineeering students are wayy too technical and boring, you are wrong! So wrong man!
It turned out that quite alot of them have their own bands, and when I said bands, not musical boy bands okay, they are ROCK bands!!..and like what our Chancellor, Tun Dr. Mahathir mentioned before, that most of us here, would flair more as singers and dancers, rather than being a professional in the Engineering Field.

So, it was the third Euphonious for UTP. This is my first time going to one, because previously, it was either we had field work, or I wasn't around. Always missing out on this "Batte of the Bands", I bought myself an entry ticket, hoping to see the best bands. There were preliminary rounds earlier, and I did manage to see students who jam-ed hard, and really good in singing and with the percussions..
Last night was the Finals, and 5 groups battled out to find one GrandPrize winner.

I will post some pictures for you guys, proving to you that we are not all only for books and calculators, we are also talented, artsy-fartsy students as well..LOL.

But pictures of us, who did go..

Though from our batch, most of us did attend this Euphonious '08. But the Chancellor Hall is so big that many of us were scattered around.  We were however in the same island.

I have to be fair. Not the all 5 bands were good, and when the band started to play dull songs, we took the opportunity to take pictures of ourselves. The juniors seated at the back must be surprised to see seniors, who look stern during the day, can be so wild in the dark!

Sometimes the songs were tooooooo boring that I rested my eyes. The night before I had a hard time catching up with Transportation Engineering, was busy studying for test the same day. Deng..

The 'CurryPuff Girls' - PowerPuff Girls wannabe! Hehhe...

I shall write more after I get the pictures of the bands, for now, just be contented with what you see..

I felt so "Lao Sao" last night in the hall. I think I was the ONLY girl to wear shirt, jeans and a pair of Crocs Sandals, whereas the rest of them were putting on their Sunday's best, nice skirt with lace and everything..

Time to change??

What worries women (or some men) the most, would be growing old. (and dry!)
Not so much of being aged, but rather the effects which come with it. For instance, sore muscles, slow motion, and the most crucial one, would be wrinkles. Wrinkles are inevitable, in a way that they come when you scringe your face too much, no doubt, even at a young age, some have already experienced this. So, girls go all out to buy facial products to cover them, richer people go for BOTOX.
Dr. Chantal Burnison, recently came out with a skin-rejuventing molecule breakthrough. No idea who Dr. Chantal Burnison is? Click here, and find out more. She recently came out with this product: Ethocyn, which I am pretty sure alot of women might be interested to find out. The cry to find long-lasting beauty has been answered.

" Ethocyn was specifically designed by biochemist, Dr. Chantal Burnison to mimic, or simulate, the process that naturally occurs in young skin. Ethocyn is a competitive inhibitor -- this means it blocks something from taking place. Ethocyn molecules, when applied topically to your skin, blocks DHT-DHT receptor binding in fibroblast skin cells, thereby allowing elastin production to continue at levels of young (18-25 yrs old)  skin . The 19 years of research and $20 million-plus of safety and efficacy Ethocyn research studies confirm that Ethocyn is an ingredient every person over 25 years of age, male and female, should apply to their skin twice daily. The elastin levels will be that of 20 year old skin after 30-60 days of use. Skin will resume its ‘snap back’ quality of young, smooth, resilient ‘snap back‘ skin. "

I know it's too good to be true, but you'll never know if you don't try. But before that, do alil researching before plunging into this product. Don't get so hyped over being pretty, that you lose your rationality.

Got a text message 3 days ago:

"Hey! U gonna be in ipoh this weekend? Jac is back. San also (jac say one). I'm gonna be back as well. Organize gathering?"

Wahliao..

I had to decline the job to organize anything, since I was soo freaking busy with work. Even replying the sms took a few days to do so, simply because I had not much time to breathe. Anyway, they really were back, and though it took alot of deciding and 'planning', finally 4 turned up for the meet-up. Yiling's not favourable, haha...

