Happy Birthday, Michelle Koo.

Today's April 1st, and I still remember, though I am not sure whether she reads my blog. To those who have long gone forgotten about her, let me remind you that another friend of yours have blossomed into a young adult, turning 21.

Back to what I've wanted to write about, are about slot machines you see in casinos. I don't get the JACKPOT machines, claiming to return one whole bucket of tokens, and if you are lucky, you can even win a car! But unlike card games, you know it's about putting your bets at the right time, a little bit of skills, and a dose of luck so that you can get the card you want.
Slots machines are probably for those aunties and uncles who know nuts about gambling, but yet still wanna try their luck to win something. So, they pretend to be a smart-ass, sit in front of the machines, keep pressing whatever buttons that are in front of the screen. Let's just say you would know when they win, (when the light keeps blinking, and the machine made loads of noise, and suddenly, everyone stops what they are doing and come look at your money fall into the BIG bucket.)

How can you change slots machines so that you can win the money by using skills and alot of persistence?

Now, you can try online slots, anytime you want. You can ensure that you can see alot of different types of slots in the online site. And so many types of slots with "chio" names that you would have fun sitting down, just to play with one. From the website, you can get information about how to play slots, the payout for each set of slots, and the bonus given out.

Just a solution to those who have nothing to do at home, but sit there, only thinking of ways to double..no, wait, tripple..err...infinite them. Onlineslotcity may just be the answer to a better lifestyle.

Did I mention it's April Fool's Day?

Neh, how could you not know what day, today is..
It's the day when THE FOOLS try to trick the non-FOOLs..

Luckily, CIVIL faculty students are not so into such silly culture. The EE faculty students were.
TeeHooi told me that the night before, they kept lying to one another, saying that there's gonna be a test today..AIYO, how can a test suddenly sprung up one?? Use brain pikirlah cikit

Today, they tried to do something to me.
At 4 in the evening, I was about to go for a nap, suddenly my phone rang.

On the other side of the line,
"Hello, is this AngKhian..I am a lecturer..Mr..errr err...I want to see you now in the office.."

I was surprised. What did I do again?
"Hello..what do you want to see me for?"

He was taken aback with the question. So, damn smart the fella came out with this answer..
"Actually the issue is pretty complicated,..err..it's better if we see one another face to face.."

I sorta know it was his voice. Cilakak..he used one weird handphone number..
So, selambanya, I replied, "Ok, you wait for me okay?? Where are you? Which office?"

"Office..erm..erm..23! Come.."

He hung up.

Then I quickly gtalk TeeHooi, telling her that I think he might have been the one who pranked me. I decided to play along.

He called the 2nd time. I picked up.

"Is this Ms. AngKhian? Where are you?"

I tried to stop cussing..
"Yeah, in the room. I am coming. Please wait.."

He hung up the 2nd time.
I continued with my blogging.

2 minutes later, he called back.

"Hello, is this Ms. Angkhian? I called to wish you April Fool!"

"Oh...."

Aah! Right back at ya! No reaction at all..hahaha..

Then selambanya I told him, "Actually hor, FookYong, I have your number already lah.."
I double checked with TeeHooi.

"HAH?? HOW CAN?? WHY YOU HAVE MY NUMBER?"

*whistle-whistle*

Gotta be a bit smarter to prank me lah..adoi!

Today, took 3 hours off to visit T.E.C - Technology, Education and Career.
First mission: TAKE ALL THE FREEBIES.
Second mission: TAKE ALL THE FREEBIES.
Third mission: TAKE ALLLLLLL THE FREEBIES. LEAVE NO MAN NOTHING BEHIND..

and yeah, trying to scout companies which offer Internship Programmes.

Good T.E.C this year. Over 50 companies exhibiting their booths, and also interviewing Fresh Graduates.
and I couldn't be bothered with what's happening. I just wanted to skip classes and have fun!

(me trying to see how big the wheel is..fuuhhh, luckily can grab with one hand..)

Yeah, you always see this F1 car videogame thing during exhibition for Formula ONE. Cheh, now, we get to see it in UTP. *Bangga!* and tak payah bayar sesen pun!!

(the person in charge trying to explain to me, what are the gears for..it's easy really..the key is to control the wheel properly and step on the accelerator)

And PETROSAINS even bought in the ANTI-GRAVITY spinning ball thing. You sit in it, and turn 360 degrees. I didn't sit in it, I am getting old, remember?

Damn yeng man this shot! Don't play-play..future F1 driver in the making okay..(actually got sesat in the game..ended up last place)

Psstt..at least better than ShiouTing lah..her car engine got spoilt, and then she jahanamkan the wiring of the game..Gone, terus the fella gantung tanda 'ROSAK' after that..LOL..

*Some parts of the story may be exaggerated.*

It was his birthday yesterday..

>>>

He's known as 'Xiao Chiu' by his boyfriend. But to us, he's known as Kian Chiew. Chiew Chiew. 焦焦..kekeke..

Due to the time factor, all of us had to rush to Ipoh to celebrate his birthday-lah. He's from the Chemical Faculty, so the majority who went were from Chemical, and a couple of those from other faculties.

The 17 of us crammed into the Pizza Hut's restaurant.

The senario was, the 6 of us arrived earlier, trying to finish 2 large pizzas and 2 regular size pizzas and the other bread sticks and soups. The rest came much later, while we only had 30 minutes to spare before the movie.

Some had to watch the show first before commencing on dinner.

Movie was da bomb! Ah Long Pte Ltd! Fann Wong, you are my girl!! Damn, I swear if I am a guy, I would have wet dreams last night..Hehhe..

Kee Hui told me I finally know what type of people I want liao..haha..silly him lah! Takkan go all the way to S'pore meh..

After the movie, we did return to Pizza Hut, only this time, we brought out the hidden cake.

Another boy was also sharing the same birthdate. Joshua Ling, only that he's one year older.

It was just simply disappointing that I had to leave early that night. Too much workload in hand, I have no extra time to spare..

Trying to fit everyone in..

Well, happy birthday KianChiew.

I am happy for you, and the person who makes you happy. It's alright to be different, as long as you are happy..hehehe..

Oh, to be fair, we also celebrated Joshua's birthday 2 nights before. Kenneth actually cheated him to mamak, but in actual fact, was leading him to McDonalds in Ipoh. Joshua was plain acting lah, coz impossible you wouldn't know where you are heading right?

The 'early morning' was spend in McD, chit chat random craps, and we head back to UTP about 3am. Pictures to be available soon. Must be good shit, since it was taken with Kenneth's new Sony Alfa. RM3000 punya camera, don't play play...

You know how sometimes you will sub-consciously be attracted to certain products though you find no usage in them, but something always urge you to buy them?
How sometimes, you turn on the set, and you flip to channels which offers you direct selling on air?
Or if you have a product to sell and you find that selling at the pasar malam no longer works?

Maybe you should try DRTV. No, not the DDTV, or ADTV, but plain DRTV.
Don't know what's DRTV??

>> DRTV/direct response television - Refers to a commercial or infomercial that asks the viewer/audience to do something/buy something. Thus, the infomercial urges the viewer to directly respond to it.

The best time to surf the net in UTP, is in the 'EARLY' mornings. 3am I am still awake, keep looping "酷爱" by Hins or rather, 张敬轩. Quite an emo song, but with a fast tempo. You've gotta listen to the lyrics. Please download the song lah, quite nice lah actually..
Today's a sucky day, got back my test results, can campak lah! I practically screwed all my TESTs 1. Gotta pull myself together and prepare myself for the final battle. I think I just woke my roommate up. Uh-oh..

And HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Kenneth. Too many birthdays this month, I am getting dry..

Everytime you hear the word BRAZIL, things which cross your mind most probably would be FOOTBALL, or RONALDO..
But today, if you were to mention the word BRAZIL, I can give you a thousand reasons why, BRAZIL can be just the ideal place for you to live in.

Brazil is more than beaches and Carnival, but that would be enough reason to travel there.

Brazil is the largest country in South America, taking up almost half of the continent, extending from north of the Equator to south of the Tropic of Capricorn. It's population of around 180 million is the largest in South America. It's 2 major cities, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janiero are among the largest in world. The nation's natural beauty is reflected in its variety of geographic locations, from Sugar Loaf Mountain in the city of Rio de Janeiro, to the magnificent Iguazu Falls in the south, to the Amazon basin in the North, there's something for almost every taste... snow skiers excepted.

So, it's no wonder, the Property in Brazil is in good price now. And some of you may asked, why buy Brazil Property when you are halfway around the globe..it's hard to be convinced by someone inexperienced like me, to try to lure you into buying one of these:

BRAZIL APARTMENTS

Just by the look of the pictures, you are probably 40% convinced about how BRAZIL's developers are serious in making you feel like home in their country.

For a couple of weeks, we have entertainment lined up in the Chancellor Hall. Last week, we had Euphonious '08 - the battle of the bands. Last night, we had FESCO - Festival Colours of the World, carrying the theme, "Integration through Culture Arts".
(Next week, we can expect ICN - International Colourful Night)

None of my housemates went. So, I went with the others.
No need to name lah, you probably know who's who.

Basically FESCO is about 10 universities coming to UTP, dancing the different cultural dances in Malaysia. In short, TARIAN lah..

You can get dances from Sabah, Sarawak, Perak, or the kinds of Malay dances..and Chinese, and even Banghra!

I didn't manage to stay for the whole show. Shall write about it, when I have the time.

It was a waste lah..coz I think it would be awesome to stay for the whole show.

I personally like the dance (above), named "Wayang Kulit" by UKM.
I wished I recorded it or something..it was real cute, and you've gotta get the meaning of the dance.

After the whole show ended, they had an open floor, and asked the Rector to go on stage. (I think). They taught him to dance.

Quite silly to miss the rest of the show, but it was certainly RM5 worthy of my money.
Seriously, the only time we get to see all types of dances would be the country's event, but they brought it to UTP. Really proud to be under PETRONAS, all the students here should appreciate their Student ID number here.

After 5 days of break, we are expecting another interesting event of the semester: ICN (International Colour Night) where this time, we will be seeing students from different countries, performing.

Kinda emo lately.

Dunno why I feel like I don't fit anywhere, anymore.

Like today, in EDX's roadshow, I see so many juniors around. I don't know whether to strike a conversation or just keep quiet. I chose to let my ego take over me, kept quiet.
I don't know what's wrong.
I just felt like I didn't belong anywhere.

Sigh, I really need to do something about things, starting with myself.

You know your friendly tele-communication service provider, MAXIS.com.my??
Not only they provide shitty services, the call charges are so damn high as well..
The whole night I was trying to call, text, but non got through.
My phone kept displaying the phrase "No access to network".

I nearly threw my phone onto the ground.
I was cursing so damn loud that I think I attracted unwanted attention.

Tonight I am super angry with MAXIS. I missed dinner and had to attend 2 meetings, so by 12am, I was hungry and kept calling everyone in the campus, but the stupid MAXIS network was so screwed up that I couldn't get through anyone. Farking shit~

At the end, I couldn't find anyone, and I am sitted right here, didn't eat anything. I shall skip this meal and wait for the sun to come.

Monday's sucky.
I hate Mondays. Today's extra special.

This week is so stressful.
And the bridge project's not helping at all.
So time consuming.

I don't have time for extra nonsense.
MAXIS's not helping! I paid RM90 per month, not for some shitty service. Tomorrow, if I am free, I will write a complaint letter to MAXIS sdn bhd, and give them a piece of my mind.
If they go on like this, they should step down, and let someone take over. Or I will switch.

Today, I went down the stairs, with a heavy heart.
Many things were playing in my head as I walked slowly towards class.

I wonder how significant I am to the people in this world. Ok, let's zoom in a little.
How significant I am to the people in this university.

For instance, what if suddenly, something bad happened to me, who would come to my help?
Or worst still, if I suddenly had to leave this world, would anyone actually notice my disappearance?
Would anyone actually know I am gone?

I am not blaming anyone. Maybe I didn't do well for my part.
Maybe I am just not a people's person. I don't know how to communicate well. Just don't know how to mingle around.

I can't even bring myself to smile at my high school junior in gym just now.
Am I turning into an unfriendly beast?

I teared. While walking to class.
Have I not made an impact towards anyone, throughout my 2 years here in UTP?
Would I have no one standing outside the Chancellor Hall, holding bouquet of flowers, waiting for me?

Did I do something wrong?
I've tried, making up to it, but I just don't seem to fit anywhere.

Why ah? What's wrong with me?

Only we are still going shopping on foot, my aunt has been so hyped about buying things off the internet, with just the click of her mouse. Everything is as easy as choosing the things you want, charging them to her credit card, and then suffer from heart attack at the end of the month. Well, of course for her, it's easy for a pharmacist to go shopping anywhere she wants, with the big fat cheque of hers. (You should probably realize that pharmacist make lotsa money, over there, of course, (not here lah!)

Today, I shared a good news with her lah. About this website. From there, she (and also you lah!) can get online promotional codes for Amazon, Travelocity, eHarmony, Smart Bargains, Walmart, Target and Overstock.com. So cool right or not? Now, not only you can be hyped about the YEAR END SALES, you can also be hyped over the SALES with the online coupons you can get. PROMOTION PRICE okay?? Don't have to wait till the end of the year to buy that something with an affordable price!

"The BestOnlineCoupons.com website provides discount coupons and promotion codes to help shoppers save at their favorite online stores. There are thousands of coupons, promo codes and discount offers, which can be browsed by category or merchant. There are 19 different categories such as Clothing, Computers, Office Supplies and Travel and around 700 different merchants.
The site is updated constantly, with new discounts, promotional codes and special offers added every day. Users to the site can browse New Coupons to see the latest deals, Expiring Coupons to catch offers before they expire, and Hot Coupons to see those that are most popular with other users of Best Online Coupons.

BestOnlineCoupons.com is completely free to use. There is no cost. In fact, no registration is required."

So many kinds of online coupons can be grabbed from this website. Those who are interested in keeping a tight watch on their weight, can easily find bodybuilding.com coupons and get the exercise machine you've always wanted. Why wait for the price in the mart to drop, while you can always get them with a cheaper price, online. (Don't forget, the longer you wait, the fats ain't gonna burn themselves!)

Electronics fanatics can always go to the Discount Electronics Coupon section, and browse what kind of promotional coupons you can get. Apparently, there's a coupon on saving $300 on a SONY VAIO. Wow, that can really help alot.! And never forget to send bouquet of flowers to your loved one, on their important date! Send gifts or flowers, just off the net, and also with an online coupon for the best deals. You don't want to forget that important date, do you?