Jokes aside, I really went back home this weekend to meet up with them. Though I have a dozen things lined up, but a 40-minute drive home is probably worth it. Was supposed to meet with Yeesan last week, but because of certain circumstances, I had to back out last minute, so I didn't want to disappoint her the 2nd time. Of course, Jacqueline flew all the way back from Montreal, US and it would only be right to meet up with this professional dancer. (must take autograph first before she gets any famous!) and certainly, Yiling, who made an effort to meet me whenever I am down in KL, so when she's back to the hometown, I also have to give (a little) face lah right?

Took quite alot of hassle to finally agreed on a place to meet up. I finally decided on "Friend's Cafe" (or however it's spelt). My first time being there, and I find the pricing abit too high for just yumcha. But the ambience is good, abit too noisy for catching up (maybe too many people bah). I had Caramel Mocha Spin (basically it's Mocha blended with Caramel, with bits of chocolate in it, topped with whipped cream)-->[can imagine or not?]. The drink was superb! I wanted to order another one, but after I mentally-counted the calories intake, I had to "ikat mulut". For RM10.95, it certainly stood out, compared to Starbuck's and Coffee Bean's.

3 hours of pure catching-up. The usual must-haves questions, "Are you ok?..", "Are you seeing anyone?.." and when it comes to me, it's always "So now, urm, boy or girl?.."..

I don't usually have to answer much because they are my frequent blog-readers. A good point of keeping a blog is, I don't have to explain alot, yet they already knew what happened to me, real time. The downside would be I have nothing new to tell them anymore. Deng..~

3 hours flew past. And yes, I am hotter than facebook, and friendster, because I seem to be the hub of the network. They kept asking me "You know this fella, named [insert name], our age one leh..[insert school].?".. Huh..??...

Waited for Jacq for almost 1 and a half hour.  So, when she reached, we had to repeat the whole story all over again. Next time, we have to set the time, come on time, and then we can spare the time to repeat again.

Did I mention Yiling's 2 elder sister came along too? And I find the eldest sister,Eiling, too cam-whorish. It was always the camera and her. Or the camera and food. Or the camera and drink. But most of the time, camera and her. Her 2nd sister, Ziling, is always so hyper, and expressive. Yiling's the normal one, I think. But I envy her lah, because she doesn't need to switch on the tv for entertainment. There's always the sisters to watch. Really damn expressive okay..

And they called Jasmin Saw along. Jasmin's 3 years my senior, not bad, not bad...coming into UTP to do postgrad this June..Lol, it's a small world eh..

Yiling and Yeesan. I stopped calling Yeesan, Michelle since don't know when. Hehhe.. easier that way. In high school, there were 5 Michelles in my batch alone..

Jacq and Yiling.

I really miss those hang-outs.
And congratulations to Yiling, working with a high pay every month, I am sooooooooo close to quitting Engineering and come join you!

(why I look so nerdy one....)

and Yeesan commented ever since I joined UTP, I got so boring and all..always with tech stuffs and talking about engineering stuffs..OI, mana ader??

and Yiling finally learned how to serve the net, for free, using her N95, thanks to...*akhem*..yours truly.

And they left me with muscle-strained thighs..

Anehhh...not the food lah...ish!!
(But I have to comment on UCITY's family day's breakfast..it wasss goooddd...No the usual nasi lemak, or bihun goreng kinda thing..just pure plain breakfast..and I love it..)

Aah, did I mention UCITY's Family Day?

Now, PLEASE do not think I only get happy when there's food.

Akosua did comment on me, and food..You know what she said?

I was telling her I want to take a breather, skip the boring speeches and go out to see what's there to eat..
and she said,
"Aah, yeah, you and the food..Now, go..go along now..When there's food, Angkhian's not too far away.."

So "cha dau" okay..

After the food, the real 'torture' comes in.

We were first divided into 8 groups, a mixture of lecturers, technicians, GA's and students.
Just my luck to get into an all-guys group, and the lecturer incharged was Dr. Fadhil, the Head of Civil Engineering Department.
G-R-E-A-T. The best part has yet to come..

Sometimes when you are unhappy with something, you've gotta make "peace" with it..

Dr.Fadhil came out with the phrase, "So many thorns among ONE rose.." and I looked around..
Oooh, that must be me he's talking about.
Suddenly, I felt that there's hope for him afterall..hahaha..(ok, no offence intended, please don't call me again..)