Internet is such a wonderful tool now, and with such best deals, you can never get enough of it~

Apparently Sushi King has a promotion for ALL PLATES OF SUSHI, with just RM2! Read all about it here. I am not going to promote Sushi King's promotion [because simply I am slightly sore that I did not apply for the restaurant's card] plus I wasn't there to witness all the sushis myself. Damn!

However, in the midst of studying for 2 tests which is held tomorrow, I did make time (note: I MADE TIME) to Ipoh to the All-So-Famous-Sushi-East in Ipoh Garden East to have dinner. I made time; it's all about TIME MANAGEMENT!..hehe, ok..who am I kidding..It was the usual meal for me: Salmon Donburi and Seaweed Salad. I don't have to bother telling the waitress what I want to eat, because all of them do know what I was going to order. I always order the SAME food, everytime. You call me boring, I would prefer to call myself, persistent! Lolz!

Anyway, I bumped into a girl, whom I think was my junior back in MGS. She was in the Girl Guide's Society, and from my vivid memory, she used to be this girly, outgoing girl in the coy, but yesterday, I saw her as a tomboy, dressed in baggy jeans, with a men's shirt, and damn, she was in very short hair. (Ok, at this point, my friend who was also there, said the descriptions fit into mine as well) *Chee-bye* betul!
So, my point is, someone who can change so drastically over the 2 years after her high school, something must have went wrong somewhere. I wonder why. Hmmm...(looks at the mirror).

Think I've been boring my readers lately, with paid posts. Oklah, oklah..shall go back to EMO posts from now onwards...

When we were way much younger, we used to watch alot of cartoons which features with backgrounds of the wild wild west. I somehow, think, some of the boys who grew up with the wild wild west, might have secretly dreamt to be a cowboy one day.
We can never say it's ridiculous, because dreams are always funny to some people.

The National Finals Rodeo, organized by the
Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, is the premier championship rodeo event in the United States. Basically, if you are clueless about what Rodeo is, it's about a sport which arose out of the working practices of cattle herding in Spain, Mexico, and later the United States, Canada, South America and Australia. It was based on the skills required of the working vaqueros and later, cowboys, of what today is the western United States, western Canada, and northern Mexico. Today it is a sporting event that consists of several different timed and judged events that involve cattle and horses, designed to test the skill and speed of the human cowboy and cowgirl athletes who participate.

Wrangler Jeans is the title sponsor for the 10-day event, commonly just called the National Finals or NFR, which is also sometimes referred to as the World Series of Rodeo and the Super Bowl of Rodeo. The NFR is held each year in the first full week of December, at the Thomas & Mack Center on the campus of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Bucking horse at the Calgary Stampede.

I know some group of people who cares about animals' welfare might argue that such rodeo activities provoke animal cruelty, but on the other hand, I am interested in watching this National Finals Rodeo. The closest thing which we can get in Malaysia is the horse race you see during the weekends.

It's gonna be an eye-opening experience, to see the cows and horses for once. Different kind of sports mah!
So, those who are in the States, you can start to get the
National Final Rodeo tickets from now onwards.

The internet is a friendly place.
If you don't know anything about something, you can always google it.
If you want to know more about web designing and other stuff related to web design, you can always visit
seo blog. On this blog you'll find a lot of information about search engine optimization, web directories, different tools/softwares, CSS, website templates and so on. Basically, everything that you wish to know can be found in this website. At the moment, the hottest topic discussed in this website, would be about the pagerank. "How can you discover a page’s PageRank? You can use the Google toolbar. (I explain in a moment why you can never find out the true PageRank.) You should install the Google toolbar, which is available for download at toolbar.google.com. Each time you open a page in Internet Explorer 5.0 or later, you see the page’s PageRank in a bar. If the bar is all white, the PageRank is 0. If it’s all green, the PageRank is 10."

See, these are one of the few things that you would find useful in this webste. Stylishdesign.com, comes in a nice wordpress format, and is easily to be read. Carrying the title "The blog where web design and style meets", it certainly proves their word.

I saw this on the internet, and I found it pretty useful for those who are currently taking Information Technology (IT) or Business Information System (BIS), well, better known as ICT.

Global Knowledge (www.globalknowledge.com), a worldwide leader in IT and business training, recently conducted a study on the Information Technology (IT) profession and job market.

In Conjunction with TechRepublic, Global Knowledge conducted the polls and compiled the data contained with the “2008 IT Skills and Salary Report.”  The survey report contains statistics regarding IT professionals’ educational backgrounds, salary history, and job satisfaction. The report also includes information about the future of IT in terms of innovation, job growth, and projected changes in compensation.

A little excerpt of the survery:

"The good news is that salaries are rising. So whatever your

X factor, be it your skill level, your specialization, or the fact

that you recently added more letters after your name, you

can count on one fact: the rate at which your salary increases

is proportional to the extent that you take personal

responsibility for your continued education."

Therefore, to those who are still unsure why they are doing this course, can be a little relieved now as you are looking at a big fat pay cheque at the end of the day. From this survey, you would be able to read more about what the industries are looking for. Whether the age and experience matters, or what kind of field of IT, they are looking out for.

If you are gonna graduate soon, then you can always check out the IT Salary Survey to foresee your soon-to-be-pay-cheque.

Last weekend, I went to get myself into trouble: I joined a 2D1N trip to enjoy nature, with the Rotaractors in a Native Village (Orang Asli), in Kg. Paung, on the way to Cameron Highlands.

I woke up that Friday morning, with a swollen eye. I felt slight hesitant to go on with the trip, seeing my condition at that time, but then again, this would be my last term in this club, and I've been missing alot of their activities (due to unforeseen circumstances!), so I told myself, "Aiyoo, one swollen eye nia ma..."

I departed from UTP at 4pm, with Leong and Jasmit.
To be frank, Jasmit and I weren't in good terms, because of a mistake I made when I was doing my treasurey work. I had a bad impression on him soon after and we never acknowledge each other's presence even though we were in the same committee. Nevermind that, but when I first saw him in the car with Leong, deep inside, I was beginning to think that coming for the trip was a bad idea.
But I knew, the 2 days is gonna be torturing if one of us don't make the first move to be in good terms. Well, takkan you want the two of us to be scowling at each other right? So, in the car, I tried to make small talks, while hoping that he got the hint, and we can (y'know), be friends, at least for the 2 days.

It worked! I mean, we started talking, our conversations involved Leong, but heck! the improvement's there. We cannot expect miracles in such a short period of time right?

There was 22 of us, but 3 of us only started our journey at 4pm. The rest left early in the morning to Gua Musang, to help out
Pfizer with the health screening.  Frankly, I am an ignorant with such things, only then I knew about this company called Pfizer.

According to Jeremy, (the organizer of this project), the directions he gave us was
"After the traffic light junction, the Kampung is about 20kms away..You see a brick house, and then a small road to turn in. There lah!"

So, Leong (the driver), set his millage metre, and roughly about 20kms away, there was a junction to turn in. There were a few brick houses too. But Leong didn't turn in, because the car's engine stopped right in front of the junction. He said to wait for Jeremy and the rests who have yet to come. In the midst of reviving his car engine, a man in a motorcycle came and wanted to turn into the junction.
So, I asked him, (for reconfirmation), whether that was Kg. Paung. He shook his head.
He said, the place he's turning into, is Kg. Alang-Alang..(Yeah,..what a name!)
He told us that our destination is still 10km ahead.

The rain begin to pour. Leong finally got his car started, and off we went, cursing Jeremy for his bad directions. We went ahead, trying to find the brick house, and the small road leading into the kampung. By that time, the rain was getting heavier, and the mist was thicker. We eventually overshoot from the place, until we met a konvoi of 4 cars coming from our opposite direction. We took a U-TURN back.

We reached a place, where there was a big telecommunication tower.
Leong scolded Jeremy for not stating that obvious landmark, but Jeremy insisted that the last time he was there, the tower was not there yet. It was true, because the workers were still working on it.

At about 7.30pm, we settled down, and we were divided into 4 group colours. The first assignment for PURPLE (which was group) and BLUE was to cook dinner for the whole team. Wahliao, let me remind you that there was no electricity, all we had was wood, coal, and the food they bought for us to cook. We had difficulty preparing the food as we had challenges with the new place, the darkness and the inability to cook! (for some of us). We managed to pull it off, with me and Shamini cooking a pot of broiled cabbages, carrots and onions, heated sardines with oyster sauce and kolo maggi mee. You wouldn't want to know how we managed to pull it off, but I wanna share with you our little conversation.

While cooking the cabbages,
Me: Eh, the water boil d right, can dump in the veges already..
Shamini: Yeah, err..can lah...

After dumping in..
Me: Eh, the veges all in right?
Shamini: Yeah kot..cannot see lah..

While waiting,
Me: Ok, now put in chicken stock..
Shamini: Ok, nah..
Me: Put in how many cubes ah?? Lantak lah...
(Put 2 whole cubes into the pot)

Trying to taste the soup,
Me: Ok ah?
Shamini: Ok, you taste and see.. like missing something..
Me: Err..what is that something a??
Shamini: You taste first..
Me: Err..like..salt? and oyster sauce..?
Shamini: Yeah yeah!!

Ok, maybe it doesn't sound hilarious here, but if you were there with us, you would have laughed at our randomness and silliness! The dinner was good, considering so many factors, but the bucket of KFC chicken that Rtn Arthur and Jesicca brought with them, was probably the reason why the dinner was good.

After cleaning up, the used-to-be King Scouts, Scouts, Guides, pretend-to-know-something people, went to start a camp fire. Yeah mah, no electricity, no phone line, no entertainment, of course have to figure out something to do..

We played alot of campfire games, and such ocassion, we will always end with someone telling Ghost Stories. I didn't pay attention, because that day, according to the Chinese Calender, it was "Ching Ming'', when people will pay their respects to their ancestors.
After the story-telling by Mr. Bernard Ho, one of the volunteers of Pfizer, we all went to the stream to dip our feets. It was then, at 12am. How stupid we can get right?

Nevermind, the water was brrrrrrrrr...cold..and we went to bed straightafter. We were gonna have a long day the next morning. I tried to get some sleep, but I was in a sleeping bag, on a hard, bamboo flooring. I had no pillow and I couldn't get any sleep. I tried to get some shut eyes, and eventually I did get a decent 2-hours sleep. One of them, who did not wash his feet clean, claimed to hear weird screeching of a baby. *Shivers*.
Now you know why the elders tell us to clean our feet before climbing to bed?

The next morning, everyone overslept. Only YennPing woke up at 8 something, whereas the rest woke up at 9. Apparently, there were stray dogs that came to our kitchen that day, and Mr.Bernard Ho was busy cleaning up the mess.
We had hot tea and biscuits for breakfast. After that, we were given a list of tasks, that we have to complete them at the end of the day, to see which team is the best team. Only 2 out of 4 teams would be crowned as the winner.

The challenges has connections with the Orang Asli, in conjunction with the purpose of our lil trip to Kg.Paung. One of them required us to take pictures with the kids, with one kid on one of the members' shoulders.

And also, teaching the kids an English word/phrase..

Of course the trip was not purely about fun, we had to help out with the health screening. Even though we were not the one providing the health screens, but we had to make sure that Pfizer gets all the help needed. So, in the end, some of us abandoned the challenges and helped out with the Pfizer team, whereas the other half went to prepare lunch for all of us.
This time, the other teams got an upperhand of day light, so there was less commotion. They finally came out with the lunch menu: "Chicken Curry(from the can!), boiled cabbage (not as nice as ours), and also fried maggi mee with sambal). This time around, there was no more paper plates, so we all had to use the banana leaves as the plate. Eating was with hands.

After lunch, the guys suggested to go for a swim in the stream, so off we went. We were in the water for almost 2 hours, and it was really good therapy. To get out from the hectic rat-race, and relax in the water. The jacuzzi-alike feel you can get from the water flow energy. All of us took the opportunity to unwind from the assignments and stress from the university.

About 4pm, when the rain begin to pour, we cleared up and did a small closing ceremony.
We left to Ipoh, for a decent dinner, and back to civilization. I thought I was able to handle this trip, like I did, in rural service in Kg. Liman Kati, in Kuala Kangsar, but I was wrong. The two situation was different, and I really had to rough out to survive in the wild. Coming to this trip, with no close friends was tough, as I was not really close this group of rotaractors, but it was certainly a good experience.

And for the first time, I learned how to use a lastik. The first few attempts were painful, but after the first shot, you get addicted. Thanks to this 2 wonderful kids.

Just another website giving free tutorials on how the internet works, and the components of internet. When I first open it, I saw lines of words, which quickly reminds me of my Transportation Engineering textbook. Too many words, even more than my blog! The first article of the website was about "when and why to use validation". Ok, I know peanuts about using validation or how its impact to the internet, or your website, or what-so-ever lah..but looking at the length of the article, and considering how miniscule the words are, I am guessing it's a very important subject that those who are doing some internet related should know. After you finished reading the articles, there's also a tool for you to forward the article to a friend, just in case if you wanna share what you've read. In my personal opinion, this website is pretty good-lah, if you want to know more about things on the net. You can always check the archives, and see what you want to see..but then again, like I've mentioned, things would be easier to be read, if the words are bigger and less technical words. However, if anything is altered in this website, the page would lose its classy look. So, it's up to the readers to decide what's best. The look, or the readers' eyes?

I woke up this morning, only to realize my right eye can only open partially.
I looked into the mirror and see that one side of my face has swell up.
Thinking that I may have grown fat, I had my breakfast slowly, before heading home.

When I got my car, I found one stupid saman given by the PakGuard.
Hello, say bye bye to RM30!
It was a Saturday, hello..cannot give exception ge meh??

So, I drove home, and when my mum saw me, she quickly asked me to see the doctor.
In fact, she was so worried that I may have spoilt my kidney..that causes face swelling and bloatness.

I went to see the doctor. An old doctor whom I used to visit when I was younger.

He was surprised to see me again, and apparently he still remembers me. How much I've grown, after 8 years not seeking for his medical advice.

He issued me some medication, and told me that I have an extreme immune system.
Means cannot simply eat anything, cannot simply touch anything, cannot be exposed to hazardous elements.

(Say bye bye to my seafood, beef, alcohol and no smoking!)

Chee-bye lah! Where got life like that?!!!!!
(Anyway, I am not going to care about his advice lah..just gonna move on and live life)

However, I've taken the medication this time around, as the swelling face is scary.
Hope to wake up tomorrow, with a thinner face..

Even though I developed some sort of allergy, this morning, I still woke up, and went to Sitiawan, with my parents, to visit my aunt who recently had a malfunctioned kidney. Apparently, her face got bloated and swell, and she couldn't get up from the bed, and would spend most of her time, sleeping and lying down on the bed. She was so weak and feeble that she cannot even take a step to the loo, but most of the time, she had to force herself, takkan she wanna do her business on the bed meh right?