After presenting our war-cry, we were proceeded to complete a series of games, in various checkpoints. Now, the painful part comes in.
We were required to run around, lie on hard grounds, do duck-walks, and things which I used to do when I was a kid.
I think I strained my thigh muscles while doing the duck-walk, because the few days back, I had some serious badminton games, which required me to run around the court, so I did exercise and the pain didn't come.
Now, my mum thinks I tore my muscle.

I am now limping everywhere I go. And the most painful thing is to climb the stairs. I nearly cried, and nearly fall twice now. It hurts so much that I swear I am not going to duck-walk anymore.

It was not only a physical challenge, but also mentally. We were given a pile of fruits and vegetables, and then asked to finish them. I don't know how clean the things were, but to win, we actually gobbled in everything. Yer, and to think some of the cucumbers were rolled on the ground..Yerrrr...

There were a few oranges, half a big watermelon, a few carrot sticks, a few tomatoes (extra big), a few cucumbers, a few bananas. Can you imagine?
We were practically in tears, trying to finish the fruits up. I think we were overdose with Vitamin C's and Vitamin E's then.

After this mental-torturing segment, we were asked to do something more Civil-related. To build the highest and most stable structure, using only newspaper and cello tape. Hard? Nah, we always have this game, in ALL Civil-related events. We were asked to build one of those using straws before too!
After testing our smart-genes, we were asked to play a game of filling up the bottle.

Under the hot sun, we were asked to fill up 2 bottles, using only a sponge.

Then our group realized it was kinda slow if we were to only use sponge. So we put water into our mouths too..

We did this a couple of rounds, before the other teams realized and we were ahead. We came in 3rd, mainly because when it was my turn, my hands were frickin small, so the water carried also kurang lah..

This is Yazid. He's quite cool. Friendly guy.
Selari with the theme, "Bond Without Boundaries", I guess the objective was achieved. That day, despite the differences in religion, colour, gender, we pulled it off pretty well.
Crap to those who say some of us are racist, colour-ist, gender-ist.., there are those who can still live side-by-side pretty well..we can talk about a lot of things, and I have to be honest, some people, they get angry because they do not understand.

Therefore, that day, I asked Dhamina, a friend of mine, about Hedonisme. She explained to me, in good string of words and at the end, she asked me whether I am offended and whether I can accept it.
I smiled and told her, "It's okay if you can't accept Hedonisme, or whatever that comes along with it. In fact I am curious to know about what you guys believe in. I believe people get mad when they don't understand why some people are against such things so much..And I hope you don't get offended with me being so curious.."

She smiled. And she answered, "No-lah, lagi saya gembira kalau Angkhian nak tau..sebab kami nak bagitau supaya orang paham.."

I guess we understood how things are now. And to some people who have strong views with the current Hedo-nisme or something, sometimes, we just have gotta look at the other point of view. It's not entirely their fault to believe in such things, we've just gotta be tolerant at one point. However, to those who felt strongly about excessive entertainment, sometimes, we just can't expect people to live the way we live your lives. Up to one point, there must be a limit for tolerance, right? Can't just expect everyone to follow your way of living entirely.

[I STRONGLY HEREBY DECLARE I AM A NEUTRAL PARTY. I DON'T CARE ABOUT WHAT YOU BELIEVE, OR WHAT THEY BELIEVE, OR WHAT YOU WANT TO BELIEVE. I AM PRETTY MUCH A MALAYSIAN, I GREW UP WITH UJANG AND GILA-GILA, I ATE ULAM, I SPEAK IN PRETTY NATIVE MALAY, YET AT THE SAME TIME, I GREW UP WITH A CHINESE FAMILY, I SPEAK CANTONESE THOUGH NOT FLUENTLY, I EAT FORBIDDEN MEALS, I DRINK OCASSIONALLY, I CUSS MOST OF THE TIME (OFFLINE), I SPEAK CONSIDERABLY WELL ENGLISH, I WATCH AMERICAN PIE (AND ALL OTHER ENGLISH SERIES), I SOMETIMES WATCH *P--N, SO IN CONCLUSION, I AM A TRUE MALAYSIAN, NO ANY SORT OF COLOUR DIFFERENCE..OH YEAH, I AM A FREE THINKER.]