The reason I forced myself up, is because this aunt is a very kind-hearted person and very good towards her family. When she was younger, she got married to a bus driver who's an Indian. And my grandfather and the eldest uncle, (typical mindset) think that Chinese must only married Chinese, so they sort of outcasted my aunty and the husband. So, they "zhap bao fuk" and left Ipoh to Sitiawan, and my uncle-in-law started a "Yeh Fah Zhao" (Coconut-alcohol) business and made big time. Though everyone looked down on this two, they survived and made it big. Now, they have raised 5 children, and they are living a decent life. So much of saying that Indians wouldn't make it big time right? (Not I say one okay..I quoted only)

Anyway, I went to Sitiawan also, to see her, and since young, she treated my mum the best lah..Like for instance, every Chinese New Year, without fail, she will give me and my brother RM50. Not that it's a big sum of money lah, but then, can see she really sayang us lah..Though my eldest uncle still doesn't acknowledge her, but she still comes down to Ipoh, whenever something happens to her sibblings (my mum has 10 other sibblings!) so can say she is quite good lah..

Went to her house, to find her looking in a pretty good condition. She has started to be able to walk around, and I didn't let her carry the heavy things we brought to her house as a gift. The husband was also doing well, considering he had a mild stroke a year back. So oklah, everyone's doing fine. After an hour of exchanging stories (my aunt and my mum), we left her place after much declination of not having lunch treated by my uncle. We then went to Hailam Village Restaurant for lunch. Sorry, no pictures since I was not feeling well.

On the way home, we passed by Ayer Tawar, a small town which was famous for :

Fuchow "Kom Pheng"

A humble small shop, which we wouldn't have noticed if it wasn't for the big sign board outside.

Dad've always wanted to try one of these since so many people have given thumbs up for this.

Apparently, there are a few kinds of these. To me, it all looks the same, but what makes them different is what's inside. Like Malaysians, all of us look the same outside, what makes us different, is in the inside. haha..

There's this salty one, and sweet one, and a salty sweet one..a sweet with a lil salty one..
I am also not very sure lah, but after testing all 5 different flavours, all tastes the same to me.

One piece of the salty-sweet, salty, salty-salty, got pork, pork free, etc. costs about RM1 per piece,
whereas the sweet one, is only RM0.60 per piece.

(neh, this is sweet one, I bought one to try)

The sweet one is actually, they put sugar inside, and then after it's baked, the sugar melts, leaving a sweet taste, with a tinge of salty taste.

Next time if you happen to pass by this small town, don't forget to look for this shop weh. It's nice the first time you try it. (The 2nd time, I don't know lah...)

Sometimes it's important to read journals in university level, because we need to know how the people come up with interesting thoughts, or generate ideas.
However, it's hard to have good articles come by on the net, because nowadays, plagarism is a serious offence, especially in this tertiary level. So, thank goodness there are talented people who generate dynamic pages in this certain website. In this articles portal, there are over 1300 unique articles available at your finger tips. You can also submit articles which you think can help the website readers as well.

Life's one big joke, isn't it?

When you think you can get pass the semester with the least troubles, you get into the hot soup again. Dang, I think I am this some sort of magnet which attracts unwanted negative energy, that makes people hates me. Or some reasons will cooked up on their own, which cause people to be angry at me. You get the picture lah.
I am not popular here, or anywhere for that matters. Aaarrgghh, I hate human relationships. The complexity of it makes it so hard to grasp and understand. Why can't people just live with one another, and accept each other, for the better or worst?

I really hope I wake up tomorrow, a new person and wouldn't want to look back at past debts. Because I want to just settle it once and for all, no point showing black faces and scowling at each other. Coz simply, I don't know what's wrong. The biggest problem is I don't even know what the problem is.

So, to YOU, I am sorry, for whatever problems I've caused and the factor which triggers all the hatred and angst. I am, afterall, a human being. Yet, I am still clueless what the problem is, but haih, we've gotta move on. Move on and move on..!

Gonna have a quiz later in Hydrology, but ever since the Transportation test, no one actually has the desire to "pia" or study for the quiz. Let's just hope we can do some communication during the quiz.
Anyway, tomorrow's gonna be EDX, 21st edition. I find this time around, this EDX is abit slow and quiet. Not much promotion and *oommmphh!* Maybe most of the people who are taking charge is not from my batch, that's why there's not much hyped about it. Nevermind lah, let's just see what comes out from it this time.
I would love to see how the Opening Ceremony would turn out. I am sure glad last year's EDX Protocol and Ceremony set a very high par for the following committees. But of course, this are all due to the hardwork of my committee members.

Yoke Mun
Marvin
Jialin
Ozzy
Mcharliza
and to the 3 other PRs who helped us along the way.

I will post the pictures up as soon as I can. Coz simply, there's no time for anything now.
I've already promised myself to set myself free from Extra-non-academic-related stuffs next semester onwards. However, I still have the responsibility in Rakan Exco of the MPPUTP next semester. We'll see how it goes. I find that I have lesser times with my friends, and have even lesser time for myself. I need to do some self-recollection next semester onwards, but I doubt that's even possible coz of the ETP assigned next semester! Let's just hope I get a pretty decent company for my Internship and I can rejuvenate then.
(though again, I highly doubt so)

Sorry for not letting go of EDX. Am still pretty proud of the achievement the department got last semester. Probably one of my proudiest moment in life. Then again, from there, I learn not to be too strict with my comrades. Such a pity I learned this, at the later years of my life. Have always been strict with my fellow junior girl guides last time. Aah!

The doctor said I developed a case of extreme immune system due to my bronchitis (however it's spelt) disease when I was younger.
I cannot take seafood (excessively), cannot take alcohol, cannot smoke, cannot inhale smoke, cannot eat anything that is considered "poisonous" to my body.
Sad to say, I have done all the "not-to-do" things in the list. My bad, coz I only recently found out about this. The worst thing is, in my social life, I've been so exposed to the smoke around, since most of the friends I know, often smoke in front of me. My mum blamed the bad influence of them. I can't just deny them, just because they choose to do so right?
Outdoors I cannot control but indoors, back at home, I can do so. To avoid the odor problem, or to prevent allergies, or just want to prevent yourself from breathing in the junk that exists in the air, air purifier plays the important role. There are so many kinds of air cleaners/ air purifiers in the market nowadays, with various size and even with different price tags. These air purifiers are designed to remove allergens and pollutants from the air, which eliminates the smell and odor.

ICN '08 was as expected. We were promised that it would be bigger and better, and certainly different from the past ICNs. I shall leave the judging to the people whom went that day. But to me, it was ok-ok nia, maybe because I'm so used to seeing the different cultures and dances of the 22 other countries in various formal events in the university.

Well, the final verdict is RM7.00 spent. They were quite smart that they charged different prices for the seats. Like for the upper aisle, they charged only RM5.00, and also the seats downstairs, the people had to pay RM7.00 for one seat.

No pictures of the event. I was not feeling well so I only watch as the show goes on.

Crescentia, Me and Carina outside the Chancellor Hall, after ICN.

It has been awhile since the housemates did something together. Ah, I admit I used to spend time with the same clique of people, but hopefully things will take a different toll from now onwards. I've taken the first step by taking dinner in the house, rather than going out.

The whole group of people.
Crescentia, Me, YewTeng, Kenneth, Carina, Sharon, and WuiKeong

After every successfull event in UTP, sure the mamak stalls would be flooded with UTP students. So, like every other time, we would adjourned the lil "outing" to mamak.

Nevermind the calories that night. Coz we don't care. As long as we were happy, making fun of one another.

The most harrased people that night. Damn..

Bringing the camera everywhere we go..

When I was younger, the hype about Friendster was so great that anyone who doesn't own a Friendster account is automatically labelled as "Out"- meaning you live on top of trees and eat bananas..(oklah, i made the last part up) but you get my point. Then, as I grew much older, another same kinda thing sprout out. Facebook was so overrated that everyone became inactive in Friendster, and the crowd shifted to Facebook. I think I was about 16years old when the hype about Facebook started, but I only started to explore it after high school.
And now, there's a new thing which is known as 3GB Community. Beats me with how they came up with the name but the functions they offer is ALMOST similar to Friendster. Maybe it's still new, so most probably this wouldn't turn the people on..So, if you are curious with what 3GB Community, you can join 3gb community www.3gb.biz now..

The lecturer agreed to postpone the super-duper hard test to next week for the 5 of us who are involved in EDX. Hurrah! Glad that he's this one understanding cool guy..

I am writing this as I am doing my duty in the secretariat department, in the booth. Actually nothing much for me to do today, as I've done all the data-entry last night, but am experiencing something new this time around. Giving out information to the participants and people who stop by to ask questions.Something different compared to the responsibilities.

Maybe this semester is not that bad at all.

After 2 days of sleepless nights, it's finally over.
Closing another chapter of EDX, this time around, EDX21 has finally ended.
I must say, frankly, for this edition, people have started to comment on the "un-hyped-ness" of this event. (I know I've been using this word so frequently lately)
Maybe because the juniors have started to take over the whole thing that we never really experienced the adrenaline-pumping moments anymore now. But weird, the juniors too complained that they don't feel EDX anymore.

Both the advisors were not around this time. Probably that's why.. *wink*

But then again, for this edition, joining the Secretariat department is something new and different for me. I know if it wasn't for TeeHooi and Xiyi, I wouldn't make up my mind to take this new department. To try something new and different, is a risk that sometimes I wouldn't take. Not another quarter-life-crisis syndrome, I hope.
Or simply, people like me, tend to stay in the comfort zone..

Let me enlighten you on what is the Secretariat's job scope.

First, we are not under any managers, and we are a stand-alone department. However, due to some reasons, they put the secretary to look over us (in case adalah yang rebellious kan?). Our job is mainly to invite award winners, give briefing to the exhibitors, print out forms, and on that day of the event itself, we are supposed to function as an Information Counter. People who have doubts, questions, complaints, would always to go our booth, and vent out their frustrations and anger. (klah, not all the time people come and belasah lah..)

I shall be honest here. I used to forget about this department when I was in previous edition of EDX. To me, they are of insignificant role in EDX, and it's just sad to hear the head of department complaining and complaining all the time. (Ok, the real situation isn't really like that, I exaggerated about the insignificant role part, but you get the picture? In short, I find them pretty redundant.) Well, of course, I was being ignorant then, but all these were not revealed to anyone then lah. And if you are reading this, don't lah go tell and announce to the whole world lah..
Until I joined Secretariat this , that I find that sometimes, we've just gotta give some things a try. How can we be so quick in giving judgement to something which we do not understand or try to understand?

(wait ah, my roommate just came back from her date..OMG, it's almost 3.30am now..)

Two nights before the event, we tried to struggle with the database of the participants. So great that they told us we need to use MICROSOFT ACCESS to enter the details. Eh, itu saya sudah pulang kepada lecturer ages ago okay? Thank goodness Fang Xuan was able to help set the template so that it was easier for us to just type in the details. TeeHooi and I were given the task to key in everything about the (Final Year Projects) students. 91 names, 91 project names, 91 contact numbers, 91 student IDs, 91 email address, 91 supervisor names..YOU TYPE UNTIL YOUR EYES GO COCKEYE LAH!

Nevermind the sleepless night we spend to do this data-entry-ing. Afterall, EDX is our passion. Hehhe..

The next day, the real horror begins. From 12pm to 12am, we were expected to sit in the Undercroft, Chancellor Complex to wait for the participants to register and choose their booth locations. The notice placed stated that the registration would start from 12pm onwards, and by 11.45am, people were crowding outside the Secretariat Operation Room. It was total madness! And because there was some technical problems, we had a slight delay of 30 minutes, but at 12pm, the crowd gone mad, and a few fella came in and scolded us. Fine, because it's our fault that we promised to start at 12pm, but use brain cannot?? If system not working, how want to register?? Memang lah, how people like this qualify for FYP, ETP and all the projects I also dunno..So smart, but EQ tarak kah??

As the people came to register, I was busy keying and tallying the actual numbers and the details of the participants. We were responsible to make sure that none of the booth locations has clashes. To make things worst, the Location and Preparation committee changed the numbering and layout of the booths overnight, so we got all the information very last minute and there were slight confusion and mistake. Everyone was in a heat-up mood, but the work still goes on. Only at 1am, we were able to leave because there were clashes but were solved after.

The next morning, D-day, we were required to come at 8am to set up the Secretariat booth, and get ready to assist the participants. Everything went on smoothly, and we tried to help them as much as we can. But sometimes, we can only pray for the best, but whatever that happens after that, is in the hands of God. The electricity was cut off due to a power trip, (someone was overloading the power supply), and participants started to complain because some of their prototype requires electricity to operate.
We often try to settle the problems for them by looking for the respective departments to solve them, but I really don't understand the participants lah, you think we really Information Counter kao kao?? Like if no electricity, they come and scold us, instead of telling us properly.
Hello?? We look like TNB kah??

I heard the Opening Ceremony went on fine. Hahha, good that this time, the PNC committees are comfortable with Marvin, unlike last sem, when I drilled them until wanna cry like that..

The 2nd day of Exhibition, things went on well for us too. I think they must have rated us the worst secretariat because we know very little of things lah. I shall blame no one here, but seriously, we tried to ammend things as much as we could. The participants (super seniors) were getting pretty rude towards us. Kept complaining that the system is not good enough, or we are doing very stupid things..And when they came to us, insisting whether they managed to win a medal for their projects , we politely responded to them that the results are not for us to disclose, and that they should just wait patiently for the closing ceremony. Instead of saying thank you and walk away gracefully, they gave us a glare and said "Why cannot tell?? Just tell lah, we have class/interview, we don't want to waste time waiting.."

Hello, don't want medal, can go pack your bags and leave okay..fuck lah..

Such intellectual minds, but no EQ. No respect for juniors. They really think that we are really hired by UTP for them to use. Even if we are really hired, hello, we are just trying to do our jobs. If you want service, we will provide them. You good, we also good. Why want to show your seniority in front of us??
Honestly, I don't give a damn whether you are a senior or what lah..The moment you give us one kind of look, or unwanted comments, you automatically lose my respect. Or ours, as matter of fact.

The day ended quite well, with us, returning the participants' refunds. 2 days of hardwork, and I dare say, at least the event jadi lah..Nothing much to brag about this time, but just thankful that the event did jalan.

Like every EDX, I learned something new this time. It's not easy to cater to people's needs, and to actually swallow my pride in, and still be able to smile and apologize after being scolded at by different people, I just brought my patience to a higher notch. And yeah, the ego, a notch lower.