Back to the event, our team ended up 4th place. Not bad at all..

Our war cry: GROUP 3, "CONCRETE!", GROUP 3, "CONCRETE!"

Suka Ati lah nak buat apa war cry..you jangan ketawa!

Overall, I believe the UCITY family day has achieved what we would call INTEGRATION (of the faculty). Not everyone turned up, but at least we know, those who came, got their RM8's worth, and also, a new friendship, at the end of the day..

UCITY's FAMILY DAY JAN'2008.

Often we heard about ambulance on the road, but ever since air ambulance was introduced, how many of us would have known that the public would be using it?
But if you were to read articles about air ambulance, you would find that many have been using air ambulance services from Florida, California, Arizona, New York and even Hawaii! I guess sometimes, some patients cannot be treated in a certain hospital due to lack of facilities, that they have to be send to receive treatment in other hospitals. Some hospitals can be 200kms away, so the fastest transportation would be the air ambulance.
Though it's pretty common that some of them were send by helicopters and jets, but air ambulance is equipped with all the medical equipment with a medical flight team which are professionals. You will be ensured to receive 100% care in the air, without the fear of being sick in the airplane. There will also be nurses with you, giving you attention that you need.
Currently, 50 states have this air ambulance service, but I am not sure whether Malaysia has this service or not. It would be good if Malaysia government were to have such services, so that in case anyone needs surgery and in a critical condition, they will be able to get attention very quickly.

Their team are specialists in medical flight. They transport patients with Flight nurses and Flight Paramedics onboard an air ambulance with state of the art medical equipment. All aircraft are approved by the FAA for air ambulance with life support equipment onboard. They give the same attention and support to all patients, from Basic to Critical Care:

Including: Stroke, Cancer, Fragile Patients, Heart and Transplant Patients, among many others.

All air ambulance medical team members are trained in flight physiology. These include Registered Nurses, Respiratory Therapists and Registered Flight Paramedics on board. They can arrange to have a physician or even your own doctor on board as well.
They coordinate from bedside to bedside to make your family or patient have the smoothest trip possible. Their staff has over 20 years experience. They have gained the trust of hospitals worldwide and their support is available 24 hours a day.

If you are in the States,
Call them at the air ambulance dispatch! 1-800-827-0745 or International (USA country code)+305.868.5378.

It's 2 in the morning, going to sleep soon.
The rain's gonna pour, a little introduction from the lightning and thunder first. Tonight's gonna be a slumber for me, I really need the sleep.

It's getting cold. I miss home already. Gosh! I just came back from home last night, and am missing it already. I won't be going back this weekend, gotta do some charity thing in some ORANG ASLI kampung near Cameron Highlands. Shhh..don't tell my parents weh, I didn't let them know. For sure they won't feel happy with me going about, it's 30 days to Finals..

Cold weather and I am thinking of the "Fried Lobak" I had for lunch in Tai Thong Restaurant last Sunday.
The steamy soft lobak "gou", bean sprout added, with a tinge of dried prawns..

Yeah, they added Kuchai too..hehe..

The picture is mouth-watering enough I supposed?

And do you know GRAPES are the easiest fruit you can get on market? What I meant by easiest is you don't need to peel the skin, or worry about the seeds, all you gotta do is just buy SEEDLESS GRAPES, rinse/wash them, and then you can just eat them! Some may prefer them skinless, but I ain't complaining. If they don't need de-skinning, it's good enough!

Bought myself a bunch (very small bunch indeed), cost me RM9.50 okay..The lady said it's RM15.00 per kilo, and I blindly said yes. I had to eat some fruits okay..so I bought it, half wishing I did not..I was suddenly RM10 poorer..

I went home, told my mum about it, and she confirmed that it's around that price. Good, not cheated, a good thing. However, she warned me about eating (too much) grapes. Apparently this fruit is not as healthy as oranges and apples. See, sometimes, too easy punya things also not good lah..

Now, who can volunteer to peel oranges for me? Or de-skin apple?
I am not lazy lah..just feel like it's not worth my time..hehe..OKLAH-OK, LAZY LOR...

Rain poured finally. Aah, Good Morning peeps, I am off to bed!