1st Day of EDX. We were asked to dress in formal.

Secretariat.
The guy looking elsewhere: Mujahid (Head of Department), Xiyi, Jerry, Fang Xuan, TeeHooi, Me and Amalina.
Missing in picture: Kara, Wendy

One thing I realized is we are a bunch of camwhores lah..

Please don't ask where/how/when/why we took this shot!

Just one more..one more..

Oh man, why do I think we are gonna kena the most during postmortem..??
(psst..I am not going, so blek!)

Kids these days are getting pretty smart..
Even after much explanation, I still can't grasp the "formula" or theory behind it.
Am I turning stupid or what??

This, was popular back then, and now, it's back again.
The RUBIK's cube. And let me tell you what, my brother bought this in KL, a month ago, and he barely understand this cube or the idea behind it.
He tried to solve all the colours, but he barely could even do one colour.

Just now, he did it in front of me, in less than 5 minutes.

I know it's no world record, but heck, you've gotta give credit to this guy, he mastered the whole thing in less than a month! I scrambled the colours 3 times, and he managed to unscramble them without failures. Damn! I was soooo jealous..

I asked him to teach me, and he explained once. I was stuck at the first sentence of his.
Damn!! Suddenly I felt so small...

RUBIK's cube, nice meh??

2 weeks back, the Civil Engineering Department hosted a guy to come give us a talk on how their program enhanced spiritual self to build stronger and higher EQ in one's self. Honestly, I think that only applies to people who only believes in One God, and what about people like me, who are free thinkers? At the beginning of the talk, the guy who's from Indonesia, claimed that Petronas has been using this program to give pep-talks to boost the staffs' confidence and improve their human managing.
I was curious to see what they have to offer, but like I said, what if this doesn't apply to me?

MaraStar is a website which featres Employee Training Materials and Customer Service Videos, using Cartoons. The materials work because they use humour to convey the companies' meesages, whcih has been shown to make training more effective and memorble. It's ways like this proves ways to improve customer service work! This will not only ensure that the messages are sent across, but also they are retained.

I've seen a few cartoons, and I find it more interesting than the talk I've attended. At least, one can still find oneself laughing at cartoons, than waiting for the time to pass by quickly so that the talk will end.

p/s: My mum thought I was going to spend RM200 on an ESPRIT handbag, and she gave the green light.
Then I rectify the matter by telling her that it was a purse that I am eyeing at.
She immediately took my car keys, and said, "No, no go Jusco.."

Maybe life isn't just about scoring the highest GPA..
It's not about earning the most money.
It's also not about making it big, having it all..
Life is certainly not about making people happy, making yourself happy, making everyone happy.
It's not about making it meaningful or living it with no regrets.

Life is just meant to be colourless, meant to wait for it to end.

I'm so behind my work now, wish that sometimes I have the time to sit down and catch up with people. I try to leave random text messages at times, but how often I find the time to really sit down and play with my phone. Often I feel like picking up the phone and dial to any random fella in my phonebook, but that would create awkwardness wouldn't it? So,I PRAY for cheaper phone rates, that the telco companies would fight among themselves, create competition and then offer great deals, and cheap phone calls! Hehhe, but for the time being, maybe I will get a phone card to make overseas calls..Anyone knows how much is an india phone card?

The best internet connection is when everyone's still fast asleep. In the morning.
(Almost) everyone in the campus was in the mamak stalls early this morning, for the match of Man U vs Barcelona. If you didn't already know, it's draw (0-0).

So, you could've guessed the attendance in class today. Think like only 10% of my class was present, the others..hmmm...I wonder where they were..
I've gotta get back to my books, tomorrow's gonna be another battle with water. (Hydrology!!)

Look who's in da house!!

This is urm...Pogoyo...or..urm, maybe it's Jiggly..or..errr....

Ok, moving on..Apparently, hamsters have no dicks or pussies..(or that's what I've been told). Their genders are determined by the shape of their..errrrr...(private part)..For the male, it looks like batu there...I don't know whether this information is correct or not lah..please correct me if I am wrong..

Anyway, one of my housemates bought a full set of hamster stuffs coz her friend gave 2 hamsters to her. So, since the cage (?) is located near the bathroom, everytime we pass by, I would shake the cage hard, hoping to see the hamster's reaction! try to pry into the hamsters' business..

Curious and playful...really resembles Stuart Little weh..
I don't know which is which...

Awww..camera-shy lah..this must be the female!!

Everyone in the house is struggling with test 2! Or should I say the whole UTP is struggling as well. It's crucial week, next week especially.. and then it's Finals, and then holiday lu~

Masturbating. Alaa, this is the guy definitely!! He refused to come out from the hole..deng~ Masturbating la tu!

I kept asking my housemate, why aren't they making out, or having sex, or reproducing..

She said, " Dia baru sebulan lebih..mana boleh..."

To which Lina (one of her friends) tried to show me how they will make out, by placing the male onto the female's back. And I shouted, "Hump her, man!!" ..

Honestly, I think the guy's a gay.

(Foreplay ke?) Sniffing people's butt pulak!

Used to be afraid of this date. 25th of April.
How I shudder at the thought of it, how I would always try to avoid this date.

Today's MP's birthday. Apparently, MP booked the whole penthouse in some club in Melbourne, throwing a birthday party. Obviously MP's having fun over there.

Today's also Sheateng's birthday. We are gonna do something fun too. Like going to get ourselves drunk in Rum J. It's the last time for us to go clubbing, since she's leaving for internship next semester. Hopefully more pictures tomorrow night. Have to show LEVEL 4 and MP how much fun we have here. Lolz.

Don't worry dudes, I am not going [EMO]. In fact I am pretty proud of myself for being able to let go, and still talk about it.

Having a weak heart is no joke. Especially when you are aging, and then one day, you realised you suffer from chest pains, and the difficulty to breath. How about those who has slow heart rate?Perhaps, you will be lucky enough to get medical attention at the nick of time, but what if you missed the symptoms and when the time comes, your heart stops functioning then it's bye-bye for you.

Many, young people like you and me, often think that we are still healthy, and such heart problems wouldn't even occur so early. But let me tell you, frankly, how many actually suffered such problems, silently? Because they don't understand why their chest hurts suddenly, or why they can't breath properly late at night. All these, are perhaps the things you should know about your heart and its condition. That's if you value your life and wished to stay abit longer on earth.

It's hard to read about our heart in a book. Such medical books can be as thick as the phone books, on top of that, with all the medical jargons, ordinary people like you and me would have trouble reading, let along trying to understand the terms. Thank goodness, we have people who piled an interactive heart video library which depicts the video of your hearts. In this way, you not only able to know more about your heart, but also you are doing it in a fun way! No more long wordy words for you there!

Forward this site to your friends, and family or simply any random person in your phone book or email list. For all you know, you might save a life, or two.

This week alone, I learned a valuable lesson.
"Never to believe what you see."

I tried to give reasons, justifying their actions. I am afterall, someone who hates to hate people. Who always come out with excuses to justify their senseless acts. However, this time, I learned that the image I always try to paint in my mind, is wrong. Totally, utterly wrong! The peace that I think mankind will always practise is just merely an image that I pre-programmed earlier when I was younger. I tried to smile, shake off the bad feeling I have inside me. I so wanted to burst and explode into million pieces, or the ground to open up and eat me alive. Suddenly I felt that the world can be an acting stage, that everyone is just faking their smiles, faking their generosity, faking their good moral values. Everyone can be such a faker, that it made me felt disgusted.

I often tried to take my revenge. Pay back their sins and wrong doings. Often I fail. Because I can't possibly go as low as them. I can just conclude I am a person who's not full of vengence. I think I must learn how to take revenge. Must learn to be cruel. Have to be smarter. Smarter a bit from now onwards.
Trying to be more independant myself. Try to be emotionally independant. I don't know what I am saying, but I am determined to change. (WTF)

I hate the fact that I am emotionally weak. I CAN'T HANDLE hatred. and jealousy. and whatever that comes along with that package. So emotionally unstable that it's hard to believe I have reached adulthood.
[emo][emo]

Everytime I go mamak, my (always-ordered-favourite-drink) would be teh halia. Or unless if I feel like drinking something chilly, it would be TEH AIS, but usually, it's would be TEH HALIA.
Now don't give me such antonishing stares. Who doesn't know what TEH HALIA is?

Ginger Tea..urm, ring a bell?

Ok, to be honest, there's no such thing as GINGER TEA (direct translation mah..). Basically, it's TEH with a tinge of ginger. Get the kind of taste?

Usually, if I go to the usual mamak, the Teh Halia is served at the right taste, with the exact proportion of TEH and Halia. But at Deli Planet ( I know, it's a lame name, think it was adapted from the Superman Series) mamak place, they serve teh halia so differently, that I will never order this drink in that particular place anymore.

WHERE GOT PEOPLE CUT GINGER CUBES AND PUT INTO THE DRINK ONE?!!!

Nevermind that, but the drink still doesn't have that kind of ginger-y taste. It tasted bland, like hot water. No more from Deli Planet now.

Am studying for 3 tests, happens on Monday. Yeap, 3 days in one day. Welcome to UTP, people. Where the lecturers will crammed everything into one day. (I made the last sentence up) but seriously, 3 tests await me this Monday. Can die lorr!

Trying to take my mind off petty thoughts. People can do anything to harm me, emotionally, physically, mentally, but I believe in repercussions. In karma. So, beware.

First time in history, I think I flunked my maths paper. And this time, when I said I flunked it, I really mean it.

I thought I had it all covered. It was easy-peasy. It was just some probability counting, and some statistics. How hard can that be? I tried covering everything I could. Even though I haven't been to many of the lectures or tutorials, I tried my best.

I came out, feeling sucky. I didn't know what was the question about, and even though I had a vivid image of the question, the idea didn't pop out. I had no idea how to tackle the questions and for some reason, I mistaken standard deviation for variance. GREAT. Just what I need before Finals. Another disaster.

I know I am gonna get ZERO for this test. I just knew it. FUCK, I don't want to retake this course again.

Today's just not my day. With 3 tests to tackle, today, is definitely a black monday.
What can I do just to get some luck here?

The connection is pretty decent this morning. At least I can sign up on MSN, reply my emails, and do some reading. I have so much to do that it's hard to believe this is the last week of the academic week, and another week of study break and it's gonna be the finale of the semester.
I shall share a dose of my fear when I post the picture of my examination timetable some time soon.

Anyway, like I mentioned earlier.

"IT
WAS
A
CRAZY
NIGHT"

It started with the idea on how we should bring together the whole July 05 batch to do something, in conjunction with celebrating everyone's birthdays which fall on April and May. So, the most interesting thing I could come up was CLUBBING. I mean, we've never actually club together in a large group, not with the July 05 people. After a night of brain-storming, our GTALK taglines were changed, asking those who are interested to leave a message if they are interested.

Come the next day, 3 cars-full of people were ready to go, while we were still accepting those who are interested to go. But like I've always said, it's useless to plan something, because whatever you plan may not be whatever that's gonna happen at the end of the day. The lecturers decided to shift 3 tests on the following Monday, so alot of them had to pull out last minute. I was one of those who have 3 tests but insisted to go on with the plan, since it was probably the last time we would group together. 3 cars down to 2 now.

The South Africans were pretty busy, and it was disappointing that they couldn't make it. I bet if they were there, the situation would be different. Much more happening!
Alas, it was down to the housemates, and also the guys (whom are not so important lah)

Carina, Cres and I went down to Sushi East first for dinner. Before proceeding to buy a cake for SheaTeng, (and also we managed to eat one ourselves too) We arrived in Rum Jungle so much earlier than the rest, that we went walking around. I bought myself a pack of 20s Salem to kill some time. Boy, RumJ is making a profit by cheating our money lah. A pack of 20s and they are charging us RM 11.30. That's extortion leh...

They finally arrived, after I took one shot of Tequila. No effect really. I wanted to have more, but it was RM10 per shot, and there was no kick. It was money not worth spending. They came, and also Sheateng's friends came. And then WuiKeong and Sharon came. What was supposed to be a gathering of July 05, only left a few of us. We ordered 2 buckets of Carlsberg's Christmas brew, which langsung takde kick at all. I only had like a few sips before the bottle of beer mysteriously hilang, and in the end, I didn't drink at all.

So the night was spend with me, smoking. I honestly (almost) finished the pack of 20s at the end of the day. But it was really good~..I didn't get drunk, yet I got 'high'. The crazy night started at the dance floor, where we just danced, and danced and danced. Even Carina, who refused to join us during our Clubbing session, was seen to "stripped" from her comfort shell, and joined us boogie in front of the live band. It was certainly crazy, with all the crazy moves we came out, and *blush*, I even did a Shakira- hips shake in front of so many people. I don't know what came over me, but it was certainly a fun experience.

The housemates. Sheateng, Crescentia, Carina and horny Pau.

Sheateng bought 2 chicks to play with me that night. (hehhe)
I don't know their names, but yeah, they are girls.

There were also juniors around, and some final year seniors. I think they were probably surprised (more of shocked) to see me there, or us there..I think Jasmit was the one who got really affected, when he was talking to me, and I suddenly took a puff and answered him. In his mind, must be thousands of questions swimming.

The night ended pretty well, with them refusing to leave the club until I insisted them. We left Tambun at 2 in the morning. The day didn't stop there, we continued with supper in McD. I gobbled a Cheese burger and also a bowl of porridge with 2 Colas. My throat was dry, I was so hungry, but a good achievement I would say, it was the ONE time I didn't get drunk.

More pictures to come, after I get hold of it. This is just to satisfy your curiosity. The pictures yet to come is more crazy, more wild, and more not-angkhian-ish...

It's difficult to organize an event where we can meet everyone's requirements, everyone's schedule and everyone's preferences. I do respect the patience of the "Protocol&Ceremony department" when they would make sure that (almost!) everyone's happy with the time, the date, the place before they proceed into the agenda.

I would always refrain from taking up the job because simply I am so much of a people-pleaser that I would TRY to suit everyone's needs. Definitely difficult to please everyone, especially those with attitude problems.

Those who always cannot follow the time set, those who always complain about having it too early, or having it too late, those who doesn't like loud music, those who don't drink, those who don't sing, those who prefer this than that. Even being a bystander, I felt the pressure of having to accomodate everyone in ONE SIMPLE EVENT.

We just have to look furthur and put our personal preferences aside. It's not your day after all, it's others. So, eat up your ego, put your selfishness aside, and think for others other than yourself. It's either you agree to go, or not. As simple as that.

Thank YOU for everything.
Thank YOU for putting the smile on my face.
Thank YOU for everything that you've done.
Thank YOU for just being there.

Just promise me you won't go away.
